For the past two months I had been preparing for the Microsoft Data Analyst Associate Exam

During the exam, I encountered questions in the often-overlooked field of BI Administration.

Moreover, I am currently seeking opportunities in the field of Data Analysis. If you have any available roles or know of any organizations that are looking to add a Data Analyst to their team, I would be more than happy to explore these possibilities.

Good evening house. I'm currently learning Python and Machine Learning. I plan to buy a laptop that will enhance my learning. My budget is between 200k and 220k. Someone told me to go for core i5 and above but the price of the new one is beyond my budget. My intention is to buy new one. Is it advisable to go for the UK used core i5 or buy new core i3. Your suggestions and advices will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Buy i5 make sure it has SSD

This video might helpful to someone here.

This video shows how to extract a month name from a month number within a given date. We used Microsoft Excel to solve this problem as well as MySQL workbench when you are working with a database. We used two methods in MySQL to solve the problem. Watch the video till the end to up skill your Excel and SQL.
If you have not subscribed to this channel, endeavor to do. That's only cost to this knowledge.
Kind regards

@Ejiod,nice job I have gone through most of the thread from 2019 and I must say kudos to you bro.
but I have some things to say for clarity sake.

Anyone who wants to delve into data science needs not have a full grasp of EXCEL,this is because all waht Excel can do and even more pandas, numpy and matplotlib(and seaborn) can do it and even more (analysis, numerical computation and visualisations),there are other modules built on Python that can do extra excellent jobs too that are far better than excel.

With pd.read_csv('name of file')
You can import a file into your notebook

With filename.describe()
You can have an over view of where to begin your data cleaning from

With filename.isna().sum()
You can hnow how many spaces in your table does not have values and you begin your cleaning
Either by using .dropna or fillinh the column or row with the mean of the valuses available.

How deep in python should I go boss , I understand the basics of python Although I'm still trying to Play around with CSV files, after learning all these ,do I learn R ?or try to understand what numpy and what some other python modules do

Data science we speak libraries not framework(As in web development with django ur flask)... For data science there are many libraries. Mostly I use pandas,researchpy,plotly,scipy and statsmodel.

Lol, when you get there, you will realise, Did I tell you am unemployed? , Did I tell you am broke? Did I tell you I don't know the importance of moving abroad to land your dream job. I can bet you have not been there , I can bet you have never searched for remote international job.I'm stating facts but you want to keep hallucinating. For your information, am a first class graduate. What am saying is even after acquiring the skills, you need to find a way of moving abroad, cos those companies are interested in people already living in Europe or north America. This is not dreaming, I am stating the reality
Going through my profile and then I saw your post.
How are you doing?
Have you been able to move?
How's it going with you?

Hello guys.
I stumbled on this thread yesterday.
I am a data analyst. Did the Google analytic course on coursera. I also joined entry level 1 and 2 for additional hands on practical. I'm very good with SQL, excel and not too good with R. I use Tableau for visualisation.

Here's the thing
I haven't been able to land a job yet. I've been applying on upwork. It seems no one wants a data analyst with a less than 2 to 5 years experience šŸ˜•.

What do I do? Where else can I apply and get a job?
I want to skill up by adding python and also becoming a data scientist ( please suggest a good tutor either paid or free).

Sometimes I feel so down as if my knowledge could be a waste.

You don't necessarily need to subscribe to premium to get a Job but it gives you other access like mailing inrecruiters and knowing where you're getting views from

A data scientist/analyst navigates vast datasets, employing statistical methods, programming, and machine learning to extract insights. They translate complex data into actionable strategies, aiding businesses in decision-making. Their journey involves continuous learning, experimentation, and problem-solving, ensuring the fusion of data-driven insights with organizational goals for innovation and growth.If you are looking for a career in data science I suggest The IoT Academy. It provides online or offline data science with machine learning courses and many technical courses like Digital Marketing, Embedded Systems, Full Stack Java Development, Python and IoT.
