The vehicle under upgrade is not Prado 2005 but Prado 2010 . If you check the back windscreen of the car under upgrade, it is different from 2005 Prado back windscreen. 2010 upgrade to 2018 Prado do not need any body panel beating.

Maybe the car had body issues before they brought it for upgrade.

The structural integrity of the car( as a 2005 model ) may have not been compromised (based on the pictures taken)
However, this is on the assumption that the front crashbar and chassis rails were not modified to fit the new bumper/ headlights

The only issue here is the false belief of driving a newer and ( by implication and expectation, ) safer vehicle and it is expected that a 2018 model should have much better crash ratings.

In this case however, because the Prado was not sold in North America, ownership and other details may not be easily accessible.
