Many countries are working on reducing pollution from cars and bicycles are being looked at.

Bikes have no emissions and actually helps you live longer as you're excercising while getting to your destination.

Planning of cities to make work places closer to living places too can help. Walking to work can help.

Also, car pooling is a big deal. Driving less can help.

Electric cars too is another area that should be explored. We have to hand over a better earth to the generation coming, let's not ruin it.

I have a lot to say on this topic but let me stop here.

Especially in a lawless, ruleless and structureless country like Nigeria where vehicles that should be in junkyards are allowed to ply the streets. The air is toxic you taste, smell and feel the obnoxious atmosphere. It is killing people in drove in Nigeria, and nobody is saying anything because the system is clueless; fully blindfolded, primitive and on the verge of extinction unless something rationally drastic is put in place. Critical Thinking.

Maybe you meant to write transportation sources, which include aircrafts and other transport medium that utilize fossil fuels.

This is a very topical issue, our air quality has become so bad, to the the extent that one struggles to breathe while walking on the road. The government cares very little about this menace.
