DEAD ON ARRIVAL!

It is interesting and vital to note here that the PDP which many lovers of corruption still proudly support and adore was in power for 16 solid years and in those years there were 4 Presidential Inaugurations and on none of those was an Igbo man found worthy by the PDP of even Vice Presidency and we are still bold to say it is the APC that has just finished one tenure that doesn't want to give power to Igbos.

PDP gave SW 8 years presidency, it's time for APC to give the SE
pdp zoned it ticket to south 19999 while south west (Obasanjo) and south east (ekueme) contested for the ticket twice in 1999 and 2003.

If south east want Apc ticket they should contest for it in the primary

Yes, and I think that with such a combination, PDP stands a better chance unless the APC plans to give it to the South east. A South west presidency in 2023 is dead on arrival.

That PDP is still waxing strong in the East is purely due to APC's you-can-go-to-hell punitive measures and it's army of bigots attacks against the region. The East has very proud people and will not say 'sorry' in a democracy for not voting you no matter how much you marginalize them and expect them to prostrate and beg. The APC didn't seem to realize this despite having some few intelligent people at the top.

In working democracies when parties win power, if they want to remain in power for long, they expend a lot of energies appeasing the regions where they lost initially, so that it will go against human nature and conscience for that region to vote against that party in subsequent elections. It is the people that gives power not the other way round.

That PDP is not dead yet, is APC's doing. Using the instrument of marginalization, threats and nepotism to sideline the East kept PDP alive. It is to their gain.
I hope APC can surprise the PDP by ceeding the ticket to East. It will sweep the carpet off PDP's legs, it will create confusion in their camp. But unfortunately it is the same bigots within APC that are against an Eastern ticket. The same bigots who still want PDP dead yet want to sideline 11 million pro-PDP voters, almost 50% of the total voters population. They can't see beyond their nostrils.

Ooo, so they should give their presidential ticket to the region where they got 5% votes and leave the region where they got 60%, pls get sense. APC will never reward east with their presidential ticket after caliing it Amala-ewedu party, boko haram party, etc to hell with them and their 5% votes. Nonsense

The East is not foolish enough to let your wish happen. If it must come south, it must be SE vs SE affair. The SW would have spent a cummulative period of 16 years in presidency as president and VP by 2023.

There is no emotion, just practical politics. If the APC zones the ticket to SW the PDP will be jubilating and we all know why.

the PDP is not going to give the SE the presidential slot and neither is APC of these 2 things I am 100% sure.

2023 will be a defining year for this country as the truth of the fraud that is Nigeria will be laid bare.

That is my prediction.

If the South east wants to play a long game, they should go for this.

The only way APC can win here is to run with a northerner.

I wouldn't begrudge the PDP if they go for this.
Anything to win.

Sweet victory in the offing. Replaying 2015 politics.

The 2015 election was a south affair until the south west queued behind a Northerner.

The north is already in an advantegous position no matter where the politics falls on.

Only a united south can change that, but that will never happen.

The best we can do is to get a share from the northern table.
