STATE OF FEDERAL ROADS IN ABIA STATE...OGA FASHOLA NEEDS TO SEE THIS All the major federal roads are bad and they are the entry points. State Governments can't even fix them since the FG have asked them to keep off Federal roads. We have several Abians in this government at the Executive and Legislative levels. Hope they'll call the FG attention to these . NOTE: This is Federal Roads, the responsibility of the Federal government not STATE government roads. Pictures taken on Wednesday. Credit: CKN 6 Likes

DonKachiERA: being a federal road does not remove from the fact that the road is in Abia state. So, I maintain that Abia is gone. 64 Likes 1 Share |

popsy2: The problem with some of you is that you blame the wrong people for your problems. Call on the Federal government to do it's work and stop casting aspersions on the State or State government. 22 Likes 2 Shares

DonKachiERA: Okay, if you have been to the Abia state capital of Umuahia or the commercial city of Aba, now I am talking about the infrastructure that completely should be the responsibility of the state government, you will agree with me that Abia state government is a failure. Abia is definitely not the only state with a Federal road, I guess the other states perform magic to fix theirs. 24 Likes 1 Share |

Irrespective of the fact that the State Govt isn't doing well, why the FG continues to punish that state is what I don't know. Anything Federal in the state is nonexistent. From roads to parastatals to ministries..some are like kitchens. FCC is on a rented building, NIMC is three or four rooms, etc. Go to institutions, why the FG is doing bonanza at Daura, Namoda, Kogi and now Delta...states which already have two or three Federal institutions....this is the only state in Southern Nigeria with only one Federal higher institution. These were some of the things I expected them to lobby for under the GEJ administration, we were packing money. Go to the same Umuahia-Ikot-ekpene road, on the Akwa-Ibom side under Akpabio that road was good. The politicians at Federal level we have in that state always forget their placenta in Abuja and begin to pontificate when they leave office. Let me leave that Aba side, that Enugu own ehn.....Kai. God help us. 1 Like 1 Share |
