Keeping and maintaining a relationship is hard, assuming that both partners love each other genuinely, it still requires a lot of patience, endurance, communication, trust, sacrifices, learning and un-learning, hurting and forgiving etc seeing partners in love, doing fine and waxing strong after a long time, it has taken them years of work to achieve that. Falling in love is easy, staying in love is the problem.

Love and relationship with the right person is already hard, now imagine it with the wrong one. You try all you can to make things right, it seems futile. You give it your best and all just to see it blossom but it seems your best is not enough. You work, invest your time, emotions and money, try to impress them and everybody around them, endure all sorts of things you will normally not tolerate from any other person, read all sorts of relationship articles and put all into practice, break the promises you made to yourself, your parents and even to God, become their mumu button, still it is not enough. You still find yourself struggling to get a grip on the relationship.

You are struggling for the wrong love my dear, you are suffering to build the wrong relationship and you are making sacrifices to the wrong person, it is that simple. No matter how much fuel you pump into a car that is faulty, it can not move, you either fix it or get a new one. If you have tried fixing it and it’s not working or developing more faults and trying to get you bankrupt, you abandon it and get a new one.

You can never be good enough for the wrong person, no matter how much you try. If you are giving your all to a relationship and it is not enough, you are giving it to the wrong person. Before you wreck yourself and develop emotional and mental problems, brother/sister, take a walk. You cannot do anything else for a dead man except to bury him. Love and respect yourself enough to walk away, breath fresh air and have a fresh start. There is always someone for everyone and you are not exempted.
