LabDNA: You fool yourself. That number includes about 50% of votes cast in the SW which you will never get if a SWerner is running for presidency as they will go to the APC. Besides, the total voter turnout in the SE was just above 2.5m out of 84m registered which is even way less than 5%. You are political nonentities and liabilities in every sense. The SS are also becoming much more sophisticated by the day as can be seen by Omo Agege who is now DSP above the Igbos, and the groundswell of support for APC by Bayelsans including your idol Jonathan is a clear indication that the SS are done with blind loyalty which makes you even more irrelevant than in the last election. You are even more clueless than I thought. To the point of not even realizing that whether North or West its a win win for the North. 4 Likes 1 Share |

joeyfire: How many states constitutes the Midwest region in the SS. Why should Yoruba have problem with Edo and Delta when we honored the referendum to allow them go in peace. The eastern region never gave the Niger Delta that luxury during the travails of Isaac Adaka Boro. Even during the Biafran war, we all know how the Biafra military massacred scores of people in Calabar and some SS’ners even fought on the side of Nigeria. The SS should know their true friend and they will see the Igbos for who they truly are soon. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Scared Are you for real Which unity Every ethnic group/Geo-political zone is pursuing it's own interests and are you seeing any one saying he is scared? The SS support the PDP just like the SE support the PDP but this doesn't mean both the SE and the SS will always be on the same page with every political issue. The defeat of Sen Ike Ekweremadu by Sen Ovie Omo-Agege as the Deputy Senate President clearly illustrate this point. Check the strength and the performance of the APC in the SS and compare it with that of the SE, you will see that the APC has made significant inroad into the SS joeyfire: |

LegendHero: Boro was tried by a court for treason in the Eastern Region but later murdered by your very own Adekunle. If not that Awo was out of the picture in 1963 and the Western Region had been in a low grade civil war at that time you would never have allowed them to go. Do some research. You think the SS people don't know their history? Finally this SW propaganda of biafran massacres in calabar has been decimated time and time again. When we dug deeper we observed that it was actually a Yoruba man serving under Murtala that even supervised the Asaba genocide. Nobody believes you guys but I guess you can't help trying 1 Like |

I am not interested in your rabid bigotry and hatred for the Yorubas (that's your own cup of tea), however with regards to your last sentence, what exactly do you hope to achieve with this? This is a democratic dispensation, you are 100% free and right to vote for a Northern candidate either in 2023 or throughout your life. However ,you need to understand that 1) Other Nigerians also have this same right to vote for whosoever they like and when this doesn't tally with your preferred candidate, you have no right to call them traitors/betrayers. All of us can't see political issues exactly the same ways, let's learn to respect the views of other citizens who see things differently. 2) There are other Nigerians who will want to vote for a Yoruba candidate in 2023. It's best to put this into voting to determine which side of the divide are in the majority. 3) Yoruba candidates or any other serious presidential candidates, who have been nursing presidential ambition and have invested their time, energy, emotion and resources will not just abandon their ambition because a citizen like you is threatening to vote for a Northern candidate on a faceless forum. These rantings are quite childish and laughable. They won't stop any serious presidential material from contesting. NigeriaIsDoomed: 1 Like 1 Share |

oyatz: The obsession you guys have with always dreaming of faultlines between the SS and SE reeks of fear. Open a discussion online or offline about Igbos in the SS and Yorubas are the ones screaming loudest and more passionately than even the people of the SS. What is the performance of APC in the SS really? I honestly would like to know. Bear in mind that APC also has presence in the SE even though small like SS. Omo-Agege is a very poor example because APC had more numbers in the Senate. If you check the voting pattern I am sure you will see that SS Senators voted heavily for Ekweremadu. Omo-Agege that was nominated by a Senator from the north. 1 Like |

fulanimafia:I know you'll give yourself up easily with the bolded. Only the SW brag about political sophistication. No other ethnic group or zones does this. The Yoruba political sophistication is built on hate and ethnic prejudice. But I won't even go on to recount your travesty. At least the likes of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi understands your kind of political ideology. Please be bold to say you're a Yoruba, no one will come for your head. Second you talk about DSP position going the way of the SS as an achievement. You should be ashamed of yourself. So among all the meaningful position the APC zoned to the south it was a tea cup DSP post that the SS should applaud you for. The Urhobo can be proud of that as an achievement, not the Ijaws, Efiks, Anioma, Edo's and others who have tasted top positions in government before. The same SS zone had never had it bad politically until the coming of the APC. Even under Shagari's tenure the SS got the Senate Presidency and other enviable positions. In PDP they had the VP and the Presidency. Now, you have the effrontery to dangle DSP and Chairman as enviable post, that's an insult on the part of the SS. And again for your information, the SE don't hate the APC infact an APGA faction led by Rochas were among the founders of the APC, before you Yoruba's selfishly denied them their own quota. Before even the SS had even a Senator from APC, the SE already one had from Imo. APC had won Governorship position in Imo state, HOR and state HOA members. In Abia, the APC won two HOR positions and Senatorial positions. So who voted the APC? Maybe Yoruba's were imported to do the thumb printing I guess. In Ebonyi, the APC have HOR member in the party. Even with strong members and Governorship aspirants in Anambra and Enugu state. So you can never put the SE in the same bracket with the Yoruba's in politics. Opposition parties have always held political positions in the East. A lot of people may hate the Buhari personality for obvious reason for which he has proven and not the party. So watch your mouth next time, Mr Political Sophistication. 1 Like |

joeyfire: Rubbish assertions. Do you think you’re talking to a kindergarten here ? Which reference points to the fact that Adekunle murdered Boro? Can you cite a credible source with a link here? It’s a universal truth that the Eastern region tried Boro for treason which amount to a death sentence according to the constitution. The SS knows that and they never forget. Your assertion about Awolowo and Western region state of mind was based on the figment of your imagination. Don’t we have a premier during those period that can intercede for the West during the secession of the mid west? C’mon you should be more learned than this. The Yorubas are people with liberal mind who dosen’t hold people against their will. The Midwest left and the depth of Yoruba grace manifested. Calabar massacre is the truth and infact there are numerous article to back that claim. It’s clear as daylight that the Igbos massacred those people. How do you explain the fact that some SS fought against Biafrans? Do you think they they don’t know what you did to them at that time? 1 Like |

LegendHero:There was never a Calabar massacre. Never was any massacre ever recorded to have been carried out by the Biafran troops against the eastern minorities. How do you people even reason? So you think the Biafran soldiers will go about killing her own people in a civil war? Her own people who it was suppose to protect against foreign murderers. Her own people who had sons fighting in the Biafran army? Her own people who suffered air strikes from the Egyptian Airforce and bombardment from the third marine commando. Why where there no international records of the masscres except the ones fabricated by one Taiwo and Mutiu in Ibadan. None was recorded, by the CIA, the KGB and even in the BBC archives. Why don't we have victims of the massacres? Or maybe they were ghost the Lagos-Ibadan expressway media manufactured. Why didn't any reputable world media like BBC and CBS recorded the phantom massacre? No video, no pictures whatsoever, nothing at all of said Biafran massacre on their own people. You Yoruba's are pathetic. The famous massacre that exist were the ones carried out by the federal forces in Asaba, Port Harcourt and other parts of Biafra. Lastly the Igbo's are not animals like you Yoruba's. It was on record that your people have been bloody killers before the coming of the British, Post-Independent Nigeria and even till now. During, the Kiriji war your ethnic group carried out massive extinction of smaller sub-groups wiping them out totally save for the coming of the British. Even if we excuse your barbaric ways in the precolonial era, how about Operation Wetie in the Western Region? The most barbaric man to man killings and torching of humans with petrol and fire. How about this era and skull mining. Please, please, compare yourselves to the north in killings. Don't rub on us such bestiality, its never our nature. The Igbo's value human lives and had no history of attacking her neighbours precolonial or even in the civil war. 1 Like 1 Share |

UdechiHD: First of all, the SE is composed of people that don’t have a thinking of their own and are usually easily swayed by public sentiments. While the average Igbo man takes solace in his republican lifestyle of not accountable to anyone, they are actually the tribe that can be easily controlled which negate their usual republican mindset. Bro, the APC is not loved in the SE simply because of the Buhari factor and Jonathan loss. Forget the fact that Okorocha was governor in the SE and the issue of few representatives. They igbos simply hate that party and anyone associated with that party is usually seen like a betrayal and an outcast. Why was Okorocha hated? Do you think it’s only because of his non-performance? Hell No, if it had been performance then Ikpeazu should have been voted out due to how he managed Aba. But because the PDP can easily control the SE people with propaganda, they are able to polarize them to a certain trend. Also look at the case of Kanu and calling Buhari Jubril, do you know almost 65% of the Igbo populace believed that insane propaganda? How will majority of a tribe sleep and face the same position? People have learnt to appeal to the SE’ners emotion to control them because the SE people can be easily won over even by useless opinions. Also the SE people are not calculative, they have an assumption of thinking outward strength is intelligence and that affected them in politics. Why should uou be calling the whole North cow, savages, terrorist, when you know you will support Atiku a Fulani man. Why should you be abusing all Muslims and calling the SW cowards and betrayal because they are supporting a Muslim candidate when you (Igbos) also will campaign for Atiku; What is the sense in that please. The Yorubas are the wisest tribe in Nigeria in terms of human interaction, we know when to bow and when to strike. We appeal to the Muslim North and the Christian southern minorities and middle belt people. We rather attack personalities that abuse all tribes. We also learnt to give up when we know it’s difficult to win and restrategize to achieve results. Also the misconception that the North is powerful is just nonsense. North is dominating simply because we practice democracy which is a game of numbers. They will always decide who rules Nigeria for eternity in as much as we remain together as a country. That is just the truth my bro. So if you know the North is what it is, you can either breakup Nigeria or ally with the north to achieve your aim or try changing the constitution to limit the power of population in our democracy. 2 Likes |

UdechiHD: You’re getting too emotional. Can you tell me why some SS’ners fought against Biafra? If you can answer my question then you would have supported my claim about the many sins of the Igbos against those SS’ners. Also Ojukwu was known to kill some of his army generals based on trump up charges. Even Col Banjo that fought on his side and who was willing to invade his motherland was executed by Ojukwu. So who are the southern minorities in the echelon of power that Ojukwu won’t exterminate? He alleged they are being used by the FG as saboteur to their effort which explains why he ordered their death. About the Yorubas pre-colonialism, we have the Oyo empire and during those days empires have to expand especially through war and conquest. That was why the Oyo empire extends to Benin republic and even part of Ghana. We have the British, Roman, Greek, ottoman empires who all go to war of conquest so what are you talking about. The Igbos don’t have any kingdom or known history before the colonialist came so how do you expect them to colonize anyone? Infact your forefathers don’t have cloth when the colonialist came and they are all savages. Also, the Ijaws and Igalas lord over some of you and used the Igbos as slaves so how exactly do you want to colonize anyone? Do you even have any known famous military expedition pre-colonialism? We know of Sokoto empire, Benin empire, Oyo Kingdom etc. and their history, who knows of any Igbo empire? Isn’t that why your kinsmen are confused about their origin? Today jew tomorrow Egyptians! Yes WETIE is an offshoot of political clashes which is not alien to an Africa system of democracy. Even till now we still have political party clashes so what exactly are you talking about? 2 Likes 1 Share |
