Yeah, you're right about Ironsi. Who even mentions his name in the East? He was a foolish man who was sleeping while fire was raging in his compound. He put Igbos exactly where we are today. If he had released Awolowo, things might have been different. He was just full of himself and couldn't even take precaution for his own life despite all the warnings he received. May he rot in hell. Even Gowon- his Chief of staff never wrote anything of worth about him. He was just like Rochas of today. May we never have such a foolish kinsman as a leader again.
