Lost my Mac Book Pro after I copped this album I was trying to share with a friend who wanted it so badly, however, out of sheer stupidity I left my backpack with the Mac in it on top of my car, then drove off! Didn't noticed till I got home trying to pull my bag outta the car! It took me time and energy to build a library I got; bank & credit details, itunes account with credit on it, & so many projects gone with the wind without been backed up on a CD! I like the direction tho. .but most of the lyrics are just sooooooooooooooooooo dumbed down.

But yea . .he got the groove which is wat majority of listeners dancers want.
So yea. .M.i is in the club!

I applaud the album for one thing,and that is the musical direction.Either you a rap music lover or not,you can feel a connection with the album.Even my Mrs who is not into anything rap has been bumping beef and number 1 since yesterday.Such is the mass appeal and pull of the album.

BTW,i think Rugged made a mistake releasing his album at the same time with MI,he's getting no buzz as MI is taking all the shine.

Mixed feelings bawo?One thing i have discovered is that the "hip hop head fraternity" is a minority and are not the ones that will go all out to popularize your album.One of my projects took me to 4 different secondary schools and 6 different Universities in naija(apologies Dora) of late so believe me when i say you really need to dumb down to be in the mix and be widely accepted.And ain't these lots(the ones filled with youthful exuberance) supposed to be the targetted audience?

That said,even in his "dumb down state",MI covered a range of subjects that is quite wide with tracks like craze,my belle and wild wild west.So kudos.

The interlude and skits are extremely annoying to me though,especially the one before one naira where i can't see connection between the track and the grating drama.

Soundsultan and Rugged were also supposed to be on the wild wild west but something happened along the line which made MI to apologize to them on twitter,so maybe we should expect a remix of the track.

Sure of course. .the thing is "hiphop heads" are selfish. .like u said its like a fraternity. .meanin it aint a mass driven thing!
I kno he covers diver topics. .props to him, but when u see ferrari acting toyotaish. .it gives mixed feelin, ya dig?
A toyotalike auto will still move u around, cover the basics, acceptance and all. .cos it's targeted at the masses. .
But as a ferrari user. .u gon be like shiiii. .wtf. .y is ferrari now doin a toyotalike automobile.

The songs will grow on most pple. .and by december the accolades will increase!

I dont think so!

May seem pedestrian to you but the subtle intricacies of the flow on tracks like Craze and Action film require high level of technical expertise.

Its not often I listen to album and take notes of flow structure cos I thought I heard it all.

anyways, Im still on track 6 or 7. Make I finish first.

Although I must say that the skits are an epic fail.
