We will resist this attempt,no US citizen has come out to claim that he/she was duped by Allen, no US company or bank has raised any issue of Allen defrauding them, this conspiracy with imperialists will fail.
Nigerians must rise up and support a growing business just like US, China, Russia, India do, they don't run down businesses in their countries

How did oyeama a legal practitioner ,He was not a business man who had build successful empires over time, he had no digital or analogue record of successful business ventures. Igbos has started with blame game, anything that affects Igbos they want to always link it to something to blame the government.

US government and not EFCC that accused Oyenma of fraud and it's just normal for the EFCC to conduct their investigation to verify the allegations against their citizens and such process take place anywhere.

The biggest mistake this guy made was coming out to personally announce that his company was going to airlift Nigerians stuck in South Africa during the crisis.

If he really wanted to help and wanted to maintain a low profile, He could have let the announcement be done by his company with a strict warning not put his name and also let the govt take the glory for it. How many times do you hear Adenuga making announcements for Glo?

It was this singular act that brought his case to the attention of the law enforcement agencies in the US.

BTW, why won't these people that have stolen monies learn to do quiet business and shun the spotlight? Why airline business? Why not start by importing consumables and beverages, or go into agriculture, or import electronics and generators? Or import raw materials for factories? Just do something that will not bring you into the spotlight.

Better still, buy your planes from China or Europe. The best Ghanaian Airline is run with a fleet of planes from China. Nobody questions the money that goes into China, all they want is money.

He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. You cannot use stolen wealth or money to buy goodwill. Be guided!

Even if this story were to be true, what do we do with the information?
Allen had always talked about the "role" he played in securing "peace" in the Niger Delta. Such efforts anywhere in the world come at a cost for "consultancy'. I wonder if he was also paid for the Benue peace deal.
These things happen in every government. Recall that former CBN Governor Sanusi paid El Rufai a whooping N5b as consultancy fee for a one-page document he wrote. The thing about such consultancy fees is that it is unregulated. Managers of security vote know better.
Thank you.

I can't make a judgement call one way or the other on that US indictment, but with jealous bigots like you looking to bring him down based solely on the fact he's Igbo, i'm almost certain it was instigated from Nigeria!

You are very dumb.

Not only is Nigeria a signatory to the Financial Action Task Force, a global effort to counter money laundering and terrorist financing ... Nigeria also has an extradition treaty with the United states.

The EFCC, therefore is right to investigate that criminal, Allen Onyeama, prosecute the motherfucker and send his thieving ass to the USA for thorough prosecution and indictment.

So fucck off!

Instigated from Nigeria or not, the fact remains that Onyeama is a criminal. All pointers seem to be against him.

He should be extradited to the USA ASAP to face the charges levelled against him and if found culpable either by the EFCC or DOJ in the states, Air peace should be appropriately nationalized while he spends the rest of his thieving life in gaol.

For all those saying this is fake news, can these statements be refuted of clarified.

Statement one
Allen Onyema, the publicly known owner of Air Peace was a legal practitioner based in Lagos until 2013 when Air Peace was inaugurated. He was not a businessman who had built successful empires over time, he had no digital or analog record of successful business ventures. In 2013, he had successfully obtained the permits to set up what would eventually be Nigeria’s biggest airline company from nothing.

Can we have his corporate profile and history before 2013?

Statement two
Kingsley Kuku during his time as Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Program converted his office as a fundraising scheme, and indeed the funds were raised. Several billions of unaccounted tax payers money were stolen from the Amnesty program, and when Kingsley Kuku’s time as Chairman was over, a clearly orchestrated arson was committed at the accounts records office of the Presidential Amnesty Office to erase all trace of theft and fraud, a well thought out plan, a well executed plan.

Those records were intentionally destroyed init

Statement three
But the eyes of Nigeria’s anti graft commissions were already on him, and he fled to the U.S. before he could answer to EFCC’s questions about a N6.2bn contract, he has been on exile since 2015.

What has stopped him from visiting Nigeria in five years?

Statement four
Allen Onyeama’s business outfit handled the demobilization and orientation of former Niger Delta militants which cost billions of Naira to run. Allen Onyema has also been responsible for high valued training contracts (running into billions) in the areas of welding training as well as aviation training for the Presidential Amnesty Programme in countries such as South Africa, The United States and Dubai.

Can these NGOs publish their books and projects and have the contents verified by the Militants who were granted Amnesty?

The truth as I see it is that Allen Onyeama is just a frontman like there are many front men and women out there today. He should cop a plea bargain, do the small-time and live his life.

Jonathan is not an intelligent man.

He did not utilize the power of incumbency to closed out this issues staring at him.

He was looking for a nobel peace prize as a democrat.

Now that the chips are down.

He will be hounded by the americans.

There is very little Oyeama can do.

At a stage he will back out to tell the world the whole truth.

Most importantly, all must be on deck to protect peace airline.

We should not continue to destroy good things no matter their dirty background.

Homes are being feed from the money Peace Airline is generating.

Marriages are being sustained from the money Peace Airline is generating.

So lets pray for the Almighty to take over the case.

There is hardly anything good that can be sustainably built on faulty foundation. Air Peace is marked. At this rate those jobs you seek to protect are technically on their way out. Airline business is sustainably funded by structured financing. Even before this new broke out, the rumour mill had it that Air Peace was already struggling. Jimi Disu had quipped on radio when Air Peace ferried home our brothers in SA, that it was more a publicity stunt to save a dying enterprise. Institutional lenders will not want to meddle in any Air Peace wahala. Equity holders will begin to see it as a "keep-off" terrain.
