President Buhari appeals to Nigerian youths to stay and advance the cause of your motherland

President Buhari has appealed to Nigerian youths in a haste to leave the country to stay back and advance the cause of their motherland.

President Buhari who was represented at 44th convocation ceremony of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife on Saturday December 14 by Suleiman Raman-Yusuf, the deputy executive secretary of National Universities Commission (NUC) urged universities to work out ways to increase their internally generated revenue (IGR) to enhance sustainable education.



He said;

“It is high time that universities took more proactive roles in ensuring that graduands perform more meaningfully in the world of works.

“It is in view of this that we wish to exhort our youths to start looking inwards, stay and advance the cause of their motherland. We have no other country than Nigeria. We should remain here to salvage the country together.”

President Buhari who called for support in the education sector, stressed that the future of Nigeria lies in the quality of education provided to its citizens.

I opened the thread to see if Major General Buhari made this statement himself but someone else said this while representing him. If this is the mind of the president, good.

A president who once called us LAZY. He went further to tell us that having degree won't give us the life we always dream of.

General Buhari, we're not fighting you. All we ask is (1) for the laws of the land to be obeyed. (2) Find a way to curb the menace of SARS, Banditry and our dear police (3) Give us electricity. Talents, productivity depends on electricity unless your talent is in entertainment industry

I put those 3 (SARS, bandits and Police) in same sentence cause they are acting the same. Just that 2 is legal and the other is illegal.
