Baba should just be careful and stop financing recurrent expenditure... Cause I'm not hearing much of any capital expenditures.
The governor needs to be careful before plunging the state to a high debt risk in the long run.

You are not hearing much of capital expenditure, kwo?
Biko, tell me the few ones you've heard. I too want to start praising our governor.

Oyo State road are okay? Which one ? Anyway I don’t need to argue with you, it’s obvious your iq is below average

Please open your eyes. Don't allow unreasonable loyalty to Ajimobi become sensory and psychological cataracts to you. What achievement can Ajimobi refer to with people's needs as priority?

1. In the name of beautification of Ibadan, can you imagine how many millionaires and stable entrepreneurs he turned to paupers by unreasonably demolishing homes and businesses. Look around, was Ibadan not in a worse state before the end of his first term in office?

2. He under the guise of flimsy projects turned the state/public servants to beggars. Do you know how many months salaries he owed, no promotion, no leave bonuses/allowances, no employment, LAUTECH was paralyzed as a constituted authority. How would someone who begged for mandate tag himself the tltle of "constituted authority" before the very people who supposedly gave you the mandate.

3. Do you know how many homes and businesses he demolished for the sakes of roads he never intended to construct without any due consideration to the environmental and health impacts on the residents. Bashorun-Akobo-OjuIrin, Old Ife Road, etc are typical examples.

The essence of any government is primarily for the welfare of the people.

I am watching as it's too early to start praising the governor. I hope the civil servants will not turn to praise singers simply for receiving Christmas bouns this year. Prompt payment of workers' salaries is never a favour but an entitlement and component part of running costs of every viable and successful business organization.

That’s the problem with you guys is that you think development is all roads and bridges.. even a brainless governor can do that.. ,in fact they need stupid projects to make themselves richer...how has that affected people’s life personally.. right now Oyo road is okay.. good policies that will alleviate poverty and improve lives for generations is what we need.

And when put money in people hands in Form of their salary you are indirectly promoting commercial activities since this will increase their spending which lead to more job creation. Compare that to not paying salaries and diverting funds to over-bloated projects that only keep money in hands of few. The money that will eventually find it's way out of the country. This guy know what he is doing. Infrastructural projects will follow soon and I can trust his sense of judgement. I am not even from.Oyo State. I only schooled at UI.

He said Oyo state roads are very okay, Makinde need to forget infrastructure and focus on poverty alleviation, what could be more annoying than that ?
This governor is frustrating me,he is not doing anything he is just sharing money, doing unnecessary things while majority of incomplete projects ajimobi left behind are still on hold
He is just like present Osun state Governor,he is not doing anything either,he is just paying salaries and share the rest

You are not in oyo state ,

So you can't know

Imagine no tangible project on the list
He is investing money on e-warriors
Ajimobi constructed lot of roads and Bridges, this one is sharing the wealth
You people will come and be forming economists online. Talking about roads and bridges, can he initiate a project not included in the budget bearing in mind that he is still making use of the budget prepared by the former governor? Please mention 5 roads and bridges Ajimobi commissioned within the first 6months of his administration.

look at lagos even with the history of their governors, it is still a bonafide smelly and crowded ghetto

That's why he said stores and shops in areas where hawking is paramount will be made cheaper and affordable before planning to eradicate the hawkers.

I love his mentality on the street traders. Honestly, that's a good thinking. Taking one source of livelihood is the worst thing that can happen to anyman. Any government that can have the interest of the common man at heart will definitely go far! Keep it up sir! The spirit of the common man you have so considered will be with you, strengthen you and bring forth feats to your administration! Weldone sir!

Oshiomole had millions in the accounts before he became the governor. Do you know the the type of theivery NLC do?

fairfora:
Exactly. People really don't care how you spent their money. Just provide for them the basics...pay their salary promptly, build infrastructure and provide security...they would be carrying you like a king. Unfortunately, our politicians are super greedy. Imagine oshiomohle, a labour leader with only one khaki and with nothing in his account before he became governor , now owning a multi billion naira university in his hometown...where did he get the money from? Yet, people kept having accidents along benin auchi highway when he was governor. Armed robbers kept causing chaos...no police van, no security personnel positioned on the highway...he was just busy embezzling the security votes and same man is now shouting corruption here and there.
