fabolouz1: ...but every kobo profits goes into his pocket, right? Going by your logic, if he's not directly responsible, why was he forced to sell off his shares in Intel for not paying taxes? Every businesses are set up to generate profits, the management & staff should think of ingenious ways of self funding. Mind-boggling wages while evading taxes and denying you basic amenities. The fact that you have managers doesn't mean you are not responsible for your workers' salaries and well-being. Dude is a lawless, tax-evading and deadbeat crook. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

fabolouz1:he has the right to employ and sack workers that won't make the business grow, this shows he is not a powerful businessman like most of you claim. Peter Obi and Tinubu will make him close down his business anyday anytime with fierce competition. It was shown that he can't handle businesses when he was the VP, he monopolizes the NW and is still doing bad. He should learn from Dangote what monopoly is. Dangote who wants to monopolize the oil sector is going all out to build the best Refinery, Atiku is still into the 1960 radio broadcast thing 3 Likes |

If I personally financed a radio station for a year with my money and they can't start making enough money to even settle their salary talk less of profit..... I'll try another management or close it down......I'm I running NGO?, even some state governors has instructed their universities to start generating money in order to be paid salaries. |

Throwing away poltics... The truth is, anyone running TV or radio stations in Nigeria, the fact is it is a financially difficult proposition. In my opinion, advertising is the only way to get decent revenue, OR you use revenue from one's other businesses to fund the TV and radio station....which sounds nice...until you realize that the TV station is not making a profit. I suspect that TV stations like Channels, TVC, AIT and company surivie by being on DSTV...and also by doing poltical programming, as well as advertising. Abroad, TV stations survive by making content and selling it. Maybe Gotel should look at that model (BBC makes billions from doing that).Moving online too may help. |

Mathiasa: Why not hire competent people? Why enslave people when you are in no position to pay them? Why not lay off the workers if liability surpasses revenue consistently? How bad can a CEO of the only radio station in the North East get? 4 Likes 1 Share |

davidtemi: Where is the sense in creating the jobs if at the end of the day you can not pay your workers? People go to work to get paid, feed their families, pay school fees, pay rent, but food and basic necessities, not to go home with empty pockets. 3 Likes |

Bedwyr: This is tacit support for Atiku's incompetence. Why setup a company if you cannot understand the basic way in which it would function? Are you supposed to be the one telling Atiku about content for his station? Shouldn't that be a standard requisite for bis and any station? Why does he persist with keeping workers when he's incapable of paying them? Anyway, Timi Frank is the one enjoying it all. 2 Likes 1 Share |
