So you are supposedly in a relationship with someone or you both are admiring or crush friends trying to start one and suddenly someone comes along and things begin to get shaky. It seems your partner or friend crush wants to go the other way and you are having none of that, now you want to fight for what belongs to you or so you think.

In as much as love can sometimes mess with one’s head and get confusing. People actually know what they want and where they want to be. The fear of making the wrong decision and characteristics of interests involved may confuse one, but the feelings are always very clear, we always know who we love the most.

If there is one thing we should never fight for, it’s TRUE love. If it is true and it’s yours, there wont be any need to fight for it. You can fight off an intrusive person trying to force into your home or relationship. You can fight off the world, if they wont let you be with the one you love. You may fight to impress someone or get them to notice you, but you don’t fight for what has to come naturally. You don’t fight for someone to offer you what they are supposed to be happy and nervous offering you while praying that you be glad to accept it. If you already have it, you can get mad sometimes to show you do not appreciate intruders, but you do not struggle to keep something if it is yours. If you are struggling then maybe it was never meant for your keeps.

The point here is, know your worth to people and know your place in thier lives. True love is not won or kept with a bout, it comes freely with happiness and respect and when they give it to you, they wish you keep it forever. You can brawl with the world to stay away from it, you don’t brawl to have it or keep it. If they value you and truly love you, they would always choose you and put you first above all and if there is any need for concern or fear, they would reassure you and remind you that they have decided to die right in your arms. Dont let anyone promise you “A” and when it’s time for demonstrations, they do “B”. It is even possible for someone to call you “just Friends”, when you mean the world to them and they always show it in their attitude. It is also possible for some to call you “my love and my life” and deep inside they know you mean nothing to them. Know your true place and act accordingly, it’s not pride, its self respect!
