Back then in 2013,january first met me in a brothel....even though i tried to force my way out but the way the ashawo grasped me on bed could've easily made any man to forget an NNPC job interview...You see en,january 1st is just like every other day and as long as you embrace it with a clean heart,it doesn't really matter where you were and what you were doing as at that time. 2 Likes |

People tend to believe that the way you start the year is the way you will spend the whole year. This is however not always true. 5 Likes |

The best way is to usher in the new year in the company of your family and loved ones ... together with an alcoholic/non alcoholic beverage of choice. |

haryorbarmie83:Biblical wines had alchohol in them. Noah got drunk with wine because he took it in excess. Genesis 9:20-21 20. And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: 21.And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. John the baptist did not drink wine; Luke 1:13-15 13.But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John (the baptist) . 14.And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth. 15.For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb. Jesus drank wine but did not get drunk (I believe so because the bible did not state that Jesus was drunk) Matthew 11:18-19 18.For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil. 19.The Son of man(Jesus) came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children. Biblical wines had alchohol in them that was why excess of it was able to get Noah drunk and that was also why paul told Timothy to take little of it not only for infirmities sake but also for **STOMACH**sake so as not get drunken by it. 1 Timothy 5:23 23.Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities. Beer contains alchohol and biblical wines contain alchohol . From the below research biblical wines are more able to get one drunk more quickly than beer. Mack Mitchell at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Centre recently asked a group of 15 men to imbibe different drinks on different days. He made sure that the alcohol content was precisely matched to their body weight – and ensured they drank the alcohol at precisely the same rate, over a 20 minute period. Unsurprisingly, spirits entered the blood stream quickest, leading to the highest peak in blood alcohol content – followed by wine (reaching a peak 54 minutes after drinking) and then beer (which peaked 62 minutes after the drink was finished). In other words, a glass of wine will go to your head more quickly than a pint of beer. Conclusion:When taking beer or wines don't take it in excess they both have health benefits when not taken in excess. Note BEER AND WINE ARE DIFFERENT FROM STRONG DRINK. Strong drink consist of undiluted ethanol e.g spirits. Wines and beers have lesser ethanol than spirits(strong drinks). |

haryorbarmie83:stop all this double standards the teach u in church and other places sin is sin no matter how, when and were, u committed it if you can't do something on a particular place or time then don't do it anywhere anytime, God doesn't count day or night neither January nor December, think about this word in the bible, a thousand year is like a day in the eyes of lord , am not alcohol type but if i am i will drink anytime i feel like |
