It is due to lack of planning. Proper preparation prevents poor performance, whatever there is crisis, it means wisdom in that area is not in place.

1. Savings
Until you save, you are not safe. Savings helps you to take up opportunities should that present themselves to you.

Even Joseph told Pharaoah to start saving the food stuff in preparation for the impending famine. And Joseph gathered 20% of all the crops of the land and saved them.

Start saving 20% of all your earnings this year after your tithes and as you give your offerings.

I tell you the truth. Without savings, you are not safe.

2. Investments
Savings is good but investment is better.

You can save and bank inflation eats up your savings little by little.

Until you invest, you cannot have large interest.

Invest in assets and not liabilities.

Invest in real estates, agriculture, ICT, shares etc.

But remember only the saved money can guarantee you using it for investment.
