Well they killed saadaam, found out there were no nuclear weapons and plunged the country into a civil/terrorist/religious war).

The US killed the Iranian minister while he was inside Iraq. They couldn't attack him in his country Iran cos they have a missile defence system.

Now Russia is offering to give Iraq some help by selling them the defence system so they can protect themselves from this war america wants to bring to their land AGAIN. No American ally will ever sell iraq a defence system. Dt would be a huge statement against America.

anyways to break it down, Trump asked Iraqi prime minister to summon Suliemani for a peace meeting in Iraq(since Suliemani is very respected in Iraq for fighting ISIS) on arrival after checking customs at the airport and entering Iraqi provided convoy, he was murdered by a US drone , this made Iraqi feel betrayed
