To start with, CVM is one of the reputable companies around for shipping and procurement. However, your question was timely for me to register my opinion about their procurement policy. You should go ahead in using them in making payment if you want some level of convenience. The last time I checked, they have procurement schemes. $100 for 3months. That is, you can procure many times within this stipulated period with that amount. In addition, if you just want to make one time payment, 5% will be charged. Hitherto, a 5% used to be charged for procurement below $100 and a flat rate of $5 for payments above $100. This for me, was a fair deal. MY OPINION Use CVM if you will make frequent procurement within 3 months Use CVM if the transaction is one below $100 and slightly above. Don't use them for large transaction (my opinion)because this will save more Money. I wanted to buy $4000 goods- a one time transaction. %5 of that is $200, so I opted for the $100 per 3 months scheme even though it was a one time transaction after all $200 is higher than $100. However, for a transaction of $500, its better to pay the 5%. By and large, I hope they can leave it at 5% below $100 and flat $5 for above $100. This used to be meaningful to me. From my observation, permit me to say that their strength is also their weakness. How? They are one of the best around with some level of good structure and they have a lot of customers at their beck and call. However, they have a bruised reputation on late delivery as a result of too many customers and fairly bad customer service. Contrastingly, some people made some positive remarks about them including me. They served me well when I used them. I decided to use them after weighing both reviews (positive and negative) because I felt they are relatively reliable. To sum up, considering that most shipping companies in Nigeria have one or two constant bad reviews, I urge you to make use of their service. You can run away totally from shipping wahala. Today they are good .......tomorrow they mess up. shellraizer64: |
