To say you love someone is to express your feelings (whatever they are) to them. To say you TRULY love someone and mean it, is to accept that person as they are, wholeheartedly and unconditionally, envisaging possible problems in the future but accepting to go through it with that person.

Men and women love and show love slightly differently. When a woman is in love, she shows it by being less hostile, more accommodating, more affectionate, greater urge to communicate or talk, caring for the slightest things and being more expressive. Men on the other hand can be less expressive but more interested in doing things with thier partners, being more protective, being more romantic and listening a little more.

However the difference, when someone claims to love you, it should reflect more in thier attitude and actions rather than words. As sweet as love is, it can also be difficult and messy sometimes. More so, falling in love with someone’s good and attractive qualities is easy, the challenge is falling also for thier bad sides. That’s where all the heat and complain comes.

A man who claims to truly love you as a woman will stay, never back out, never give up on you no matter how bad life puts you down, what the situation is or how difficult or messy things have turned. A woman who claims to love you as man will have a million reasons to be angry and hate you. She will feel hurt and tired of how life is throwing you both around. She will feel bad about all the things she desire that you can’t give, but will never leave you and never stop supporting you in every little way she can. So never let anyone deceive you with “I love you”, if they do, they would have probably proved it.
