Y not give innoson the specification of the trucks and they will get it done perfectly.

Patronize made in naija products na.

10,000 trucks from innoson will have gone a long way.

Nigeria needs to be restructured into regions or be split into 2 or 3 nations.

Logic has clearly left the country. It seems as if we are now the children of a lesser god. We've clearly entered into the dark tunnel with no light.

How could he possibly concede that

10,000 trucks? Probably added to tens of thousands of existing trucks in operation. The company will fare better by investing in other means of transportation, like rail links.

Imagine the number of jobs this purchase will add to Indonesian economy. This is the main reason Nigerian graduates are unemployed, they lack the technical capability to meet up demands for modern civilization.

The article is very confusing. The company is already in Nigeria, they will assemble the trucks in Nigeria basically Dangote just created a big competition for Innoson, so Innoson has to hustle up or else he will be left behind.

Dangote is hooked to China, Sino(whatever company) is the one that must have inserted a clause for him to buy from them in one of their procurement contracts, Chinese people are very smart, it is now up to Innoson to sharpen up and really penetrate the market.

This him fight with Nigerian banks is stupid, he should be making extremely cheap vehicles and partnering with all Nigerian banks on how they can provide cheap and easy financing for Nigerians to buy his vehicles, so he would have saturated the market before these new Asian vehicle manufacturers make him close shop.

I will have to verify this news and if it is truly true, that is a great news for us living here in Indonesia.
As I know Indonesia doesn't export cars/trucks but maybe there is policy change and it is a welcomed
developments. Indonesia has sweet and beautiful new brand cars like Toyota Rush and Mitsubishi Eclipse which
most of us will be happy to send to Nigeria instead of sending money to relatives in America to buy us cars.

Thank you for this analysis. We need more manufacturing or assembling or subsidiary plants in the country to create jobs for the youth, even if they are going to work as a manual labor, not the skilled workers. Because most Nigerian graduates lack the technical skills required by these companies.

...and the North where he comes from has the highest poverty and illiteracy rates. He should commit part of his resources to projects that will make a difference in their lives. There's so much dependence on foreign donors while our rich flaunt their wealth which is mostly rooted in undue advantage and privileged circumstances.

Of course he does his bit but a lot more needs to be done instead of simply concentrating his efforts on preserving the family wealth as he said recently.
