Imo State, South-East Nigeria is currently charged with undefined expectations regarding what the verdict of the Supreme Court will be in the petitions against the election of Gov.Emeka Ihedioha.

Before the announcement of the final results, Imo State Governorship election had been turbulent which led to the temporal suspension.

At the announcement of the results, all the major contestants rejected the results and headed for the courts to "reclaim their stolen mandate".

However, all of them eventually lost their petitions both at the Tribunal and Court of Appeal, pending that of the Supreme Court.

5. The Disqualification Uche Nwosu: The decision of the Supreme Court to nullify the candidature of Action Alliance's Uche Nwosu has obviously brought Senator Uzodinma close to the Imo Seat of Power. Any judgment which spells doom for the appeal of APGA's Ararume may swing favour to the side of Senator Uzodinma.

The alleged exclusion of some results: Senator Hope Uzodinma is arguing that if results from 366 polling booths out of the approved 388 where he won are added to the official results, he will have the highest number of votes and emerge as the winner. You are a jester, where you in during any of the election, Everytime you will be talking out of Sense, let me tell you, most of you who blindly and unreasonably make certain nasty comments, I was at the court all through the cases at the tribunal, it was fun and was just like where children were playing during the Cross examination of APC witnesses, even Hope Uzodinma was acting movies at dock, they couldn't even defend those form EC08, they came to court with, a fake form that had no colume for total number of valid votes and voided votes, inec told him point blank in court that those materials are not theirs, that is even why they told him he had no case and can't be partner of such documents, that is why inec did not discuss that during cross examination of inec witness in that tribunal, so that matter has been struck out a very long time ago, I don't even see that as threat to Ihedioha.
