all those that commented just make it based on the ethnic, geographical point of view. Everyone knows its government established Answeresings. even the hisbah and the co you people are mentions is against the constitution, and even in the north, only a few states recognise it. So its illegal want it or leave it...

Can you quote the section of the constitution that made regional watch group illegal?

Does Nigeria police force have the personnel and resource to effectively policed all the local government in Nigeria?

Answers to the aforementioned question will help you to see why people view this differently

How can such a security outfits be formed in the first place without seeking for Federal Government approval.
the federal government is aware according to what LegendHero made me to understand few days ago.

Also, the Northern Muslims are doing everything in their right to claim that Hisbah right to stand but Amotekun does not. They claim it is different.

Why are you people complaining ?sey anything that the Apc govt says is always right ? You guys are so blind that even when it involve security of lives and properties you still insist ur sey baba is on top of his game . Then why are you guys now forming regional security so as to protect ur people ? Sey una don tire to play politic with human lives abi? Now this ur sai baba that cannot even protect his citizens & at the same time looking the other way when his kind men goes about destroying farms , killing and raping people all across the country and occupying their lands . Now he is telling us not to protect ourselves from these monsters with but rely on the already inefficient and compromised security we already have.
However these Fulani carry sophisticated guns but no one is being arrested .sey u guys are beginning to realized the situation on ground . Yet some fools would rather fight their own tribe for these people who know how to protect themselves even if there are monsters among them. South west(Apc blind followers) u guys should open ur eyes and stop this blind loyalty for people that do not give a hoot about u.

Yoruba governors should come out with strong voice against federal government decision, you have right to protect your people, if you fail to do this as a governor, you have no reason to be there.
Yoruba political leaders should not let buhari and his terrorist brothers Corner them with 2023, forget about it and fight it out now or remain silent.

Nobody voted out of malice...Goodluck Jonathan was a monumental fück-up, though if he had gone to Bourdillon he would've survived lol grin

He was so stupid, he didn't even know how to rig an election he organised by himself so he trusted the Hausa-Fulani in his corner and they betrayed him.

See, the way the civil service has been colonised by the Hausa-Fulani, there is nothing they collectively set out to achieve in the political sphere in this country, that they cannot achieve.

Amotekun is here to stay, the baby men of the east will only continue to wail in pain.

We are not looking at only regional police force in the West, we also exploring joint economic forum, rail development among the six southwestern States and our other economic initiative to make use self-sufficient from the federal government control.

The young Yoruba generation will demand for more restrictions of all ungrateful economic immigrant from both the North and the south. We'll be strict with employment into our civil service, allocation of land will be based on your loyalty to the Yoruba cause. The time of the enemy within the camp will be a thing of the past
You do realize it's a north controlled government that banned your operation and not some niggas in onitsha hustling for their daily bread and then come to tease u on NL that's your problem. I'm from the SS. The earlier u realize the fulani is your main enemy and not the SE or SS the better for u

Rubbish. These northern people really take us so small.

The guts.

The same fanatics have unleashed hisbah on everyone in the north. Yet they say the yorubas can't have a militia. Them dey mad

The interpretation of the law is not a northern matter; you governors did not do their homework, they did not check the constitution and clearly over stepped their executive boundaries; despite the array of lawyers they would have had at their behest - pls do not blame northerners for their blunder.

Do not also confuse Hisbah which is entirely different, set by relevant states to enforce religious and moral codes against Amotekun currently set up by the SW regional states as a defence outfit - which (defence) clearly fall within the exclusive list and therefore outside the jurisdiction of state governments.

It is purely a legal issue and not a regional matter - if in doubt, let your governors challenge it in court.

What is the similarity between a group agitating for a referendum and another group settling up a security force to curb criminality in their domain?

I am not excusing those praising the federal government for killing Ipob because I believe every nationality within the artificial state of Nigeria deserve to have a say if they will continue to remain in this entity. the truth is, the majority of Nigeria youth are delusional and always fail to see the bigger picture. No Yoruba should go against Ipod agitation because of their struggle has nothing to do with us.

No, they are coming to enthrone Hausa/Fulani supremacy, to reposition the security agencies by sacking all competent hands and replace them with their kinsmen in order to drive their ethnic domination of the south. The Fulani herdsmen will be armed and encouraged to slaughter us with impurity and their masters will protect them.

“They are coming to ensure that my people are enslaved forever. Those who do not believe me will soon see it happen before their eyes"
Nnamdi KANU, 2015.

Some afonjas we have in the South made this happen quickly. They are paying for it more than the rest of us.

I am a Yoruba who hates Buhari`s guts, but I must confess Kanu was a prophet.

you keep the southern borders shut yet those of the north are open, you allow security outfit for north yet you declare the one formed by sw illegal, this doesn't look right at all.why are they scared of the sw trying to secure themselves,?

Jonathan came ahead of his time. Nigeria is a big conspiracy. He believed in rule of law and all democratic tenets, yet that singular characteristics made him appear weak before many Nigerians, they wanted a strong man like Buhari and they have one now. He believed in election where votes will count and not where rigging is a means of attaining political power, South West conspired with the North to make sure he was rigged out. He did away with Godfathers like Obasanjo, South West listened to Bourdillion and the rest is history. What has Bourdillion secured for the West since Buhari came onboar to show for their support for the caliphate? Nothing. He didn't know how to rig because in Jonathan's dream of Nigeria, election should not be about rigging, it should be about who the masses wanted. He trusted the North because he was an ideal President that embraced everyone fellow countrymen. Today you have the President you wanted. A man that sees Nigeria from the prism North and nothing else. Conclusion: Enjoy Buhari. 2023 is 3 years away.
