Alh. Yusuf Fatai Oko Oloyun was later laid to rest in his home town.

May Allah forgive his sins and grant him Jannah
Amin

It's too late for this kind of prayer. You should have tell him to repent before he dies. There is no repentance and forgiveness in the grave, you can only repent and receive forgiveness while you are alive. Heb. 9 vs 27

May God sustain and console the ones he left behind in Jesus name, amen

It is so disrespectful how his corpse is being handled.

Show some decorum to the dead, let religion not be used as pretence to encourage stinginess.
Simple casket, they can't buy.

See, they even wrapped him up like fufu.
Can you please tell me the important of casket?

I don't think Oko Oloyun believed in that. Otherwise, why would he be running Ponzi Scheme knew fully well that he was going to defraud people and that people would get hurt?

Chief Samuel Adedoyin (Doyin cubes)
Pascal Dozie
Alex dudu Yemi
Otunba Sebanjo

Etc
But the uneducated ones do not

I think it has to do more with international exposure.

Don't be surprised if 80% of those you mentioned wake up each morning and engage in one form of exercise before beginning their day.

I don't see Oko Oloyun as falling into that category.

You're entitled to your own opinion, by the way who told you Jesus can forgive sin? do you have any evidence of that? even Jesus (son of Marriam) said, he himself cannot do nothing by himself .

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 1;16-17

Does the size, quality or beauty of a man's casket has anything to do with how God will judge him? And did u love the man more than he had loved himself by subscribing to a religion that treats its followers with absolute equality and simplicity ? Don't cry more than the dead or the bereaved. And by the way, respect or disrespect is relative. What is disrespect to you is honor in the eyes of others. Understanding and accepting this fact is what is called tolerance. Learnt to be tolerant of the ways of others.
