Good one.
Re: Living in The Dark (18+) by SeyiDominion: 8:09am On Mar 21
“Hello, Jane,” Tayo greeted. “You’re still around?”

It was obvious that she was around, wasn’t it?
“Yes, but I’ll soon be through.”

Tayo had asked Jane out before, but she had declined. She had told him she didn’t date married men. She had wondered why he could not stick to his wife.

Now, somehow, from her tone, he felt like asking her again. Something told him her answer would be different, this time around.

“Are you very busy? I could take you somewhere for refreshments, if you don’t mind. There’s no harm in relaxing after a day’s hard work.”

Now that Femi was out of the way, Jane felt there was no need she gave him the cold shoulders again. But there was still one more encumbrance: he was married.

“What about your wife? Will she not raise an eyebrow if she catches you with a lady?”

He chuckled. “Forget about my wife. She won’t catch me, anyway.”

Jane hesitated.

He could see her weakening resistance. “Oh come on. I’ll only buy you some drinks.”

He seemed sincere enough, so she shrugged.

“Okay.”

Tayo nodded. He waited for her to finish up what she was doing. After that, they left the office.

“I know a joint not far away where we could have a nice time,” he said.

“Okay.”

He took her to the joint which was already brimming with customers.

“So, what drinks will you like to have, Jane?”

“Ah, any non-alcoholic drink will be okay.”

He ordered malt drinks for her and a bottle of beer for himself. He also ordered for two plates of goat meat pepper soup.

“Do you enjoy your job, Jane?” he asked.

She nodded. “But I will still like to go for further education. I’ll like to go for my HND.”

“Yeah, that will be good.”

She smiled and tried to relax.

“And what are your hobbies?” he asked.

“I like to listen to music.”

It was his turn to nod. “And what will you consider to be good music?”

She told him and he laughed softly.

“Well, my kind of music is cool,” he said. “I like to dance easily. You won’t see me twerking or encouraging it.”

Throughout the time they had together, he behaved like a good conversationalist and a complete gentleman.

About an hour later, she signified her intention to leave the place.

“I must go home now so I could get home and cook on time,” she said.

“You live with your parents?”

“No. I live with a friend.”

“I can take you to a restaurant if you don’t mind.”

She shook her head. “Let me not bother you again. Actually, with what I’ve taken here, it’s not likely I will eat much this evening.”

“Where do you live?”

“Agege.”

“I live at Ogba.”

They left the joint and strolled to where she would take a bus to Agege.

“Good night and take care of yourself,” he said, grinning at her.

“Thanks, Tayo. Goodnight.”

He waved her off. Thereafter, he took an Ogba-bound bus and headed home. Some forty minutes, he was inside his apartment. His wife was at home, preparing for the night duty she would soon go for.

“Hello, honey,” he greeted her.

Mary gave him a welcome kiss.

“How was the work?” she asked.

“Oh, fine. It was hectic, but we thank God.”

He went to the bedroom to change to casuals. After Mary had given him some minutes, she came to meet him in the bedroom.

“Honey, there’s a news I’ve been waiting to tell you.”

He looked at her sharply. “I hope it is good news.”
“Sure, it is.”

He smiled. “So, what is it?”

He looked at her sharply. “I hope it is good news.”

“Sure, it is.”

He smiled. “So, what is it?”

She stared at him before blurting out: “I’m twelve weeks pregnant.”

His eyes bugged out. “Really?”

She nodded. “Sure. I did the pregnancy test and finally, I’m going to be a mother.”

He came to where she was standing to give a bear hug and a long kiss. “Oh, that’s lovely. That’s great.

That’s the news I’ve been waiting to hear.” After being married for about two years, it was indeed a heart-warming news.
He was indeed happy. “I hope it’s going to be a boy.”
She wrinkled her nose. “Does it matter? A child is a child.”
He disagreed with her. “All the same, I want a boy first.”
It was a stereotype answer from a Nigerian man. Mary felt there was no need she argued with him over that.
“The almighty God will determine that,” she philosophized.

Femi got to the Platinum Circle Club about seven in the evening. It was his regular joint. Apart from relaxing there, his friend, Alfred, was the Manager of the place.

It was therefore not out of place for Alfred to offer him drinks on the house. Femi made straight for the latter’s office.

“Alfred bobo,” Femi greeted. “Na you face be this?”

“Hey, Femo. Long time.”

They shook hands.

“How’s everything going?” Femi asked.

“Fine. Everything is cool. Good to see you. So, how’s work?”

“Fine.” Femi sat on one of the seats opposite Alfred. “How’s the clubbing business, here, too?”

“It’s not that bad. Man must survive. It’s good that you’re here,” Alfred added. “I was even thinking of calling you just before you came. There’s something I think you might be interested.”

Femi became attentive. “What’s that?”

Alfred nodded. “There’s this friend who just came from America. He needs a guy like you for a task.”

“What task?”

“He wants to do some shooting. It’s a documentary or something. He will instruct you on what to do.”

“Film recording? That will be no problem. I’m in.”

Femi worked as a video camera man for a private television station and was always thrilled about film recording.

“He’ll soon be around. I’ll let you know and connect you two.”

“Oh, that’ll be fine.”

About forty minutes later, a young man in his mid-thirties was introduced to Femi.

“Oh, that’ll be fine.”

About forty minutes later, a young man in his mid-thirties was introduced to Femi.

“This is Sammy, the guy I told you about. He’s a Nigerian based in the U.S.A and he just came around for vacation. Sammy, this is Femi, the one that is a genius in handling anything camera.”

Femi and Sammy shook hands. “He is surely overrating me,” Femi told Sammy modestly.

“Oh, I understand. It’s a pleasure to know you. Alfred has surely said a lot about you. Let’s go to the bar, order for drinks and talk things over.”

Femi nodded at Alfred as he and Sammy went to the bar. Sammy ordered for a bottle of fine champagne and some grilled barbecue.

The two men settled down to enjoy the classy drink and the spicy meats.

“Yes,” Sammy began. “As Alfred has hinted you, I intend to do some shooting and I need a good hand to handle the video camera. The cameras are high definition and high resolutions digital cameras.”

Femi nodded. “I can handle any camera. What documentary are you recording?”

Sammy lifted the glass and took some sips before he replied. “It’s not documentary per se. Let’s just say I’m planning to record sex scenes or sex video.”

Femi was thrown off balance. “Sex video? I thought Alfred mentioned documentary.”

“This one too is a kind of documentary,” Sammy said and laughed at his joke.

“Well, the fact is it has to do with recording of sex scenes and everything is indoor. The total recording time should be a couple of hours. Of course, there will be some editing afterwards.”

Femi listened keenly as Sammy explained the modus operandi of the recording and those who would be involved. He further told him how much he would rake in.

“So, my dear Femi,” Sammy concluded, “are you in this or not?”

Mary was at the bus stop before she remembered that she left the power bank she borrowed from a colleague, Nurse Tessy in the house. It was in the hand bag she had used the previous evening.

She didn’t like giving excuses, so she decided to go back home to pick it. Nurse Tessy had a sharp tongue, and Mary would not want any embarrassment.

To hasten the process, she took a bike to her residence. She asked the bike man to wait while she quickly picked the item she came to pick. When she entered the flat, she could see that the television was on but nobody was watching it in the sitting-room.

She made for the bedroom she shared with her husband. On opening the bedroom door, the sight that beheld her was shocking.

Lying on her back on the bed was Martha, her sister. She had removed her skirt and was only in pantie. Even the pantie was pulled down to her knees. Her top and bra were off. Tayo was over her, kissing and sucking her boobs. At the same time, his right fingers were busy on her pussy, probably exciting the clits.

“What! What … what is going on here?” Mary bellowed.

They were caught pants down, so to say. Pants down and bra off. Martha looked mortified while Tayo looked like he had just seen a ghost.

The two of them were, to say the least, bewildered.

“Oh my God!” Mary went on. “Tayo, what’re you doing with Martha?”

It was a question that needed no answer. It was a question he found too complex to answer.

“I can’t believe this.” Mary moved to the bedside. Her tone and countenance showed anger, indignation and bitterness. “You, Martha, of all people. How could you do this?”

Without hesitation, she started to rain slaps on her younger sister.

Tayo moved quickly. He too was half naked and the first thing he did was to pulled up his trousers. He then moved to prevent Mary from assaulting Martha the more.

“Calm down, Mary. Calm down.”

Mary turned her anger to him. “How dare you ask me to calm down. How could you two do this to me? How could you involve in this abominable act?”

If not that he quickly held her hands, she would have given him some slaps.

“Please calm down,” he pleaded again.

Sorry I don't understand. What Okadabooks do is to send email to writers to notify them of the download of a book. The writer doesn't know who the buyer is. How do I confirm what you ask me to do?

Secodly, what will be the essence of the confirmation?
