So who are the original inhabitants of Yoruba land today in Nigeria? igbos?

Moving back doesn't mean going back Benin but simply moving back to the root. To where you guys rightly belonged.

That's the right step to go.

Your kiths and kind locked out by border closure shouldn't suppose to be..

So moving "back" to where we already "occupy"?

Does that makes sense to you?

Stop feigning Ignorance to simple message. Your empire. involve both today Benin republic.

But today in another Nation or country.

Yorubas should move to return to their once collapsed empire and rebuild it again.

Nehemiah did so after years spent under foreign rule.

So if our empire includes parts of today Benin republic, We should abandon our lands in Nigeria and move where?

Before Yoruba empire ended was there anything like Nigeria. Is it on same lands there empires were and waxed.

You're not leaving but returning back to old system of ruling yourself and reuniting with your kiths and kind in Benin republic and Togo.

So was Nigeria created out of thing Air or what?

Anyways, Yorubas never wanted to be split into different countries in the first place, we were forced into this union.

So our Reunion with our brothers will be welcomed.

Sky means northernly direction, dont be obtuse smiley

You wouldn't include a sky narrative if your migration was from another point.

Pls, this Ode-Usen / Ufe kekere that the Okitipupas claim they came from sounds cunningly similar to Usen town in Edo state. Funny enough, their Oba there is called Elawure. It is in Edo after Okada town or after Ifon/Okeluse.

Is it the same one?

This pure land grabbing. When did Yorubas arrived delta state.

Also I didn't see Edo or Bini here which under full circumstances must be here.

Scholes you did a nice work here but add Edos/binis here. They are part of greater Yoruba tribe.

If Delta is there then ,Edo should be there and thus indisputable.

Make your research sound without fear of reaction.

Then all of you should think of when to move back to Benin republic and Togo.

Only the Bini monarchy & certain Bini chiefs have Yoruba origin. Before the Yoruba encounter, Edo folks existed & after the encounter, the Edo folks continued to exist. Edo is Edo, they're not Yoruba.

Ibadan sprung up organically as an IDP refugee camp catering to fleeing Yorubas from across the empire owing to the Fulani invasion .

History shows only the king & few chiefs are of Yoruba origins. Only a part of the political & art history of Edo ties with that of Yoruba. There's no need to appropriate.

At a later point, yes but these fleeing groups came to a city founded & administered by the Ife & an admixture of non-Ife Yoruba led by Lagelu the first Maye.
