It means don't speak big English, pidgin might be better.

Nigerian English is preferred.

You can grow in Nigeria and still don't know how to speak pidgin... I've met a lot of people, even grown ups that can't speak the pidgin. English

Not everyone can speak pidgin... It depends on the area in Nigeria you grew up.. For example, Ajegunle- pidgin is their language in fact it is their own English... PH/WARRI too is another example...

But grammar is not big English. Big English words are vocabularies.

I think he simply means don't speak the English language.
Grammar means speaking correct English language without blunders.
