The ideas that will propel you to greatness are those aimed at serving or helping others. These ideas take you further because they are designed to be answers to people's questions; they solve problems. In essence, your idea ought to be a gift to humanity. An idea is most effective when it seeks to serve others.

The late motivational speaker, Zig Ziglar, said: "You can get everything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want." This statement captures the essence of ideas. When you engage the true design of an idea and serve others well, you will in turn get what you want.

2. WHEN AN IDEA IS DONE, IT REVEALS A HIGHER VERSION OF YOU

An idea will change you; it will refine you. There are levels of refinement that comes from doing an idea. Who you were at the conception of the idea is different from the person that you become when you've done the idea. The process of making an idea happen will stretch you such that you're won't return to the way you used to be. Hence, ideas are ultimately growth tools.
