Good morning Sir, It doesn't really affect but may affect his chances of learning how to walk very fast. So reduce the rate of carrying your pup and let him walk more often !!!

This is the kind of thread that needs to be on the frontpage not all these romance, snake shits
Habaaa!!!, its not like that Sir, I believe there are criteria that need to be met which this thread has not possibly met for this thread to enter front page. Hopefully this criteria would be met, so that this thread would have the chance to help a lot of pet owners. Thanks so much for your concern, really appreciate

good morning sir , my female Caucasian has been battling with mange for a really long time now (over 12 months ) , we have used ivermectin, amitrax , kernel oil , ivermectin tablets , mange cream like charmil and the rest . The mange is severe behind her forelimb , like the hard kind of mange ...but it appears as rashes on her belly . Her furs aren't even growing well .

Lol my complaints is really long though but I will try to make it brief .

So it started when she was about 4 months , I wasn't at home then but it wasn't even severe . We started treatment immediately , she recovered for a while B4 it started again , this is how it continued for 8 months : on and off . We fumigated the compound and it still didn't change anything . The funny thing is my two other dogs haven't been treated for mange but they all play together like always !! 3 months ago , someone suggested that it might be an allergy , that I should stop giving her the locally made meal cause it contains soya bean , I stopped and she really recovered , she was in like the best shape in a long while ; she gained lots of weight , her furs were getting better , no sign of mange on her body again expect the hard one behind her forelimb ( even that one was clearing off when I started using charmill ) .
But now , it's back ! And she's so slim , thin and she eats a lot. Like I feed her 2-3 times daily .

I don't even know what to do anymore , I she gone to the vet multiple times already . Tbh I thj k I might just sell her off or give her up for adoption and focus on my other dogs . Sometimes I think the mange is in her blood or something lol

Good morning sir, and I'm really sorry and I promise to give this case my utmost attention. We would be aggressive in our treatment plan. First I would need pictures for my own observation and then I would give you my number for further consultation. Let me assure you that God willing all would be well, please put your mind at rest.

Good morning Sir, just simply put your mind at rest, its not an issue, it would resolve on its own. If the pain is becoming unbearable, you can simply administer a mild over the counter analgesic, so sorry for the late response.

I'm so sorry for the way I responded Sir, I was in a haste and was very busy. I'm also so sorry for the loss of your puppies. You can clean your kennels very well with detergent and finally with bleach. Avoid visitors and strangers coming in or bringing their dogs to your kennel. Also ensure you avoid stray dogs into your compound and also ensure the cleaning is done regularly. I hope this helps sir

Although dog training is not my specialty and as you suggested, you may still need to see a professional dog trainer, but I'll advice you stop beating your dog and rather "recondition" your dog through positive reinforcement by encouraging obidience with reward. Remember as I said earlier, a professional dog trainer would be in a better position to advice you. I hope this helps

I'm so sorry sir, but I won't want you to take a risk. I'll advice you take your pup to a Vet ASAP. Meanwhile, keep your pup hydrated.

First of all, calm yourself down. Then clean the area with a mild antiseptic using cotton wool. After that apply Gentian Violet (GV) on the area in the morning and night, God willing you would see a positive outcome. Pm me if you encounter any difficulty. I hope this helps!!!
