Of course! They don't trust this present government as well. I really love the condition and the agreement signed. The money must be used for the good of the people and entire nation.

Its very shameful that another country will bring such conditions before repatriating our own money, it shows they don't trust the dullard's claim on fighting corruption.

This US govt don’t know the type of bigoted and crafty crooks they’re dealing with! It’s very easy to claim the money has been sunk into those three projects and they’ll go behind their backs and use it for something else....or pump most of it into one or two regions while giving a pittance to the third!

Anytime they want to talk of projects in the south-east, it’s always second Niger bridge...second Niger bridge! That’s their ‘get-out-of-jail’ card when asked what they’re doing in the south-east! Very easy to claim billions upon billions is being spent on this bridge...money from SWF...money from Abacha loot....money GEJ admin’ paid as gov’t counterpart funds....all into second Niger bridge that will be tolled by Julius Berger!

God bless you brother. You see the deceit and highly divisive and tribalistic government of APC.

A bridge and road which isn't up to 10km.

Wicked souls (spits!!)

Being a nigerian is not your problem, but illiteracy is. The conditions imposed aren't peculiar to nigeria, but are applied by western countries for repatriation of stolen funds. Those countries, including US, are accomplices in the whole transction by allowing foreign thieves to bring in these finds in the first place.

The thief is the one that stole and took to another country, more than the country it's taken to. US has enough trouble dealing with its own thieves. There is no budget in the US to chase your own thieves. That should be your own problem. That should be in your own budget. Do funds stolen from Nigeria adversely affect the living standard of the Americans? No. It therefore shouldn't worry American government a lot since their oath of allegiance is to the Anerican people. But funds stolen from Nigeria inflicts nigerians with poverty and Sub-human existence, How does it bother your ethnic, tribal and religious demigods in power?

They should not give Nigeria the money , they should bring the money and invest it in something that all Nigerians will benefit from

It's only this present American govt that knows our govt is full of crooks. They don't pretend like it's not happening. If Trump wins 2nd term, who knows, he might really do something about African leadership. It's getting insane.

"Do funds stolen from Nigeria adversely affect the living standard of the Americans? No" - This is subjective. Stolen funds( we're talking of billions of dollars here)stashed away in western countries oil their economy and that's why they make it difficult to get these monies back. And even if you manage to get extradition agreement, you'll find it screwed in favour of the country releasing the fund (e.g by releasing the money in tranches over a lond period of time or tying it to projects awarded to companies linked to those countries). Stolen funds kept in US benefit US economy in a big way.

The same people praising this US condition on the return of OUR money are the same who favour everything the US does on the global stage.

How does the US have the effrontery to tell another country how to utilize their money ? And people are cheering this invasion of our sovereignty with gusto ? If you're frustrsted with your govt, vent at them, organise and get rid of them. Encouraging another govt to dictate how OUR monies are utilised is just dumb. Besides, They have been holding that money for a decade and a half. Where is the interest ? Of course they've partaken of the looting.

We don't need american approval on how to run OUR country and anyone supporting the US's diktats should not complain when they foist another Buhari on Nigerians.

Buhari has seen it all in public service. He was a minister, governor, GOC, head of state, PTF chairman and Two term civilian President. If he's a thief and he stole public monies in his over forty years as public servant, how come even a local government chairman is richer than him? Where are his mansions, private jets, oil Wells, expensive cars, companies, shares that almost all ex Nigerian presidents and other politicians have

If they don't trust buhari, why would they release the money, buhari is not the only person in the government, I hope you know that. Those that will loot the money are not even known to the public, reason for this transparency measure by the USA

Imagine them giving N1m to each citizen & give the balance to the government. Just 5m$ from that money to 70-80% Nigerians.

The government takes $303

So you think Nigerian government cannot exchange upto 1million Nigerian account numbers with fake one that will belong to them?

What I expected you to say it that American should come build a reliable power supply project for us with the money.

They will build it with the money on our behave as our government are not trusted.

Shame on our government.
