Sanwo Olu is finally proving to be the drug addict the erstwhile governor accused him of.

Like his seniors at the federal level, he is proving to be a clueless, senile and unfortunate human. The saddest part of this whole thing is, his godfather, has Lagos by the balls and come next election, as long as he gets the nod of his godfather, thousands of senseless Lagosians would still queue up to vote him.
My bother it's called herd mentality aka zombi ooO Zombi

It depends on what you are looking for..Enugu, kwara, Port Harcourt and so many others, I for one don't fancy Lagos and I can't live there

You know I've been to Woji and Gra2 in Port Harcourt and no I didn't like it.

The only thing good about Enugu are probably their cheap houses. I heard two bedroom flat is 420 K at their poshest location (forgotten the name).

My guy stayed one year at Kwara to pursue his basketball dream and came back broke. I'll pass all three states. Thank you.

are you an illiterate? what does the app have to do with Lagos state government? how much is uber paying to the Lagos state government as Tax abi nah uber construct the roads ? causing gridlocks everywhere and making money without paying Tax? who does that?
yes i am an illiterate, if you have brains enough you will know that the government can collect any form of taxes or duties directly from the company on behalf of the drivers, if you can comprehend enough you will know from my post that you quote that, uber all the information about the driver transactions unless the uber goes offline.
If you are so literate you will know that all vehicles are licensed by the state authorities, which you have to renew every year, that is for the roads already, if you are enlightened enough, you will know governance is not about making profit , but about providing conducive environment for the populace with what can be reasonably generated.

I wish them best of luck catching uber drivers, how they will get to know who and who is a uber driver is beyond me.

This is akin to radio and television levies by local governments, an archaic bylaw that should be scrapped due to advancement in modern technology,

Man Makes law, not the law that makes man.

That LASDRI License is nothing, but sheer fraud. angry

Once you go to a driving school, and take all the relevant tests and you pass, you can apply for a national drivers license, and it will be issued to you. sad

Your valid national driver's license, qualifies you to drive in all states of the federation. undecided

So is the Lagos Driving Institute trying to tell us that their own license is superior to the national driver's license which is controlled and issued under the auspices of the FRSC? shocked
actually its the states that are suppose to be producing drivers license, the national driving license is by FRSC is not suppose to be, we run a federal system, the military messed it all up.

Then let them scrap the one produced by the FRSC. Why this duplication of irrationality?

We now know the script behind the Okada ban. It has nothing to do with insecurity. It has absolutely nothing to do with the silly and irresponsible conspiracy theory about some fictitious Boko Haram planting their operatives in Lagos.

Come to think of it, why would Boko disrupt Lagos? How would the break up of Nigeria benefit Buhari, the chief patron of Boko? Is Buhari not busy rehabilitating his killer kinsmen? So who told you Boko is a security risk to Nigeria?

The script behind the Okada ban is the multi billion naira this transport sector is generating. The sector has remained virtually in the hands of the operators in the informal sector. The state is not making a dime from the multi billion generated monthly in this sector. The only department of the state making millions from this informal sector is that headed by the Agbero-general of the state- Dr MC Oluomo PhD. DSc (Agbero Escatology).

One tech disruptor saw the vast opportunity and decided to move in. That was the arrival of Gokada. They moved in by paying a few millions to the state. They got all the required license to operate and business started. Even the disruptor could not believe their luck when the millions started rolling in. They were like “Yeeparipa, aiye mi temi bami. Na money dey flow like this?” Even the Okada drivers working for Gokada could not believe their luck. One lady who was in tears when the ban was introduced claimed she was making N20k a day. That’s N100k in 5 days.

News of the billions they’re making started filtering into the corridors of power at Bourdillon. Sangodele, the Life-Governor of Lagos State and the Baba of all Lagosians, Oko iya won L’eko, summoned Pointius Pilate to an emergency meeting. According to sources at the meeting, he was like: “Pointius, Ode ni e. Ori e de ti daru. And if you continue like this, I will make sure I ambode you too.”

He continued, “right now you, Pointius, are the greatest threat to my Presidential ambition. I heard one Gokada man, a Chinco, is making billions under your nose, in my state, and you’re just looking like lookman...

...how am I supposed to replenish my Bullion Van?”

With a tone of finality, he said, “I want a big chunk of the billions to start rolling into my Alpha Beta conglomerate account.”

Pointius was escorted out. Our source said he was farting in the car throughout the long journey back to Alausa.

The rest as they say in Mandarin is history.
