Well, it's still wouldn't serve the poor. Yesterday, a friend told me she was at one of these parks in Ibadan to board a bus to Abuja and they told her at the park that she should be patient for a day or two because the road is not good because passengers' safety cannot be guaranteed along the road. So it is left for her to fly plane to Abuja.. There is insecurity in the land.. 1 Like |

Oga take it easy. Tinubu is not everything in Yoruba land in terms of money and investment. There are hundreds of dollars billionaires in Yoruba land that are silence. We are not always known for blowing self trumpet. Our work speak for us. 3 Likes |

PlayerMeji: Stop glorifying poverty with this kind of talk, as if the 'poor' are the only ones that ought to be the primary beneficiaries of services in society. Even the so-called poor are striving to better themselves so enough of this kind of talk. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Some people are very loaded in this country. $11bn is no small money in any part of the world. Not every bank can cough up such amount |

Oga, stop creating unnecessary derailment to the crux of the issue on ground. My assertion is that as long as the people in government don't experience the same thing an average Joe experiences, they would forever be putting the cart before the horse. Let me refresh your memory as early as 2014 when Ebola virus broke out in west Africa, the fact that the first case was by a Liberian man who flew in from Freetown to Lagos and knowing fully well that airplanes could be the biggest transmissional media. The Nigerian elites got to work to solve the problem because they know they are also vulnerable to the Ebola plague. So what I m trying to say is as long as the roads that daily commute more than 80% of Nigerians everywhere are not safe, the government is still putting its cart before the horse. Not a poor versus rich comfy comparison. EcoBrick: |
