The Federal High Court in Abuja, on Monday, ordered the arrest of a former Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Abdullahi Dikko. Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu issued the bench warrant against him for refusing to appear before the court with a court charged of corruption issued against him and two others by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offenses Commission. Hopefully, the arrest will be effected. I do not understand why some people feel they are above the law. In general, we need to change our modus operandi as a country however, the government needs first separate powers and each arm of government respected. |
