See, this thing is real and glaring.
Adults in their high and busy lives can only see a few glimpses of the surface of this problem, criticize and say stuffs. And that's it. Only a few know this problem deeply.
See, if you're a parent and you have a child (the sex doesn't matter) aged between 14-19, please and please, hold that human well. Only a few are struggling not to bend to this peer pressure. These are the main vices most of us face right now
1. Sexual immortality
2. Alcoholism
3. Pornography and Jerking off
4. Drug abuse
5. Homosexuality (yes, you heard me)

I remember telling my friends yesterday that sex is not an important aspect of our present life stage. Come see insult
"you be bushman"
"Leave this pastor jhere"
"See as him day talk like Tarzan"
Its very hard not to bend. "Everybody is doing it so it must not be bad"... Is that thing putting a lot of teens into trouble nowadays.

If you're a female virgin, biko lock up your legs as tight as a nun's. If you're a male virgin, put padlock on your zipper please. Don't let the deviant ones push you into this rabbit hole of immortality. Believe me, they are jealous of you. Sexual advances will surely come but please resist!

I am still fighting this thing but please from what I have seen, all these things aren't worth it.

If you are a Christian of any denomination read the Jehovah's Witnesses Awake especially the yYoung People Ask section.

Like many of us survived the adolescent level. We struggled and found out that there was nothing to it and readjusted and fit back into the society.... While many of us couldn't scale through and ended up as touts, cultist and criminals.....

So is your time to struggle with it.....

And note that, many of the supposed bad friends you have today could be pastors and imams tomorrow..

Life has a way of favouring folks.....

I am glad you called it peer pressure . Rather than struggle fruitlessly, why not change the kind of peers you roll with.
The new peers you should seek will also pressure you, but not into sexual immortality and alcoholism. They should/will pressure you into Christ.
I read your post where you said you want a heart that pants after God's. You are not the only guy with this mentality, there are many other guys like you, some walking in the way of light already and others that sincerely hunger for holiness and righteousness. Mix with their kinds and let them pressure you into Christ.
Hahahahaha.... I'm sure you will not want to let go of your old friends for one reason or the other.
Remember, Jesus said;
" If your eye (something close and dear to you) cause you to sin, cast it out from you. It is better to make the kingdom without them than to be thrown in hell with them altogether. "
Also, He said
"What we eat does not defile us because it does not enter into our heart".
We both know the peers we roll with and the stuffs they do try to find their way into our heart. They can easily defile you.
I love you and won't want you to fight a never-ending battle, that is why I said all that. Moreover, you are fierce and strong. It's really hard to beat the devil in his game.
SHALOM!
PS: Are you baptized in the holy ghost already?
