PRINCE4CHRIST:
I need a pastor to interpret this for me pls!
I found myself asking God for forgiveness daily because each day will never pass unless i commit one sin or the other. Now i begin to imagine myself, how can i ask God to for give me and commit that same crime tomorrow Will He really Forgive?
According to God, He does not answer the prayers — pleas/requests/petitions— of the unrighteous; their every prayer is made filthy by their sins(unholiness) and is hence an abomination to God. Yep, I am afraid you simply engaged in a time-wasting ritual there since God didn't answer any of your pleas. Jesus Christ instead said you are to seek first the Kingdom of God (holiness) and then God's righteousness, in order that all these things — blessings and rewards of the Kingdom of God(including answers to prayers) — can be added onto you. Righteousness is the key and the only way to obtain it is through continuous obedience to the teachings and commandments of God. Prayer will get you nowhere there. undecided

If you need a pastor, go to church, you don't come to an online forum. That's why nobody is responding because you need a pastor.
The last thing he needs is a pastor. OP sounds more like he needs to see a shrink! undecided

When you GENUINELY repent of a sin and ask God for forgiveness; you don't do it again. Why would you tell God you realised you have sinned by committing fornication and would not do it again, and THEN GO AND DO IT AGAIN, unless your 'repentance' was only 'mouth-deep' and not 'heart-deep' in the first place? It's like apologizing to a traffic warden for parking illegally but repeating the same action EVERYDAY! How does that show you are really sorry for doing it the first time? grin

2 Corinthians 7:10 (King James Version)
10For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Genuine repentance leads you to salvation; fake repentance leads you to death.
Repentance, as preached by Jesus Christ, is not from Sin but a transition from following God's Old Law to following God's New Law. A person who is a slave to sin, no matter how many times he turns away from sin, remains a slave to sin unless he, through continuous submission and obedience to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ — a conscious change in lifestyle fueled by greater self-discipline and self-control with a goal of turning completely away from sin—, comes to a knowing of the Truth, Jesus Christ, and is set free from slavery to sin by the Truth - John 8 vs 31 - 36. undecided

By the way, God does not answer the requests of the unrighteous; even their pleas for forgiveness are an abomination to God as a result of their sins. undecided

@poster, Of course God forgives each time a Christian ask for forgiveness. But you can leave beyond the level of falling and confessing. You didn't state if you're born again or not. If you're not born again, you don't have business asking for forgiveness because God will not hear it. Forgiveness is only for a born again person. But if you're born again already and you keep falling into sin. It can only be because you've not allow the word of God to richly dwell in you. You need to grow up spiritually by feeding voraciously on the word.
You need to join a bible teaching church fully. Most churches have a structure by which converts are raised to maturity. But if all these are in place already and you still have challenges in the flesh. Let us know. There is something else to deal with. This goes beyond just confession,God doesn't really want you to keep falling and confessing.
1. There is no truth to this claim because God instead said He only grants the petitions of the righteous meaning that unless your Christian is already Righteous, God will not grant him his petition and he remains unforgiven until His righteousness status with God changes. undecided

You see, Scripture states that God does not answer the prayers of the unrighteous; the pleas and requests and every petition, praise, offering, work, plea, sacrifice, etc., of the unrighteous are tainted by their sins(disobedience/unholiness) and are hence an abomination to God. So, what is definite is that even your many pleas for the forgiveness of sins are not answered by God given that God made no special exemptions for that kind of plea. No amount of praying can cause God to change His mind regarding that which concerns the unrighteous by the way. So if you are thinking of prescribing more prayers that only means you really don't understand or know God at all. undecided

God, however, openly bragged about how He only answers the prayers of the righteous; He delights in granting them the desires of their heart meaning that they are those who are loved by Him. For this very reason, Jesus Christ urged His followers to seek first the Kingdom of God and God's Righteousness in order that all things— the blessings and rewards of the Kingdom of God(holiness), answers to prayers included—shall be added on to them. And as Jesus Christ explained in His Gospel, the only way to become Holy, and then also Righteous, is by way of continuous submission and obedience to the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, god's Truth and Law in the Kingdom of god - John 8 vs 31 - 36 & John 14 vs 15 - 23. Jesus Christ is the only way. Obedience to the Truth of God is the one and only path to righteousness. No amount of praying and other religious rituals can accomplish that.

■ And further, I wonder HOW anybody gets to get saved then, if only believers can get forgiven. How did they become forgiven when they first started? By licking an MOG's boots? tongue undecided angry
Salvation from the condemnation of sin (Death) does not require forgiveness of sins. A Sinner who becomes born-again is granted access into the Kingdom of God carrying along with him his sin-debt from before citizenship in the Kingdom of God was granted. Should said sinner continue in sin(disobedience) after becoming born-again, he continues to pile on more sins against himself by his choice. However, should the born-again choose rather to live in obedience then his sin-debt, then by his every act of obedience, he slowly but surely pays off the sin-debt that stands in the way of holiness in the Kingdom of God. As Jesus Christ made clear in His Gospel, it is by knowing the Truth -- God's commandments and teachings in Jesus Christ, the dictionary of sin- that one is then set free from slavery to sin and transformed into a Son of God - John 8 vs 31 -36. undecided

Jesus Christ does not wipe away sins rather He is a path to redemption by which sinners, through obedience, are able to pay off their sins debts, and to righteousness with God. It is only after one has become righteous that God is then able to grant one righteousness by way of His answers to prayer. undecided

■ What you call poison is the gospel truth.  You need to grow up a little in your understanding of righteousness. It is not the wrong doing of a man that makes him a sinner. And praying for forgiveness over such does not make a man right with God. He is a sinner by birth through Adam . He has to be re-born and have his old sin nature replaced as a new creation in christ. I know you're one of those people that say that a woman with makeup  will go to hell fire. That's not the gospel of christ. Wake up to truth mister. If a sinner is right with God just by asking for forgiveness , why did jesus have to come? He came to give us life, that life has righteousness. Let me ask you a question. If does nice things, without doing bad. Even though he hasn't received Jesus , is he saved?
■ God made it clear that the one who sins dies.
■ You do not inherit sin from Adam. Rather, it is your own sins that you pay for before you can become righteous with God.
■ Also, God does not answer your prayers of forgiveness since He does not answer the prayers of the unrighteous.
