Even one billion more soldiers will fail as long as there are people benefiting from the war. Also high level of sabotage is the bane of the fight

More than 50 000 northern soldiers are stationed in the south doing nothing in a peaceful region.
You are right. Our southern guys are deployed to a terrain which is very strange to them to fight boko haram while the soldiers of hausa fulani extraction are idle down south. Each time I visit ikeja shopping mall na soso Ahmed, Gambo, Elias, Sule, Tukur I dey see for their name tag. I wonder if ikeja shopping mall is a battle field

The need better information technology instead. It not about number what classified information you have and you gonna use it to wipe them out. They too use information of when to strike and they leave among the neighbors in those villages.

This is not an excuse for defeat. The Nigerian government is not serious about this issue of insurgency

I think you need 100,000 cows not people, the soldier that don't have helmet and the bullets that will be counted and also the kind of gun which will be given to them will be so old fashioned. I will never advised any body to enter Nigerian army for now.
Re: Governor Zulum: We Need 100,000 Soldiers To Defeat Boko Haram by HundHunter(m): 7:49pm On Feb 19, 2020
With 181,000 total military personnel − 124,000 active personnel and 57,000 reserve personnel, Nigeria ranks the fourth most powerful country in Africa and 43rd in the world according to Global Firepower 2018.

With this statistics deployment of 50,000 Army personnel to North East shouldn't be a problem.

However, intelligence gathering, advance military tech and hardware are predominantly what will give us edge over the Boko Haram bastard.

Warfare has gone beyond major human resources acquisition, it is strongly prosecuted with technological equipment and intelligence gathering.

Equipment that can help to gather intelligence and eliminate targets are drones and satellites. Instead of Nigeria to invest in technology driven warfare, they are thinking about the obsolete approach.

Boko Haram, Kidnapping, banditry and organised crimes are money spinning businesses in Nigeria. Even the government and military have turned it to money making ventures. That is the reason it is growing and daring.

What did FG do with the 1 billion dollars they took from Sovereign Wealth Fund 2 or 3 years ago? What have they been doing with the annual budget for security since PMB got into office?
