 Have You Seen Jesus?

The Spirit's Word: Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
John 20:15 KJV

After the Lord's resurrection, they could no longer recognise Him. He was no longer the son of man they used to know. Something remarkable happened. Mary Magdalene got to the tomb of the Lord, and was having a direct conversation with Him thinking He was the gardener. Even after His resurrection, He still maintained a lowly state. His humility can never wear out. Why did she not recognize the Lord facially or physically? Remember His Words: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: ...Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
Matthew 25:42‭-‬45. He died for all, and now takes the form of all. We don't deserve Him if we fail to treat our neighbours like we would treat Him. On different occasions He appeared to His disciples and they failed to recognize Him each time. John 21:4.

He is the First and Last, and yet, He takes the form of an anonymous stranger. This tells us we must see the Lord in everyone He died for. Hear what Apostle Paul said after He received this revelation: Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
2 Corinthians 5:16. If we see man in the flesh, we would never see the Lord Jesus. It was His love for the world that took Him to that cross. The worst sinner qualified for the same salvation He wrought for we who are saved. This is the secret to soul winning. We must see the Lord in everybody. Effective soul winning is either through power or love. The Lord told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem until they receive power by the descent of the Holy Ghost, to be His witnesses. Acts 1:8. The other method is to let our light shine, so that men may see our good works, and glorify our Father in Heaven. Matthew 5:16. Good works can only be acts of love or power (or the Anointing) to heal and deliver. Acts 10:38.

If we are waiting for the Lord to make a cameo appearance to us, He never promised that in Scripture. He only appears to those He sends for a special assignment. Besides, to really know Him, we must see past the human limitations. Are you one who is irritated by others? Do you discriminate among people? Be careful, because He already paid the price for every single head with His blood. Do you regard the precious blood of the Lord a light matter? Many times, we believers hurt the Church, which is His Body. When we hurt fellow believers, we hurt ourselves. This is why we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ. As it is written: But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
Romans 14:10. Let's show respect for both believers and unbelievers, because all souls belong to God irrespective of their current affiliation. Jeremiah 32:27, Ezekiel 18:4, Hebrews 12:9. A saint today was a sinner yesterday. Don't destroy the work of Christ. Begin to see from His point of view. ✡️

Reminder: For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
2 Corinthians 5:10. The Lord is as next to us as we would like to have Him. Change your lenses.

 Should a Witch Live?

The Spirit's Word: Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
Exodus 22:18 KJV

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Galatians 5:19‭-‬21 KJV

A witch is someone working for the devil unto wickedness, using spells, enchantment, divination, necromancy, astral projection, etc. A witch is possessed by an evil spirit, and has demons assigned to them as messengers of doom. God forbids witchcraft. In the old testament, the penalty was death. At the mouth of two or three witnesses, a witch or wizard was stoned to death. Leviticus 20:27. Today, the Lord has brought us grace. Recall, the woman caught in the act of adultery. The Lord made us to understand that man is generally a sinner who needs salvation. John 8:4-11. Putting a witch to death makes us transgressors in the new covenant. Galatians 5 tells us that witchcraft is a work of the flesh just like fornication. It is also hypocrisy to consider witchcraft a worse sin, because all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. Romans 3:23. Where does this leave the believer? We know a witch only wants to cause pain, sorrow, affliction, etc., on their victims.

The believer must recognise his authority over witches. We are no longer victims of darkness, but more than conquerors. Witchcraft is a small thing, even though it's hinged on wickedness. We should never magnify what God has conquered for us. In the old testament, witches waxed strong because man was still in bondage to the devil. So, it was such a big deal when a witch threatens someone, or casts a spell. The Lord Jesus has spoiled principalities and powers. Colossians 2:15. He has given us power over the so called demons that empower witches and wizards. Luke 10:19. Speak His Word. Don't call what is powerless, powerful. Don't call what is weak, strong. Our attitude to these things show a great deal of our walk with the Lord. Witches should never hold sway again. They should be in hiding. The enemy scans the mind of the believer. Would he find faith or fear? Would he find authority or slavery? We must be bold with the knowledge of God. God's people face destruction because of the lack of knowledge. Hosea 4:6. Also, the Holy Ghost imparts boldness. Acts 4:31. The sons of God can only apprehend their victory through knowledge of God and boldness in Him. Boldness is a product of faith.

Our authority is the same as that of the Lord Jesus Christ. He wouldn't give us anything less. If He expects us to do greater works (John 14:12), then He surely must give us the same authority He has. He could have given us a greater authority if it were possible. The authority of the Lord Jesus is what we need to live a triumphant life. Matthew 28:18. Authority is a function of knowledge and obedience or alignment with the Word. Let's not forget that we are His replica even as He is in heaven. 1 John 4:17. Don't be dramatic about these things because it is written: Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Romans 8:37. I have seen some demons in my life, and the truth of the matter is, they are more scared of the believer than the believer is scared of them. They do wickedness where they are allowed because it's in their nature, having been cut off from the life of God. That's the result of anything not connected to the true and living God. Live a life that pleases God and no devil can harass you. ✡️

Reminder: The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
Psalms 34:7.

 Pentecost

The Spirit's Word: And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 1:4‭-‬8 KJV

Glory be to God Almighty who in His infinite wisdom has done all things well towards His own people. He has wrought for us a great deliverance from darkness, and defeated the devil on our behalf. Today, we celebrate the outpouring of the Holy Ghost. Pentecost is the most significant act of the Father, after the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It started with the Jews, then to the Greeks also. Romans 1:16. The Lord Jesus made all the preparation so that His own can truly reign on earth. Hear the Words of the Lord: ...ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost comes upon you. The sole purpose of the Holy Ghost is for the empowerment of the saints to reign and be an effective witness for Christ. The world will not believe without signs and wonders. This season is a remarkable one, because the works of God only gets better. John 14:12.

It is written thus: The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.
Haggai 2:9. The Father is not limited in anyway. He is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient and infinite. When we think we have seen the greatest work, He shows up with a greater than the greatest. His servant, Moses, did terrible things in the days of old. The prophets also demonstrated His power. However, God is telling us to: Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? Isaiah 43:18‭-‬19. Can we believe God for the impossible and the unimaginable? We, His saints, have been waiting for Him. All through Scripture, there is a season of waiting or tarrying (includes fasting), watching and praying before the arrival of Pentecost. Hear what Apostle Paul said: but I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
1 Corinthians 16:8. This tells us it wasn't a one time phenomenon that happened in the upper room as seen in Acts 2.

What are we to expect? Expect an outpouring of the Holy Ghost on every saint who has the same mind as Christ Jesus our Lord - being in one accord with Him. Phillipians 2:5. Expect the manifestation of power in supernatural signs, wonders, miracles and mighty works, to be done by the Church in this season. Acts 2:22. Expect a massive harvest of souls. Zechariah 2:4, Acts 5:14. Expect many men and women to stand up for Christ and His Gospel; people abandoning their secular lives and just following the Lord all the way. Acts 6:7. Expect government authorities all over the world to seek the Church's counsel and place so many saints in seats of power and authority after the order of Joseph. Genesis 39-50, Isaiah 2:2-3. The devil is about to see and experience what he has never experienced. This is the season where the head of the serpent would be bruised according to prophecy. Genesis 3:15. Revelations 13:3. This is the Great Awakening. This is the season of the End Time Revival. ✡️

Reminder: Be prepared. Watch and see the Holy Ghost show the world who is in charge!

 Faith and Love

The Spirit's Word: For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
Galatians 5:6 KJV

Apostle Paul wrote a very critical letter to the Church in Galatia, because they were going back to the law and works to look for justification in Christ Jesus. He was perplexed because they began with faith, but now turned back to the law. Make no mistakes about this kind of issue. Satan is behind it. He tries to take you back to the law and ordinances, because he knows you will definitely fall short. He can give you a vision that makes you think it is from God. After you have failed in that regard, he comes like a thief that he is to spoil you and wreck havoc. The Bible says: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
1 John 4:18. When you break the law, what follows is fear, condemnation and judgment. Isn't he the deceiver that he is? We must never get carried away by his gimmicks and machinations. We are to walk in love, but never to think judgment or guilt or condemnation when we make a mistake. This is the difference between grace and law. Praise be to God, for we are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:14.

What if we sin wilfully? Hebrews 10:26-29 tells us this can be dangerous because it's regarding the blood of Jesus as an unholy thing. A real believer should never be found in this category. It is the godless sinner who devises iniquity upon his bed, and not the believer. Psalm 36:4. Our love walk must show we love God truly; otherwise, we are only deceiving ourselves and have not truly believed. If we believe, then we want to please Him. We may make mistakes but our heart is right. Even if our hearts condemns us, God is greater than out hearts. 1 John 3:20. We know that nobody can please God without faith. Hebrews 11:6. We must, therefore, be grounded in our faith, which is rooted in the Word of His grace. Romans 10:17, Acts 20:32. A believer must labour in the Word of God daily, so he or she is not caught up in the lies of the devil. 2 Corinthians 2:11. Our hearts must be guarded diligently. God cares so much for our souls for it to be polluted by the enemy's lies.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Galatians 5:1. The Word of His Grace is the Perfect Law of Liberty. James 1:25, James 2:12. What does it mean? We should have no business with the devil. We should always cast him out when he tries to interfere with our dealings with God. He is not a factor in our relationship. But he likes to remain in the lives of men. So cast him out. The blood of Jesus has paid the price, and it's our cleansing agent from mistakes and pollution that gets into our lives. We are children of God, and so should we live. Yes, I'm aware of believers who play with sin. You must know you can never beat the enemy at his own game. If Jesus had sinned, he may never have resurrected. John 14:30, John 8:46. That's why you reap corruption when you sow into the flesh. Have it settled that the work of our Lord Jesus has settled every issue of sin, law and judgment. Don't let Satan take you back to the law that could by no means justify anyone. ✡️

Reminder: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:1‭-‬2 KJV

 The Anointing

The Spirit's Word: And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the Anointing.
Isaiah 10:27 KJV

There are different categories of bondage. However, there is no bondage that is greater than God. The above Scripture talks about the Assyrian yoke that has bound the believer. The Scripture was referring to the Jews who were taken captive; and so, we can say it's figurative for a Christian who is still held bound. It says that there is a day, and this day corresponds to the manifestation of the yoke-destroying anointing. If you carefully study the Scripture, it tells us about a specific type of slavery or bondage. This is a lawful captive. A lawful captive is one who is a victim of a generational curse accrued by his or her ancestors. Anointing is in levels. When you got born again, you received the anointing in a seed form. It's like a pregnancy within you that you must bring forth and wean till it's ready to attack the works of darkness. The Anointing is not the Holy Ghost. Acts 10:38. Rather, it's a result of man's alignment with the sanctification work of the Holy Spirit. The Anointing is not only of the spirit, but the body as well. 2 Kings 13:21.

You nurture the anointing by diligent pursuit of God. You must be one given to fasting, prayer, Word of God and service. There is legal freedom, and there is actual freedom. Jesus has paid the price for our freedom. However, if we don't garner an understanding of what it truly takes to be free, it'd just be a vicious circle of deliverances upon deliverances. True deliverance is a consciousness in itself. With faith anything is possible. However, the enemy will not give you rest because he knows if your faith wavers (James 1:6), he can capture you again. This is why God provided the Anointing. The day you enter into that realm where your Anointing becomes so great, and destroys the yoke, the enemy knows he doesn't have big enough hands to hold you bound again. This is why it was said that affliction shall not rise the second time. Nahum 1:9. Anointing is different from authority; and it is different from power. It works alongside both.

But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do].
1 John 2:27 AMPC. This Scripture clearly spells it out. It's an unction. It abides permanently in you just like Elisha's bones still had it. What would you do with yours? Start by nurturing it, that way you gain command in life. We are all anointed differently. Every believer is anointed. It all depends on where you are in the spiritual ladder. The Holy Ghost can fall upon two believers, and we see a manifestation of different kinds of Anointing. Don't despise your Anointing as it will surely serve God's purpose. ✡️

Reminder: Set your heart on the King's Anointing. This is what makes for dominion.

 The Quickening Process

The Spirit's Word: It is the Spirit Who gives life [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.
John 6:63 AMPC

The King James Version of the above Scripture uses the word quickens in the place of ''gives life''. That's exactly what it means - to give life. Someone may ask, how do you mean? Are we talking about raising the dead? Let's get it straight; there is the one who is alive; living dead; and dead-dead. Hear the Lord for yourself: But Jesus said to him, Follow Me, and leave the dead [in sin] to bury their own dead.
Matthew 8:22 AMPC. Some people may get offended by this statement, but who are we to question the one who is the Resurrection and the Life. John 11:25. This is truth that many cannot accept. Anyone that doesn't believe that Jesus is the Son of God is dead while alive. This is not an oxymoron to satiate your senses. This is real. God sees anyone not connected to Him through His only begotten Son as dead. This is why there is an outcry. All men must be saved. 1 Timothy 2:4.

God is so desperate to save us because Adam's sin led to the fall which affected all humanity. We, who did not sin, were automatically born into sin. Romans 5:17. The judgment was death. A dead Adam could never produce an alive man. This is why Christ was conceived by the Holy Ghost, through the Holy Seed, in a human vessel called Mary. Being born again means the spirit of man who died (cut off from God) was reborn, and now immersed into the Spirit of God. It's a regeneration and renewal of the Holy Ghost. Titus 3:5. The Holy Spirit is the Breath of God among many things. John 20:22. This was why He hovered over the face of the deep in the recreation of the earth. Genesis 1:2. Even after Adam and Eve sinned, and they died spiritually, it was still the Spirit of God that kept their body and soul alive by being with them, and not in them. This was why man, in those days, lived above 900 years. But hear what God said to alter it: And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
Genesis 6:3. And this was an act of His mercy considering the great power that Satan wielded in those days.

The devil would have turned the whole earth into a breed of demons. Demons are the offsprings of fallen angels and man, as seen in the Genesis Chapter 6. See Genesis 3:15 also. The Word of God cannot lie. There is nothing contradictory between the Old and New Testaments, if only you will factor Jesus into the equation. Once you receive Jesus into your heart, the Holy Spirit starts to dwell in unison with your recreated spirit. He begins to transmit His life into your soul and body to get rid of corruption. There is no void in life. It's either your flesh or the Holy Spirit that's ruling your tabernacle. The flesh will only lead you down to hell if you let it rule. There is no profit in it but irreparable and regrettable losses. The quickening process is activated when we live according to the Word of God, and speak like children of God. Our speaking is nonnegotiable when it comes to conforming to the life of God. He is a speaking Spirit. 2 Corinthians 4:13. ✡️

Reminder: You may have the Holy Spirit in you, but this doesn't mean you are automatically quickened in your body and soul. We must release the power from the Spirit by alignment with Scriptures. Romans 12:2, 2 Corinthians 3:18.

 Brokenness

The Spirit's Word: Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Matthew 16:24‭-‬25 KJV

For sometime now, I've been putting off this topic because I could not find the most appropriate Scripture to use. Many talk about brokenness but have no idea what it really means. It is not in the definition but rather, the experience. Many sing about it. They say things like I'm the clay, Lord; You are the Potter. Jeremiah 18, Isaiah 29:16, Isaiah 64:8, Romans 9:21. This is a topic of most significance. If God would use a man effectively, then He must be broken. I would try to define brokenness with the title of a book I read sometime ago. It's titled ''The Breaking of the Outer Man and the Release of the Spirit'' by Watchman Nee. A book published in 1950. He is in heaven now, and I'm sure, God really appreciates his effort with respect to this book. The Lord told His disciples that denying self and carrying personal cross is a prerequisite for following Him. We must empty ourselves of personal will, and gratifications. This is a serious matter.

Hear what transpired between the Lord and a certain man: And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Matthew 19:16‭-‬26. I had to include the whole conversation to drive home the point. We sing, pray, serve and fellowship on our own terms. The icebreaker is when the Lord starts to give us these wild and hard instructions, and we come to realise that we are not so much in love with Him. We come to realise that He is still placed below our interests. Have you gotten to this point yet?

I would advise that you sit down and consider it. Ponder it wholeheartedly. Are you ready to follow Him without reservations? For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
Luke 14:28‭-‬29. Brokenness is death. Galatians 2:20. It is total surrender. You become a ''slave'' of God. Can God demand anything from you and your answer is yes? If this is true, then you are broken. This is the only way the Spirit of God finds full expression in you. Broken men and women are as scarce as diamonds. They are God's treasures. The old you must truly and actually break into pieces, and God recreates a new you. This is diving deeper into the depths of the Spirit, as it pertains to the dying of the will and flesh. ✡️

Reminder: Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
Matthew 9:17.

 Jesus is Faithful

The Spirit's Word: Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Philippians 1:6 KJV

One attribute of God is faithfulness. He is faithful to His own. The only condition that can break this trait is when we turn away from following Him completely. For what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:14. Even if His soul would take no pleasure in that one (Hebrews 10:38), He still tries to bring them back from time to time. We can always count on His faithfulness. This is why the Godhead and angels wonder why man doubts. They wonder why man is so fearful. Our hearts must be established. God warns us not to trust in the arm of flesh. Jeremiah 17:5. He knows what is in man, and that man can never be trusted. John 2:24-25. Abel and Cain are an analogy of what resides in man. The ugliness in man will always destroy the good because man without God is accursed. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Jeremiah 17:9. We'll be doing ourselves a whole lot of good if we can jump this hurdle successfully in our lives.

Faithfulness is not faith. It is absolute commitment and compliance. God is committed to us. Romans 8:32, Jeremiah 31:3. He is not a man that should lie or repent. Numbers 23:19. His faithfulness is absolute. It doesn't depend on us. Like I said earlier, God exalts His Word above His Name. If we turn back to the paths of perdition unto hell, He will never stop trying to get us back. That's who He is. The Lord is so good. He is faithful and true. Revelation 19:11. This is one of the reasons He ordains prophets and apostles; to reach out to those far and near; those who are drawing back from Him. His heart is always yearning. The Bible says: If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: He cannot deny himself.
2 Timothy 2:13. I know man can be fickle. We give up easily. Just because things don't work out within our expected timeframe, doesn't mean they would never work.

God is always testing our faithfulness. If Abraham were to be on earth today, God would still test Him, because with God, there is always room for more promotion. These tests are to keep us in the faith, and faithful. Man expects the world to be faithful to him, but most people are not ready to be faithful to anybody. That's the selfish nature of man. Couples' divorce rate is alarming because of one thing - unfaithfulness. This is not related to only extramarital sex. Faithfulness in both the little and great things. We want the other to sacrifice for us, but how many are ready to sacrifice for their spouse. You may have done it once or twice, but think about the other times you said no. I believe in Heaven, the kind of service we would be rendering would be selfless service. Self is a big barrier to progress, especially in heavenly things here on the earth.
Don't despise faithfulness to God. It's a big asset.✡️

Reminder: For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
2 Timothy 1:12

 Overturning Shame

The Spirit's Word: For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
Isaiah 61:7 KJV

The Lord knows exactly how to pay back every man according to his or her ways. Life is not a bed of roses. Some people were born into one affliction or the other; some others have been so unfortunate in life that one wonders if they offended the entire world of spirits. But this is the Word of the Lord: He has promised a double portion of glory, honour, favour, blessing, anointing on you his child. You may have suffered all things which you didn't even know how it came about, but God sees it all. The enemy is so wicked; no end to his cruelty. Think about children born blind, lame, Siamese, heart condition, without genitals, deformed, maimed, perverted, etc. How do you think God feels about this? Someone once told me, children born this way is an act of God. Can you imagine such ignorance? When God finished creation on the sixth day, hear His testimony: And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Genesis 1:31. God is not an author of confusion. 1 Corinthians 14:33.

This is the reason the Lord was manifested; to bring back God's order and do away with the confusion and perversion. 1 John 3:8. And our God is generous. He knows how to recompense accordingly. Remember His servant, Job. And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Job 42:10. He specializes in giving double portions to them that have been held bound by the enemy. Some people don't believe in a double portion Anointing, even when it is clearly stated in the Bible with regards to the Prophet Elisha. He got it. You better wake up. They think the Anointing is the same as the Holy Ghost, but its not. Have you known shame and disgrace? Are you waiting on the Lord to wipe your tears clean? Give your burden to Him and take His'. This is the secret. The Lord Jesus said: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Matthew 11:28‭-‬30.

How do I give Him my burden? Stop considering it. Just stop thinking about it. Rather, make the Lord your eternal joy. Keep basking in His love and promises. Don't wait till you see the changes before you rejoice in Him. He dwells in the praises of His people. Psalm 22:3. We must walk by faith to please Him. Hebrews 11:6, 2 Corinthians 5:7. Once you get this settled, take His yoke upon you. His yoke is His Kingdom business. Become a willing and obedient servant. Isaiah 1:19. He commanded us to occupy till He comes. Luke 19:13. We must do what He stated in Matthew 6:33 with all our hearts. We cannot be engaged for God while He stands aloof just watching us. He is way more than that. Every father loves his children; how much more a child who is proving his love for his father steadfastly. Do all these things and watch Him turn around your shame into a joyous celebration. ✡️

Reminder: Start taking God's Word personally. Don't see it as something in everyone's possession. The day you stop treating it as a common thing is the day God's Spirit gets attracted to your case.

 The Lord's Mercy

The Spirit's Word: Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.
Psalms 103:13 KJV

And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
Malachi 3:17 KJV

My heart is so warm, as I put pen to paper on this subject. Normally, I ask the Holy Spirit to give me the Words as I begin to write and the inspiration just flows - glory be to God. This is one topic that I can write about so readily, because its true substance abounds in the countless testimonies. God is merciful. The above Scriptures are just a negligible references to His mercies which floods the entire Bible. Have you not heard, or have you not known? His mercies endures forever. Psalm 107. It's such a privilege to be an object of His mercy. king David knew this when he wrote the Psalms. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life. It'd take only an ingrate void of understanding who wouldn't acknowledge God's mercy. It's of His mercies we are not destroyed. Lamentations 3:22. Do you have any idea of what the enemy is capable of doing? Take a glimpse at Genesis 6, and you would find that the earth was filled with violence. The Lord Jesus also stated that the kingdom of Heaven suffers violence. Matthew 11:12.

We must not forget our testimonies. If anybody tells you it would take more than mercy for you to be reconciled with God at any given time on earth, and for any sin apart from the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, that's the devil speaking. The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is an almost impossible sin to commit. I didn't say it's not possible, but almost impossible. First, an unbeliever who is still in his sin doesn't qualify for this sin. Then, I wonder what believer would blaspheme the Holy Ghost. I would really want to see that fellow. This is a topic for another day. We have been saved, washed, redeemed, anointed and glorified all because of His mercy as no one deserves it. Think about that accident He saved you from, those kidnappers, bandits, fire, affliction, human wickedness, etc. When I remember some of these things, my love for God is strengthened. We fail and fail, time and time again. However, we are where we are by mercy. Things could have been a whole lot worse. There is no book in the Bible without a story of His mercy.

God's mercy is the arm that keeps drawing us to Himself. Jeremiah 31:3. He killed an animal to clothe Adam and Eve after their rebellion. Genesis 3:21. He didn't strike Cain to death after murdering Abel, and his contempt for God. He spared Noah and his household. Even Noah's household were mingled with the giants as we saw these giants, the sons of Anak again, inhabiting Canaan; and Goliath of Gath. Numbers 13:33, 1 Samuel 17:4. This is because He extends His mercy to both that one and his entire house, irrespective of their worthiness. Sometimes, God sees problems ahead and won't deal with it now because He's got to have mercy right now. He is not bothered about the complication that may arise in the future, He is still going to have mercy on whom He will have mercy on. Romans 9:15. Do your best to please Him, but never bank on your ability. Obey His commandments, but never present your obedience before His face. If God should mark iniquities. Who can stand? Psalms 130:3. We are in the days of His mercy. ✡️

Reminder: Recount His testimonies on a daily basis to strengthen and make alive His mercy in your life, which are new every day..

 Maintain Your Confession

The Spirit's Word: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:10 KJV

Confession is a big deal in Christianity. We get saved after confessing Jesus as Lord and Saviour. It doesn't end there. In fact, this is the beginning of temptations. When you were unsaved, you were never tempted by evil because you were a bonafide child of darkness. So, you only did those things that were natural to your nature. Words are the basic unit of this spiritual life we live on earth. It is what gives birth or rise to anything that would become - whether good or bad. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Matthew 12:36‭-‬37. We can see God doesn't even condone jokes. We shall account for every word spoken. Let's be wise and speak only that which edifies. Our speech must be with grace, and seasoned with salt. Colossians 4:6. Are your words preserving life?

The enemy brings in all manner of contrary speech into our vocabulary. We pick up some from associations, and while growing up. True maturity is being able to speak the right words always and separate yourself from the bandwagon of majority who go by crowd mentality. I admonished myself some years ago to always speak what God would have me speak. It was a Scripture I encountered that opened my eyes. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
James 3:2. We don't take steps like this to prove a point. Rather, we do it because we are concerned about our lives and what God thinks of us. Speech is the easiest index to ascertain one's spiritual maturity. It is so easy to tell. This is not about being gentle, meek or calm. Your words are a reflection of what is in your heart. And it doesn't mean everyone studying the Bible on a daily basis attains such maturity because some are ever learning but never apprehend the truth. 2 Timothy 3:7.

The account of the Lord's temptation in the wilderness didn't say the devil left him forever. And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
Luke 4:13. Yes, just a season. The enemy cannot leave you alone as long as you remain a Christian and on this earth. Recall how he came through Peter. Matthew 16:23. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of our testimony. Revelation 12:11. Sometimes, the enemy is so fierce and persistent. You must be ready to dig it out till the end, even if it means repeating one Scripture till he flees. We must be grounded in the Word by filling up our hearts with it. Learn to always plead the blood of Jesus over all that concerns you. I didn't say once a day, but as many times you are led by the Holy Spirit. This is our ticket to true victory - pleading the Blood and our Confession of His Testimony. ✡️

Reminder: You get to a spiritual stage in life that the enemy marks you out, because you have become a threat to His entire gang up. Make sure you are always woke.

 Seeing His Children Suffer

The Spirit's Word: He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1 John 3:8 KJV

As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
Isaiah 66:13 KJV

As far as God is concerned, the enemy has been taken out of the equation. God dealt with Satan on our behalf. Luke 10:18, Colossians 2:15, John 16:11. Even if it doesn't look so from man's perspective, it doesn't change the truth. The last enemy to be defeated is death. 1 Corinthians 15:26. What this means is a total abolishment of death. The Believer has been given power over death, but death in itself is still running rampage on the earth. Our Father is more concerned for His children than anything else in heaven and earth. He already proved it. John 3:16. Think about how He feels when, after the sacrifice of His beloved Son, man is still subject to the elements that held him bound afore time. It's painful to give something your best effort, and still find the problem as potent as it was before. The enemy is still causing havoc on the earth, even after Jesus defeated him at the Resurrection. I pray God gives us understanding. Hosea 4:6.

The love of God is beyond words and comprehension. Ephesians 3:19. He yearns for us every time because we proceed from Him. Earthly parents care for their children, and are ready to lay down their lives for them. Imagine what the Father goes through when an abortion or miscarriage takes place, or when a plane crash occurs. Imagine how the Father feels when His children are not able to live their lives according to His plan and purpose. Some born blind, deaf, dumb, autistic, maimed, etc. He sent Jesus to deal with these issues which are only the manifest works of Satan. We have been handed the baton to call the shots. Why do we still accept this anomalies? Is it that the finished works of Christ did not cover all these things? The Lord Jesus went about healing all manner of diseases and sicknesses which are all oppression of the devil. Acts 10:38. How do you feel when you see the sick, maimed, blind, etc? Are you moved by sympathy or a holy anger? We must start from here. We must begin to engage heaven on a daily basis to show us the way to God's power. Psalm 63:1-2. This is the only answer to such untold sufferings on the earth.

What about the multitudes that are tossed into hell on a daily basis? What goes through your mind when someone dies and you know he never received Jesus as Lord and Saviour? Sometimes, I pray to God to give some people dreams of hell. If this is what it'd take to save a soul, it is more than worth it. Even Apostle Paul almost wished for his own perdition in order for Israel, his brethren according to the flesh, to be saved. Romans 9:3. This is a burden for all Christians. Many may not understand this. This is why I pray you catch a revelation of hell. Reading about it alone may not suffice to drive home the point. Jesus died for this cause. If you love the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and you are a bonafide member of the Trinity Family - the Godhead, then you would do all it takes to see that souls are saved, and men are delivered from the grip of the enemy. Every true son should be concerned about his father's heart. ✡️

Reminder: Are you a child of God by just what is written, or in truth and deed?

 Do We Praise Ourselves?

The Spirit's Word: I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little. That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.
2 Corinthians 11:16‭-‬17 KJV

For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
1 Corinthians 4:7 KJV

One ungodly trait we must eschew is boasting. We must never praise ourselves. Most people know this. However, I have discovered that people invent ways to still boast indirectly. Are we wiser than God who tries the heart? It is not a heavenly trait to talk about your achievements, except in the light of sharing a testimony of God's goodness and mercy. Apostle Paul talked about this quite a number of times, especially to the Church at Corinth. This Church had a lot of spiritual babies and rebels. 1 Corinthians 3:1. No wonder this issue was common with them. Some people cannot stop talking. They go on and on about the highs of their daily lives like nothing else matters in the world. It is ''me, myself and I'' for them. We should never be conceited, because it's a thin line that separates us from experiencing a downward spiral. There is nothing we have that we did not receive from God. Even the person who is far from God, and is apparently doing well; he doesn't own the breath he takes in everyday. God makes the rain to fall, and sun to shine on all. Matthew 5:45.

Christians have been bought with a price - the Blood of Jesus. We no longer live for ourselves, but for Him who died and arose for us, to live justified and in liberty. Galatians 2:20; 3:13, Revelations 5:9. Hear what the Lord Jesus had to say about this: He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh His glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.
John 7:18. Always check your motive before talking about your achievements. Does it make you feel good? Are you trying to make the listener feel inferior to you? Do you always seek to be recognised and acknowledged in a place? Perfection is not so difficult as we think it to be. We can actually live our lives the way Jesus did. The mind gate and tongue are two very important faculties to really master the Kingdom of Heaven. If we would pay attention to God, and let His Word saturate us, it would program us accordingly. We would know how to speak perfection.

God doesn't place heavy burdens on people: He knows man is frail. But there is always a place for whoever is willing and obedient. Isaiah 1:19. Don't be too self-seeking. As many that would get to heaven, we must start living a heaven on earth life. Don't be a contradiction to your true self. Don't join the world in conforming to its ways. Where would you be standing once the world is done away with as already prophesied in Scripture. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
1 John 2:17. Don't be a lazy Christian. Every single thing you do matters to God, even the air you breathe in. He knows how many particles or microbes you take in which you ought not to; how much more things that truly defile the soul. Being boastful is superficial and vain. Get rid of this habit today. ✡️

Reminder: There's so much space at the top for us. Let us lay aside every weight and the sin which easily and forcefully attaches itself to our lives. You can't go far with it.

 Wounds of a Talebearer

The Spirit's Word: The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
Proverbs 18:8 KJV

A talebearer is a gossip. The world today take pride in gossip. They have made a show out of it. It has been commercialised. This doesn't make it right. Why would you think it is okay to discuss people in absentia and in a negative or disparaging light? God is not pleased with such. The Scripture above tells us that the ones who go about narrating others are causing themselves harm. The innermost parts of the belly refer to the spirit man. Once your spirit man is wounded, you become weak spiritually (Proverbs 24:10) and thus, very vulnerable to the attacks of Satan and his minions. A talebearer also reveals secrets and flatters. A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
Proverbs 11:13. This also tells us that the one who gossips has an unfaithful spirit. An unfaithful spirit is disloyal to God, adulterous and not keeping a good faith. We must not allow our mouths bring us into a perilous state of being.

A talebearer causes strife among brethren, that leads to division and disunity. Proverbs 26:20. Where there is strife, there is bitterness. Hebrews 12:14-15. We hinder the operations of the Holy Ghost by meddling in these negative traits. The Bible tells us that a wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit. Proverbs 15:4. A tree of life brings about revival, regeneration, reinvigoration, health, life, resurrection, etc. Whereas perverseness brings about death, sickness, cancers, diseases, decay, decadence, etc. We must speak only what we ought for our lives to go in God's ordained direction, which is forward and higher. A believer is ordained to go from glory to glory. 2 Corinthians 3:18. If our lives really matter to us, we would never get involved in idle gossips and tale-bearing. Hear what Apostle Peter said: But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
1 Peter 4:15. Think about this, talebearers are in the same category as murderers, thieves and evildoers. And they are destined to suffer. That's the Word of God.

Let us come out of such a habit. Many people don't know they are in this category. The enemy is beguiling. You read the Scriptures and know what it says about gossips, but the enemy makes you believe it's not talking about you. He wants you to remain in that ungodly habit so he can continue to have an advantage over you in that area. Don't let him fool you any longer. Determine to seal your mouth and bridle your tongue. Most often than not, it is idleness of the hands that bring about tale bearing and gossips. We must never be idle. 2 Thessalonians 3:11, 1 Timothy 5:13. An adage says: the idle mind is the devil's workshop and playground. The enemy only has power over us when we cooperate with him. If you have friends who bring ungodly tales to you, let them know you have no part in it. Your life is precious, why sell it cheap to the enemy? The Lord Jesus said we must all give account for every idle word spoken. Matthew 12:36. Cherish your words as precious gems. The Lord opened my eyes about this topic. I never knew how much a transgression it was until recently. I hope we can accept it, and pattern our lives accordingly. ✡️

Reminder: Repent of this habit and determine never to let it control you any longer.

 Thanksgiving and Rejoicing

The Spirit's Word: Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Philippians 4:4 KJV

Rejoice evermore. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:16‭, ‬18 KJV

It doesn't take a spiritual giant to give thanks or rejoice. It is the simplest thing in the kingdom, and yet, one of the most powerful weapons of warfare. We are commanded to ceaselessly rejoice and give thanks to God. It is for our own good. Think about what happens to God when we don't thank Him - absolutely nothing. We learn how to thank our parents, teachers, elders, etc., at a very young age because it is ethical. Most people don't even learn how to pray until they are in adulthood. But singing, rejoicing and giving thanks is a child's nursery rhyme, and it gives the devil and his cohorts a very difficult time. Jesus said: Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?
Matthew 21:16. It pleased God to do it this way. He uses the foolish and base things to mock the naturally wise and strong. He also said His kingdom is for little children. Isn't God so awesome? Heaven's atmosphere is filled with praise, rejoicing and worship. No wonder God Himself is attracted to anyone or place where He is being exalted. Psalm 22:3.

The enemy is cursed, and as such can't know what joy, peace, love, meekness, and the other fruit of the Spirit is. Galatians 5:22-23. All these godly traits are damaging to his personality. Don't think too far. You don't need to research about the devil. In fact, you would get defiled by reading about demons. All you need to do is get all the knowledge available about God, and see the devil on the opposing side of that trait. God is love; Satan is hate. God is good, Satan is full of wickedness. It's just that simple. We must imbibe praise, worship, rejoicing as a lifestyle. This will keep the enemy out of your business. He wouldn't want to have anything to do with you. Don't you know praise and worship is still declaring the Word of God, and poetically at that. God is a happy and joyful Father. God's holy angels who excel in strength and do His commandments are strengthened when we open our lips to praise God, who alone is worthy. You are carrying heaven everywhere you go if you maintain a rejoicing lifestyle.

You don't need all the ammunition in heaven to keep Satan out. We know that God has provided so many. If you would make the Lord your joy, He would be your strength. Nehemiah 8:10. Remember the King who put Levites and singers in front of the war battle line. The enemies destroyed themselves. 2 Chronicles 20. Satan is thrown into confusion when we pour our hearts in praise and thanksgiving. King David was a warrior because of His praiseful lifestyle. He knew what God was capable of doing, especially when that sweet smelling savour of worship goes into His nostrils. Don't play with this mystery. The day you start to lose your joy, just get ready for the enemy to bring in unwanted issues. Faith and joy work together in claiming our possessions in this life. Romans 4:20, Isaiah 12:3. No matter the difficulty or lack being experienced, we can always draw from God with praise. ✡️

Reminder: Let the Lord be your joy. Psalm 95:1-2. He already sees you as His eternal joy. Zephaniah 3:17, .

Jeshurun

The Spirit's Word: There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky. The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
Deuteronomy 33:26‭-‬27 KJV

The scripture above is one out of four in the King James Bible that mentions the name Jeshurun. Many haven't heard it before, and some that have heard do not know the meaning. It isn't popular in Christianity but we must know and understand the meaning. Everything God does has a significance that we ought to pay attention to, if indeed we want to be wise. Jacob started as a supplanter or deceiver. He robbed Esau his brother of his birthright and blessing. Genesis 27:36. Then, on his sojourn, he encountered an Angel of God whom he wrestled with. He was so determined to find God, and He did. We see a transition here. The man who used to be sly now becomes one that wants to dwell with God. He wouldn't let God go until God spoke a blessing into his life. Genesis 32:26. We can see why he is rightly called a Father in Israel. God's direct blessing upon his life surely supplanted what he stole from Esau. Then his name got changed to Israel, which means a prince who wrestled and prevailed with God; having power with both God and men. Genesis 32:28.

That was the turning point for Jacob. We saw how he blessed his children in Genesis 49. Some were favoured while others received curses or hard judgments. Then Moses came on the scene in Deuteronomy 33. Moses had being with God, shared a meal with God, and had the exalted office of one who was over God's entire house. God testified that Moses was more than a prophet, who had seen the similitude of God's form. Numbers 12:6-8. Moses was called the Law by Apostle Paul. 2 Corinthians 3:15. Moses had a higher authority than Jacob. This was why he could overturn the curses and bless the children of Jacob as seen in Deuteronomy 33, except for Dan who was destined for perdition. Jeshurun is an endearing, poetic, and honorable name God uses for the children of Israel. It simply means upright one; just and straight. We come to that point in our lives where we become lovers of God by our actions. We are not seeking to be justified by it because Jesus' blood has already justified us. We just want to be direct with God; no corners, no crookedness, simply because we can now understand His role in our lives.

When we get to this point that God calls us Jeshurun, like the above scripture points, He would do anything to protect us. The enemy would be quickly thrust out for destruction. This is because we have become precious in His eyes. Don't be mistaken, there is God's general love and His specific or concentrated love. John 14:23-24. Many may not understand this because they are all caught up in the grace gospel. Grace brings us in, but obedience promotes us into deeper realms. Just like Moses could only bless the children of Jacob because God calls them the upright and just ones, so also we enter into that dimension of 1 Corinthians 2:9 which says: But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. Jeshurun is a name I love so much, and have been familiar with for quite some time. Take steps to go higher, farther and deeper with God, and you will enter into glorious and excellent realms that no man has ever being.

Manifest! Don't Be Like The Rest

The Spirit's Word: For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Romans 8:19 KJV

As a believer, when you read the above Scripture, how do you feel? What happens in your spirit and soul? Or maybe you don't know what the Scripture posits. When Adam and Eve rebelled, God cursed the ground for their sakes. We know that all plants and animals are products of the ground. Genesis 1:11,24. Plants and animals that didn't commit any sin had to share in our punishment because all creatures are subject to Adam. So, God didn't think it appropriate for man to be in a state of death and corruption, while his subjects remain in perfection. This is why plants wither and animals die. Smite the shepherd and the sheep will scatter. They are waiting for us to save them. It is not God that would save and deliver them from corruption, but man, when He manifests as a son of God. Romans 8:20-22. What does it all mean? Psalm 82:6 tells us we are gods and children of the Most High. Jesus also confirms this in John 10:35. When the Lord cursed the fig tree, He made us understand that all things are possible to the believer. Mark 11:23.

In as much as our physical bodies won't be redeemed until we see Jesus on that day, this does not mean that God has not made divine provision to sustain the mortal body and keep it from corruption, sickness, etc. Hear what Apostle Paul said: But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Romans 8:11. Don't you know we have treasures within us. 2 Corinthians 4:7. I have heard stories of believers praying for their pet animals that recovered and came back to life. This divine life was not made for only man. Hear Isaiah's account of God's will concerning this: The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
Isaiah 11:6‭-‬8. Remember the Prophet Daniel, and how those lions could not devour him. We have so much more than that because of the perfect sacrifice of Jesus.

We can speak over our farmlands to produce however folds of crop we want. Isaac sowed and reaped a hundredfold in a time of famine when agriculture wasn't favourable. If Old Testament folks were walking in this realm of glory, how much more we, who are saved and washed by the eternal blood of the new covenant. The smallest in the Kingdom of God is greater than anyone that lived in the old covenant. Jesus said so. Matthew 11:11. Many are already living in this reality. The smallest thing that is expected of a believer is ensuring no sickness or disease ravage your body which is the temple of God. This is our responsibility - driving out the strangers, aliens, trafficking spirits, etc. If we perfect this, we can move out into the world and do exploits. If we don't, how would the worldly elements hear one who can't look after his own house?
✡️

Reminder: Deposit the Word of God in your heart, and keep speaking all that makes for life and godliness. Holiness and righteousness are trademarks of the manifesting believer.

God's Immutability

The Spirit's Word: In the same way God, determining to point out more clearly to the heirs of the promise the unchanging nature of His purpose, guaranteed it with an oath.
Hebrews 6:17 TLV

One surest security we have in Christianity is God's unchanging nature. He will never ever change His purpose, will or nature. This is where we got the Scripture that God cannot lie or repent, because He is not man. Numbers 23:19. It's in man's nature to do that. This is why His ways are higher than ours. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8. How does this help us? It makes us wiser than the devil. The devil will tell you a lie as there is no truth in him. John 8:44-45. He wants to deceive us so we are turned out of the way, truth and life in Christ. A Word-grounded Christian will easily spot the lies of the devil. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but the Word of God abides forever. Matthew 24:35. The enemy may bring up an obsolete word from the Old Testament to you because it is written. We must be grounded across both Old and New Testaments. Hear what Jesus said: Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
Matthew 13:52. We are told to study to show ourselves approved into God, a workman who rightly divides truth. Knowing which is applicable for the situation at hand. This is important.

Are you a believer who doesn't even know some books in the Bible? You need to wake up. Don't be an open pit where everyone dumps all manner of trash and garbage into. Get on the Word because it is able to save your soul on that evil day. For I am the Lord , I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Malachi 3:6. God keeps reiterating this all through the Scriptures, because the deceiver would thrive when you don't even know what is written about you as a believer. He tried to use the Bible to deceive Jesus. That's how far he would go. Don't be caught off guard. If you are a believer walking in the light of God, glorious things are spoken of us. This brings us into rest. It doesn't matter the image the devil brings to your mind through visions, dreams and your thoughts, cast him out with the Word. This is how we do warfare in the kingdom. Hear what was said: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7. He has no choice but to flee like a defeated foe that he is. The Word of God which we use against him is a Spiritual Sword. Ephesians 6:17. Trust me, God's weapons of battle are not a small thing against the devil; they are mighty. 2 Corinthians 10:4.

Are you a believer, and still getting wrapped up in some religious bondages like laws about food, hair, etc. We have been called to liberty. This is not to say we can do anything we want. All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
1 Corinthians 10:23. There is now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1. There is no occasion for guilt, fear or shame. Our Lord paid a heavy price that covers all, and didn't leave out some things. Take it or leave it. This is the excellency of Christianity. Jesus Christ did not leave a room to the devil. He spoiled him completely. Colossians 2:15. Many have been held bound by visions, dreams and vain imaginations which have come from Satan. Truly, knowing the truth makes free. John 8:32. ✡️

Reminder: Always line up everything with the Word before running with it. This way, you would dwell securely.

Stubborn Rebellion

The Spirit's Word: He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
Proverbs 29:1 KJV

The opening scripture addresses a case of stubborn rebellion. It warns that anyone who constantly rejects correction and reproof while persisting in his misdemeanor or sin would be destroyed suddenly and without remedy. This is not an Old Testament doctrine. Rebellion and stubbornness are as witchcraft and idolatry. 1 Samuel 15:23. Anyone who is in this category is been remotely controlled by the devil for utter destruction. Do you know anyone in this situation? Usually, I pray for those who I feel are in this kind of bondage. They don't know what they are doing. We only do better when we know better. There are forces around and within an individual that aim to take control of that life for their sinister operations of stealing spiritual blessings, killing passion or love for the things of God, and destroying destinies. It's a good thing the Bible says we should make supplications and intercessions for all men. 1 Timothy 2:1. We must not cease to pray for them. No soul deserves to go to hell simply because Jesus paid the price. I pray our Lord's sacrifice won't be in vain.

If you have ever found yourself repeating some dastardly acts over and over again because you keep getting away with it, be it known to you that the enemy is setting you up for a destructive fall. In as much as grace is the current dispensation, it doesn't mean wickedness would prevail. Every man, family, organization, etc., has a cup that must never get full. If this cup gets full, you are finished. It is simple. Cup is prophetic for the wrath of God. Hear what was said: For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Hebrews 10:30‭-‬31. This is in the New Testament. Our God is grace and love; justice and judgment too. Nobody came under His wrath and lived to tell the tale. You can ask Ananias and Sapphira. Acts 5. Let's not get too familiar with God that we neglect one of the most important things being the fear of God. He is first, God before Father.

I will never forget one Sunday morning while in His presence, the Holy Spirit told me I said something stupid about Him in Church that morning. He warned me never to repeat it again. By this time I was confused because it was still early between 5 to 6 am. I hadn't even had a shower or gotten ready for Church. I didn't even know what I would wear to Church. I happened to be a Sunday School Teacher. Lo and behold, I got to Church and was very conscious of the words I would utter that day, and still went on to say the foolish thing He said I was going to say. I couldn't believe what was happening. I even withdrew from fellowshipping with God for a while, because I could only think of Apostle Peter still denying Jesus even after He was told. I saw the futility of man that day, and my life changed dramatically after much reprimand from the Spirit of the Lord. He made me understand that man is but grass. That was the day I was ''baptised'' into the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord. I learned that we can never get it right until we yield completely to God. Don't play with God. ✡️

Reminder: As you mature in the Spirit of God, His tolerance for childishness and gibberish reduces accordingly. I pray someone understands this message.

Stronger-Than-He

The Spirit's Word: But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
Luke 11:20‭-‬26 KJV

The Lord didn't talk much about demons but the little He said summed it all up. Demons are strong but we have angels and the host of heaven who are stronger. Notice here that Jesus refers to strength and not power. There is a big difference. Strength is physical capability while power refers to all round ability and capability. We know from Scripture that angels excel in strength. Psalm 103:20. How is a demon cast out of a man? The finger of God stands for authority. A ring on the finger is also for authority. When giving orders to your subjects, do you see how you move the finger consciously or subconsciously? Go there, come here. Just like the centurion told Jesus he also is a man under authority. Luke 7:8. So when Jesus moves a finger, the angels who are His subjects use violence against such demons. Knowledge and understanding of our authority in the name of Jesus Christ is paramount. As long as you are a believer, you have been gifted the name of Jesus. And His name is higher than every other name. In fact, every knee bows to it. Philippians 2:9-11. Authority works best when you are at peace within yourself.

Demons have a lot of experience with humans. They know who is surefooted, and who is being tossed about. So, they test your resolve, because they sense you don't believe in what you are doing. We must be firm when exercising authority. Apostle James said: Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
James 2:19. I have said it several times that all the demons the Lord has opened my eyes to see were scared. The other day I woke up and was about to pray, and there was one just by the curtains; looking terrified as usual. I didn't even react to the vision, because I was going into prayer already. They know their boundaries. As long as you are walking in the light of God, there is no demon that should faze you. Release the Word in authority. You have angels assigned to you who would throw them out where they belong. The demons who are not inhabiting a human body are already tormented, because the earth is a curse for them. Jesus said they walk about dry places (unfavorable), and seeking rest without ever finding it, except in a human vessel. If you understand this, you would know how weak they are outside a human vessel. This is why it's important to keep guard over your life, so they don't find an open door in.

Every negative emotion or action is inspired by demons. They all have different functions. Their aim is to cause pain, tears, suffering, affliction, death, etc. Stop permitting them. It's time you started taking charge of your life. Don't yield to their evil suggestions and negative impulses. The more you yield your body to sin, the stronger the demon's hold on your life. Whoever commits sin is a servant of sin. John 8:34. It would be difficult for any demon to take your words seriously. Even after the demon leaves, if you continue in sin, it'll come back with seven more sinister demons. This is not the way a child of God should live. God has delivered us from darkness, and given us authority over Satan. Don't let the devil mock you as a child of God, because God can never be mocked. ✡️

Reminder: The issue of demons is a one time thing. Make up your mind to live for God, do away with sin, and demons will never have control over you.

Jesus Silenced His Critics

The Spirit's Word: And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day did anyone venture or dare to question Him.
Matthew 22:46 AMPC

For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
Luke 21:15 KJV

Jesus has being made unto us wisdom. 1 Corinthians 1:30. We also have the Holy Spirit, Who is also the Spirit of Wisdom and Understanding. Isaiah 11:2-3. The Lord faced a lot of negative criticism during His ministry, especially from the Pharisees, Sadducees, Priests and Scribes. Only the poor and needy could relate with Him. This is because God is opposed to the proud and wise. God will never have anything to do with the proud. Have you gotten to the point where you are no longer teachable, meek or submissive? Jesus proved beyond every reasonable doubt that He was the Son of God. Sometimes, when I encounter some resistance during evangelism, I ask them what else they expect Jesus to do for them to believe? As far as I am concerned, He did everything possible. God is not wicked to make this whole thing mysterious and mislead many from believing. He gave us signs, miracles, healings, wonders, mighty works, resurrection, ascension to heaven and many more. He is still doing all these today. What else could man ask for to believe that Jesus came from God the Father? Hear what King Solomon said: Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.
Ecclesiastes 7:29. God made man righteous, straightforward, and believing, but we choose to make things difficult. We love to carve out our own ways, which are imprints of Satan the enemy.

The opening Scripture tells us that Jesus has given the believer a mouth and wisdom that can subdue any criticism, accusation and folly from the adversaries. Anyone opposing our faith in Jesus as the Son of God is an enemy of God. We saw that they killed Him for saying He is the Son of God. The same thing is happening today. You hardly hear about other religions opposing themselves, but Christianity is the enemy of all other religions. We are not surprised because it was spoken of by the Lord. John 16:1-3. It is the devil that fights the faith. He knows Christianity is the only thing that keeps him from achieving his goal of taking the whole world to hell. We can't let him have his way. He has been defeated. So, it doesn't matter what the people on the other side say against us. We know who is behind the scene: that is the real enemy. We have been ordained to silence doubters and mockers. We must be studious. Hear this: Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
Titus 1:9.

We speak the wisdom of God. Hear what Apostle Paul said: And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1 Corinthians 2:4‭-‬8. Two things the world needs from God to believe is wisdom and power, and Christ is both. 1 Corinthians 1:24. People who mock, scorn and gainsay this Gospel continually have their portion with Cain, whose end was woe and perdition. He was a liar and murderer, and showed too much contempt towards God. He became the seed of Satan. Jude 1:10-11.✡️

Reminder: ...I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me. But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
Romans 10:20‭-‬21.

Never Sway From God's Word

The Spirit's Word: My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. James 1:2‭-‬4 KJV

There is no human being on earth who doesn't pass through tests, trials and, temptations as the opening scriptures declare. In material science and engineering, to determine the strength of a material, it must go through at least one test. When the material fractures under load, we get the strength value. King Solomon said a man's strength is small if he faints in the day of adversity. Proverbs 24:10. We also know that God only allows trials, tests, and temptations that are not beyond us. He will also make a way of escape for us by His wisdom that's at work in us. 1 Corinthians 10:13. Many don't even want to hear about trials, tests, and temptations. If you will be great and used mightily by God, this is a nonnegotiable prerequisite. It doesn't matter whether it is an inheritance you received from your wealthy father, you must go through the same for it to be sustained. This is where wisdom comes in.

We don't prevail by physical ability. We need the wisdom of God. After Apostle James penned the opening scripture, he went on to instruct his audience to ask for wisdom from God. James 1:5. The Holy Ghost is the director of affairs when it comes to spiritual things in the life of a believer. God will not tempt you but permits the enemy to do that within certain boundaries. The Holy Ghost is rooting for you to scale through. How do we do that? By the Word of God. No matter what the enemy throws at us, we have prevailed already if you can wield the Word. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57. The patience that is required as the opening Scripture points out can only come from a complete and perfect assurance. This assurance of faith is only the Word of God. If the Word of God wasn't true, we won't have great men and women of God. We wouldn't have father Abraham and the prophets who endured so much hardship but shined as beacons in the night at last.

Some believers have let the world and its systems corrupt the divine patience within them. Patience is a fruit of the spirit. It is one of the virtues that give life to our faith. Others are love, hope, good conscience, etc. We don't wait for the trials and temptations to meet us unprepared. As newborn believers, you must know that this life is a stage by stage set of processes. Jesus compared this kingdom life to a seed that must first be planted, die, watered, sprout, and begin to bring out leaves, then fruits. Many have fallen away because they couldn't wait for God's timing to coincide with their opportune time. God's Word is true. There are no shortcuts. Even when God gives a man speed, it is after he has completed the process. Job 8:7, Zechariah 4:10. We must let the Word saturate us, and renew our minds. Fighting off temptations and trials is one thing while gathering confidence and patiently waiting in hope is another. However, both strongly depend on the Word. Also, never lose your joy in the whole process. ✡️

Reminder: The Holy Ghost is our Helper. We must cooperate with Him by being learned in the Word, which is His raw material.

False Prophets

The Spirit's Word: And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Matthew 24:11 KJV

When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord , if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.
Deuteronomy 18:22 KJV

We are in the last days, and one of the signs the Lord Jesus gave us is that many false prophets shall arise. The purpose of which is to deceive. There are two categories of false prophets: those that know they are false prophets and those who don't. The former have made a direct covenant with the devil and as such, do all his biddings. They live a life of lawlessness and violence behind the scene. They even go as far as human sacrifices in order to attain evil powers. They have demons assigned to them to this end. Simon was a false prophet mentioned in the Acts of the Apostles: But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one: To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God. And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
Acts 8:9‭-‬11. This Simon repented eventually after seeing the power of God wrought by the apostles. This shows that there is hope for a false prophet and everyone, because God's grace is abundant.

The second category of false prophets are those who live a normal christian life but are void of the depths and understanding of the ways and nature of God. The enemy takes advantage of them by making them do his bidding. They believe they are hearing from God but don't know it is the enemy they have been listening to. Sometimes, God withdraws from a prophet when he hasn't obeyed some of His instructions. The devil takes advantage of any situation. The Bible says we should not be ignorant of his devices otherwise he would take undue advantage of us. These prophets innocently listen to the lies of Satan, and he gives them false prophecies, and they get disappointed when it doesn't come to pass. Our God is faithful. Hear this: That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers;
Isaiah 44:26. He will never disappoint his messengers. He is too high to have His name in disrepute. It is important for every messenger and servant of God to be grounded in the Word of God. By this, we understand His will, way, character and nature. The Holy Spirit can take us into depths that Satan would never be able to comprehend.

Today, everyone must be guided. Many false prophets, apostles, teachers, pastors and brethren are out there. Most people are caught up in this because of filthy lucre. Titus 1:11, 1 Peter 5:2. Many are greedy of fraudulent gain, and have lost regard for the things of God that they are willing to pact with the devil to deceive. Sometimes I wonder if these people know about heaven and hell. If you think this world begins and ends in this earth, you are living a miserable life that would only lead to perdition. Heaven and hell are real places in the spiritual world. Repent today and receive Jesus into your life, then live for Him according to what He has commanded in the Word. ✡️

Reminder: Don't be perturbed by any prophecy. The Word of God is the more sure Word of Prophecy for the believer who is walking in the light. 2 Peter 1:19.

Watch Against Spiritual Leopards

The Spirit's Word: Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil.
Jeremiah 13:23 KJV

God's Word is very strong in the opening verse. He compared some people with the leopard that cannot change its spot. In order words, it is almost impossible for them to do good or live righteously, because they are accustomed to doing evil. Recall that Pharaoh didn't yield until he was destroyed. He saw that God was judging him and his people, but he didn't consider it. Some people are so bent on evil without ever repenting. The thought of God is so far from them. Hear what the Psalmist said: The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
Psalms 10:4. It is a dangerous thing to be in this category. You find these people living as if God doesn't exist. God calls them fools. Psalm 14:1. The same is true for many today. There is so much rebellion, revelling, idolatry, narcissism and pride in the world. As a result of knowledge being increased, so also iniquity and pride. Since science has some answers to the world's problems, some people think God should be forgotten. How sad.

A spiritual leopard hunts for the innocent soul. They set up snares for them, and desperately target their blessings, gifts, and endowment. The leopard is an extremely stealth animal. Hunting is their first love. They watch over the innocent soul for as long as it takes in order to make certain they don't miss the kill. Jeremiah 5:6. They are so patient, and whoever they have targeted will not see it coming except for the grace of God. This is because they camouflage as though they don't mean harm. As soon as the unsuspecting target is most vulnerable, they may strike. The world is filled with people like that. Satan manifests himself as Satan to those that know him as the devil and wicked personality that he is. To the rest of the world, he would never come out as a devil. So also, the spiritual leopards amongst us. Hunting is what the enemy has been doing since the day man fell. And his children do take after him. One of those we find in Scriptures is Nimrod, who was a mighty hunter. Genesis 10:8-9.

As children of God, we must watch always. If the enemy is continually watching us, it would be to our disadvantage to be asleep. The Psalmist told us that: The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
Psalms 37:32. Think about it. The enemy is watching you even now. Have you ever thought about the demons assigned to monitor and try to mislead you? What have you been doing about it? Jesus told us to watch and pray. Our spiritual sensitivity in these last days will make a big difference in our lives. Luke 21:36. Many are praying but aren't watching. Some aren't even doing anything. Don't be like the blind man in a fight, throwing blows in the air. 1 Corinthians 9:26. How do you fight the enemy you don't see or know? You must be ahead of your enemy. They will always gather against the children of God. Isaiah 54:15. But God has destined them for destruction. However, we must play our part of watching and praying without ceasing. ✡️

Reminder: Ask God to expose pretenders in and around your life who have come with ulterior motives.

Hope of Salvation

The Spirit's Word: But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
1 Thessalonians 5:8 KJV

Once saved can never be always saved because it is an automatic ticket to live a corrupt and licentious life. Why should I bother to be righteous when I've already gotten the ticket to heaven and eternal life? Thanks be to God who works all things according to the purpose of His own counsel. Whenever salvation is mentioned in the Bible, it is associated with hope just as the opening Scripture posits. Hope is a positive expectation, and not something already attained. Hear what is written: For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
Romans 8:24. We don't see hope. Hope is so powerful, because it makes us confident and expectant on what we can't see. Some believers don't like the idea that some '' Christians'' may not make heaven. It doesn't sound nice, but if we don't preach the truth, many more will fall away. Jesus also said that the very elect will almost be deceived. Matthew 24:24. The very elect here means those in the fore or front lines on the way to heaven. Do you think this is a matter to just brush off like that?

In Ephesians 6:17, just like the opening verse figuratively points out that our salvation should be worn as a helmet. We all know a helmet is not permanently attached to one's head. It could be put on and off at will. Why is the head mentioned here? The head is where the brain is - where logic and reasoning happens. It is where we remember details of the past or what we have read. A constant reminder that this salvation must not be taken lightly as we must work it out with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12. Also, the head is one section of the body that is very sensitive and vulnerable, especially on the battlefront. Once the enemy shoots the head, that's the end of that life except for divine intervention. It must be highly protected. We must protect our salvation more than anything. We do this by maintaining our righteousness and holiness as given to us by the Lord. Matthew 22:11-14, 1 Corinthians 1:30, Revelations 16:15.

Finally, five of the five senses of a human body are located on the head - eyes to see, nose to smell, tongue to taste, ears to hear and skin to feel. It cannot be overemphasised. We are in a battle and what do you think of the enemy? He wants to strip you of these armour as mentioned in Ephesians 6. Don't be deceived to think it is an impossibility. Know that we all have a responsibility to wear the armour, and to stand our ground in battle. If you are sleeping, the enemy will come and quickly hit you hard. You won't see it coming, because he has been at this game from time immemorial. Jesus strictly warns us to watch and pray. We must take every commandment of Scriptures seriously, because it is for our own good. Another issue is that some have lost hope in anything. Be it known to you that without hope, we cannot be saved. When you wait for someone, you don't go off doing the contrary, else you would miss that one when they finally arrive. ✡️

Reminder: Read the parable of the wise and foolish virgins. Matthew 25.

God and No Excuses

The Spirit's Word: And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
John 9:1‭-‬4 KJV

Our God hates excuses. The opening Scripture clearly tells us that. God is not in the business of explaining failures. He is in the business of now, and the works that bring glory to His holy name. Jesus didn't analyse the man's situation. His demeanor was of one that had a job to do and was urgent about it. This is why I usually say the devil is not a factor. God will not show you mercy because the devil outsmarted you, but because of His love for you. He won't be lenient with you because a man or woman did something terrible to you. Rather, He looks at your actions and reactions apart from what was done to you. Surely, He has said vengeance belongs to Him. We must understand what is within His jurisdiction. God wants us to do the work He has given us unreservedly and without excuses. After all, the Scripture is clear: I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13.

If we would stay where God put us, things wouldn't be so hard or complicated. Remember the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Jude 1:6. They left heaven and went after earthly desires. They were doing what was totally contrary to their purpose and nature. Of course, they paid dearly for it. He is a God of purpose and order. From the creation story, He made all things with precision and order. We tend to give excuses because we go out of line with the business God entrusts to our care or stewardship. We must be of definite purpose, and do the things we were called to do. King Saul lost everything including his life and portion with God, because he thought he could also deputise as a priest, thereby showing contempt for God's holiness.

Think about it. The most enterprising and industrious people don't get there by excuses. We may fail here and there, but take the blame and forge ahead. Anybody that places the blame on something else other than themselves is not ready to make headway in life. To be a people of great works and progress, don't blame another person for your failures. Own up to the responsibility and learn from previous mistakes or misdeeds. God will not take you seriously if you keep passing the buck all over the place. I have also exhorted myself not to take anyone in this category seriously. They will slow you down, or even worse ensure you don't make any progress. Someone with this mentality is already a defeatist in the mind, how then can he or she make real success out of any situation. What we must do is find out our purpose, learn all it takes to accomplish it, and do it while walking with God. ✡️

The Blood of Jesus

The Spirit's Word: And they overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Revelation 12:11 KJV (bracketed word mine)

Recently, the Lord told me what witches and evil personalities are scared of the most is His blood. We find this true in the opening text. We know that Jesus has brought us victory over all the forces of darkness. However, we contend to make it a reality. We make war and fight the good fight of faith, but victory is by the Blood of Jesus. Why is the devil easily dispatched by the blood? This is because the blood is sinless and holy. 1 Peter 1:19. The enemy has no answer to anything holy, pure and without blame. That's what the precious blood of Jesus provides us - righteousness and sanctification. Revelation 7:14. The blood speaks, as we see in Genesis 4:10 with righteous Abel. Jesus' blood speaks perfection over the lives of the saints. Hebrews 12:24. We partake of His eternal life when we drink His blood in the communion as He prescribed for us. John 6:53. I know some believers run away from the communion because of sin in their lives. It is not a wise thing to run away from what can save you.

The Old Testament priests used the blood of lambs, bulls and goats for the cleansing of the people of Israel from their sins. It didn't remit sin, but covered it. Now, Jesus' blood has remitted all our sins, and continually cleanses us from all sin today. Matthew 26:28, 1 John 1:7. We have been reconciled to God by the blood of Jesus, and now have peace with God. Ephesians 2:13. We also enter into the holiest by the blood. Hebrews 10:19. This is the secret to the secret place every preacher is talking about today, even though many don't experientially know what they are talking about. The blood is the ticket. I have heard some teaching that believers are not to plead the blood of Jesus over their lives. Perhaps, we should ask those teaching where they got their doctrine from. Everything in this kingdom is personally activated or triggered by words. 2 Corinthians 4:13. Plead the blood over your life, loved ones, your local church and everything that concerns you on a daily basis, and watch how Satan stays away completely. ✡️

Reminder: The Lord saved me from an accident by His voice that came early enough, that I should plead His blood. When the accident happened, I came out totally unscathed. It works when we speak or proclaim it.

The Old Vs The New

The Spirit's Word: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Genesis 3:15 KJV

God never changes. However, He change His covenant with man. The opening Scripture is God Himself making a decree on what should follow. Some Christians will hold on to this Word without realising it has been replaced by something better. Hear what the Lord Jesus said: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Luke 10:19. Can you spot the difference? The Old tells us the serpent shall be able to hurt us, but the new says nothing shall by any means hurt us. By any means is what it is. Both Scriptures are found in the Bible, and said by the same God. This is why we are admonished to study to be approved by God, and also rightly divide the Word of Truth. This way, we would never be put to shame. 2 Timothy 2:15.

This is very important. I always tell my friends and acquaintance to have a Bible study plan where you go through the entire Bible over a period of time, over and over again. Don't rely on devotional references. Know the Scripture for yourself, especially in these last days. I have had experiences of the devil giving me Scriptures from the Old Testament in order to keep me in bondage. But thanks be to the Holy Ghost who is always on time to bring to my remembrance what the New Covenant is all about. John 14:26. We must know the Word in and out. Don't underappreciate any book in the Bible. Know them all as they can save you from deception and manipulation of the devil. Jesus told us: every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
Matthew 13:52. Satan's tricks and craftiness knows no limit. We must not be casual with spiritual things. ✡️

Reminder: If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? Psalms 11:3 KJV
According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 3:10‭-‬11 KJV

Singing Acceptable Songs

The Spirit's Word: For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
Psalms 47:7 KJV

What is it then?... I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
1 Corinthians 14:15 KJV

Believers must know that God is a very detailed personality. The construction of the Old Testament tabernacle shows this. He told Moses to ensure He followed the pattern as shown to Him in the visions of the heavenly tabernacle. Exodus 25:9. Details matter to God. Our God is excellent, and a perfectionist at that. Many sing songs because it appeals to them. The Psalmist told us to sing praises with understanding. God inhabits the praises of His people. Psalms 22:3. We don't want to tell Him the wrong things which may grieve Him, or cause Him not to dwell with us. This is why the New Testament places singing in the spirit before singing with the understanding as seen in the opening text. In the aspect of prayer, the Holy Ghost told us we do not know what and how to pray, so He helps us when we pray in tongues. The same can be said for singing as we ought to sing. Not every song we hear can bless the Lord's heart. This is why all our prayers and worship must go through the Holy Spirit who sanctifies and purifies it, making it acceptable.

Jesus answered the Samaritan woman that God seeks true worshippers apart from location. The elements for true worship is Spirit and Truth. John 4:35. Truth is God's reality: what is true, right and correct in His light. King David gave us the song: Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise. Psalms 100:4. This song is obsolete under the New Covenant. We are now the temple of God. 1 Corinthians 6:19. The song: Ancient of Days, as old as you are... '' is wrong. God is not old. We use the word old for things that are subject to time. Perhaps, someone can tell us how old God is. God dwells outside time. He is the ageless one. That should be the right word to replace the word old. Let us endeavour to vet every song lyric with New Testament reality. The Berean believers did that and God testified that they were more honourable and noble. Acts 17:11. We must give honour to God by giving Him truthful and acceptable praise and worship. ✡️

Reminder: One of man's purposes in life is to worship God. Let's do it God's way.

Out of Body Experience (OBE)

The Spirit's Word: I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knowethwink such an one caught up to the third heaven.
2 Corinthians 12:2 KJV

Life is spiritual. We won't stop saying it. It doesn't matter the number of skeptics and naysayers, we know what we are talking about. Some people don't believe the spiritual aspect of life. It's just sheer pride, overly carnal, and wilful ignorance to be in that category. Everything physical was birthed first in the spirit. Hebrews 11:3. Apostle Paul talked about the possibility of an out of body experience. Many have died, and had their spirits wandering before they returned to their bodies by the mercy of God. I started seeing demons from the age of 10 years. I couldn't understand it. They would always come to me at nights and oppress me. The ignorant and politically correct folks euphemize this into a term called sleep paralysis. It is beyond the physiological. I would see this demons with my physical eyes in the same room with me, and then something starts to happen to me. It manifested as being unable to move any part of my body , swallowing my tongue, choking for air, my legs getting tied up, a weight on my chest, etc. It was a terrible thing.

I remember one time some years back, the demon came and I could see it just floating over me in my bed. It had flashes of electricity on its visage, and had the face of a rat and bear combined. I couldn't move but was not afraid. I decided to do nothing. Suddenly, I sat up on my bed. But I couldn't see anything because it was so dark before me. Then I realised it was my spirit that sat up because I turned to see my body still lying on the bed. In that darkness, I could still see my physical body lying on the bed. I was lost for words and thoughts in that brief moment. Miraculously, a hand hit my chest and forced me back into my body. That was how I woke up. God saved me from the devil's wickedness and cruelty. He wanted to cut short my destiny, but mercy said No. This is why I preach about the cruelty of Satan. He knows those that are a threat to his manipulations and endless cruelty. We must wake up and be alive to God. ✡️

Reminder: knowledge and understanding of God's Word, along side obedience keeps the enemy beneath you. Ephesians 1:20-22, 2:6.
2 Corinthians 10:6.

Faith Communications

The Spirit's Word: That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
Philemon 1:6 KJV

I love the opening verse. Some other translations use the words partnership, sharing, participation and fellowship in the place of communication. Our Christianity is a life of faith from start to finish with the Lord Jesus being the Author and Finisher of it. Hebrews 12:2. God has given every man the measure of faith. Romans 12:3, and everything we desire according to God's will is according to our faith. I believe there is no believer that doesn't want his or her faith to be always effectual. Effectual means producing the desired or intended result. Faith works, but many don't know how. The Scripture says by the acknowledging of every good thing which God has deposited in you, because you belong to Christ. Ephesians 1:3, 2 Peter 1:3-4. All things are yours, so says the Word of God. 1 Corinthians 3:21. It is so because we put our faith in a good God through His Son Jesus Christ, who is our Lord. Have a solid foundation on this truth. Can you dare to totally believe it? That's your starting point. But how can you believe what you don't know?

This brings us to the word '' acknowledgement''. First, the root word is knowledge. This is knowing about something. Having the details of an information. It is being aware of that thing. To acknowledge also means to admit, agree with, recognise it and declare it in belief. It also means to be grateful. When you acknowledge something, you lay claim to it as yours. I found some synonyms for this word: avow, proclaim, confess, own, admit, allow and concede along side the ones already mentioned. In the case of healing, get His Word. How he healed all that came to Him. Matthew 8:17. It doesn't matter the illness, it's the same to God. It is man that puts a difference between them. Ask yourself if you want to remain sick. If your answer is no, then start acknowledging what God said about it. Say it violently until you see your intended results. The devil wanted to give me arthritis during the early stages of this lock down, but I said no. It took violent confessions plus constant walking. I made sure I did not rest or sit down until it was all gone, and it did. It's all yours for the taking because God cannot lie. ✡️

Reminder: If people would use their mouths right, many would be out of their problems in no time.

Baptism of Fire

The Spirit's Word: But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap: And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.
Malachi 3:2‭-‬3 KJV

The Lord Jesus commissioned His apostles to go into the world, teach and make disciples of every nation; baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 28:19. These are three different baptisms which Jesus talked about, and not water baptism as some denominations teach. When we receive Jesus as Lord, and are baptised in water, we are baptised in the Son. This qualifies us for eternal life. John 3:3-5, Romans 6:3-5. We become new creatures in Christ after His likeness. 1 John 4:17. Holy Spirit baptism is what follows after this. It is imparted through the faith of the individual or laying on of hand by one called and ordained by Jesus into one of the ministerial offices. Acts 8:14-17. With the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to be witnesses for Christ. Acts 1:8. Also, He lavishes the gifts of the Spirit on us to edify the Body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:1-13. Any believer who refuses to speak in tongues doesn't have the Holy Spirit, or continues to grieve Him. Speaking in tongues is one of the Spirit's manifestation. We received Him as a Helper, and tongues is one major way He helps us. Romans 8:26-27.

The Baptism of Fire is that of the Father. He dwells in a light no man can approach. 1 Timothy 6:16. Light shines and burns. John 5:35. Fire is for purification. This is why devils can't stand it. God is holy and pure. The Holy Ghost does a sanctification work on the yielded believer, so that the Father can dwell in Him. John the baptist talked about this, just like the opening Scripture. Matthew 3:11-12. The Fire of God is to purify us from evil plantings of the enemy. Isaiah 4:4-6. When we are purified, we can offer acceptable sacrifices to God. It's all about the fire which is representative of His love. When you carry the fire of God, demons will always react to it when you are near. It is instant judgment on the oppressors and the wicked. Malachi 3:5, Malachi 4:1-3. Jesus is the baptiser of both the Holy Ghost and fire. Seek Him continually to carry this fire. God desires we offer up acceptable sacrifices from purged and purified vessels. The fire perfects what is twisted and perverted. ✡️

Reminder: Jesus came to reveal the trinity, and the kingdom. He desires that we enter into the fullness of it all.
