� Ruling over your Enemies

The Spirit's Word: Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
Psalms 2:8‭-‬9 KJV


King David was God's anointed King who also functioned deeply in the prophetic, especially on the subject of the Messiah. He loved God and God made a covenant with Him that the Lord Jesus should proceed from his earthly lineage. This is why the Lord is called the Son of David. No prophet gave detailed prophecies like King David did. The second Psalm is a Messianic one that predicted the resistance the Lord Jesus should face, and how He would be given dominion over the heathen. The heathen are ungodly men and women; puns of the devil, who would go any distance to resist and fight against the Lord Jesus, His seed and all He represents. This is a timely message because we are in the end times, and the Body of Christ is seeing and experiencing a great resistance from diverse versions of heathenry.

We are the anointed of the Lord. 1 John 2:27. As he is so are we. 1 John 4:17. We are His Body, His Church and His Bride. We are one with the Lord. 1 Corinthians 6:16-20. Hence, the Scripture refers to us also. There is no external power that can match the power of Jesus. In truth, all power has been given to Him by God Almighty. Matthew 28:18-20. He disarmed the devil in hell and led a host of them captive. He stripped Satan and his hosts of all that they stole from Adam. Satan didn't get it legally or fairly in the first place. The devil is no longer the lord of man. The power he still wields against man is as a result of ignorance and sin that still persists on the earth.

To have the heathen for an inheritance means they are now subject to the Believer until they come into Christ. The Lord Jesus died for us. He doesn't expect all Christians to be martyred. We are to represent Him as His anointed ones in demonstration of power and authority. Breaking one with a rod of iron is to display God's power until they are broken and acknowledge God's sovereignty. God has not placed a restriction to the demonstration of His Sovereignty through the Church. By all means, men must be saved. As many that try to frustrate the plans and purposes of God will be crush and grinded to powder. Matthew 21:44. �

� Chapter of Love

The Spirit's Word: Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
1 Corinthians 13:4‭-‬8 KJV

One of the most powerful revelations in Scripture is found in Apostle Paul's first letter to the Corinthian Church. In Chapter 13, he addressed the highest goal every believer ought to attain to. As it was then, many in the church today think power and the gifts of the Spirit seal up the sum. Every anointed man of God do make mistakes when it comes to administering the gifts of the Spirit, because we know in part. The power of God is highly abused today. Many run after power and Anointing. It is not bad to go after it, but the motive is the issue. We were told that love is the more excellent way. 1 Corinthians 12:31. The opening scripture tells us every other thing will fail or cease except for love, because God is love. 1 John 4:8. God can never fail.

A most profound part of this chapter is verse seven: Love puts up with all things, trusts in all things, hopes for all things, endures all things.
1 Corinthians 13:7 CEB. Love doesn't retaliate or run away from problems. It bears up burdens. Jesus could have gotten away from the Roman soldiers, but He took that final burden for us. This is so hard without the grace of God but we must have this mind also. Love trusts, even when you have been wronged over and over again. Why should I keep falling for the same tricks by that same person, someone might ask? That's love for you. It gives no room to doubt. I know that only a scanty minority can accept this. Love is not an easy road. We must ask God to help us develop to that stature of Christ.

Love hopes for all things. Love will never give up on anyone or situation. We know hope is powerful. Hope actually keeps us alive; that's how powerful hope is. Love endures all things. Endurance is patience mixed with hope in very harsh or difficult circumstance. Love is the greatest force in the whole world. This is why John 3:16 remains the most powerful verse in the Bible. Both believers and unbelievers know this Scripture, and it is truly an epitome of the Scriptures. We cannot ascend to God's holy Hill without having this quintessential quality of God, which is God Himself. Psalms 15 and 24. Love is the core of God. Let's love God, and one another as He taught us to. �

� Uncertain Riches

The Spirit's Word: Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
1 Timothy 6:17 KJV


When you trust something or someone, you have faith in it or them because they have come through for you before. You are loyal to them and lean on, or rest in them. We should never put our trust in riches because true riches come from God. God should be trusted. We should not even trust men. Jeremiah 17:5. God said whoever trusts in man is cursed. Someone may say: really? What about my husband or wife? Should I be married and not trust them? That's the only exception because the two become one flesh. Riches are good when we put them in their place. We must know that everything under creation is designed by God to fight against any man that tries to replace God with it. Romans 1:18-22. This is why riches can develop wings and fly away, because it was not designed to received worship on behalf of its Creator. Proverbs 23:5.

God gives us all things good to enjoy, and not to turn away from Him and begin to pledge allegiance to the blessing rather than the Blesser. Make no mistake about it, the works of God was finished from the foundation of the world. God doesn't need to fight you who puts riches before Him. His Jealousy is on standby to do that. Exodus 34:14. Anything coming before God has taken His place, and this is idolatrous, or whoredom. We can't serve both God and any other thing. Hear it from Jesus: You can’t worship two gods at once. Loving one god, you’ll end up hating the other. Adoration of one feeds contempt for the other. You can’t worship God and Money both.
Matthew 6:24 MSG.

Some folks would do anything for money. Be ready to do anything for God, and not for money. In some offices and organisations, people trample upon one another for more money, promotion, fame, position, etc. Some go as far as consulting with oracles of demons to achieve this. This is twice wrong. Don't get muddled up in iniquity because of uncertain riches. If your eyes and heart are on God, he would provide all you need. Matthew 6:31-33. Riches are not worth going to hell for. Also, our love or devotion to God should not be for material goods. That's a faulty foundation. The same way no one likes a gold digger. Sincerity of purpose is important with God.

Reminder: True riches belong to God and His children. Revelation 5:12. Let go of greed and just be a child after the Father's heart.

� Gratitude to God

The Spirit's Word: In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV

Thanksgiving is what we owe God. It doesn't matter what you are going through or surrounded with. We are told to give thanks in everything. We didn't write an exam before being gifted this life by God. We were not reading out design plan or dictating to Him when God fashioned us in the womb. This is the reason God says we must be grateful always. Gratitude make our lives better. The opposite of gratitude is bitterness, and it defiles the spirit, soul and eventually the body if not checked. Hebrews 12:15, Proverbs 17:22. Don't be lazy or lackadaisical about this issue. Even Jesus gave thanks all the time. The leper who returned got a complete turnaround because he laid it to heart to be grateful to God. Luke 11:17-19.

Some reasons for ungratefulness are: an evil eye, greed, selfishness, ungodliness, unbelief, contempt, profanity, etc. The reasons suggests the individual is far away from God as the negative attributes mentioned cannot be found around God. Let's look into our lives and ask ourselves, do we really deserve the goodness and blessings we received? This is why we must never be boastful. Boastful people find it hard to give thanks. They attribute everything to their effort and personality. Let's never forget that the world didn't begin yesterday and many who towed that line ended up in destruction. Cain was in that category and we all saw what befell him. The enemy took advantage of his ungrateful lifestyle, and he was cut off from the presence of God, and tagged the son of Satan. Genesis 4:16, 1 John 3:12.

Satan (formerly Lucifer) was perfect in all his ways until iniquity was found in him. Ezekiel 28:15. Think about it. What brought about his rebellion, pride and jealousy? Ungratefulness. If he was grateful to God for his position and authority, he would never have left his estate and plotted to attain to an unreachable height above the heavens. Imagine what ungratefulness has caused. It's a serious matter. The Bible admonishes us to be content with food and clothing. 1 Timothy 6:8. Also, godliness and contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6. Ungratefulness has led to evil ambitions, which has sent many to an early grave. �

Reminder: Let's learn from the lives of Cain and Satan, and we won't be caught in ungratefulness towards God.

� Are you small enough?

The Spirit's Word: Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord , which run to and fro through the whole earth.
Zechariah 4:6‭-‬7‭, ‬10 KJV

The Bible records that King David was a man of small stature, but God used him mightily. 1 Samuel 17:42. God used Moses at 80 years old after he had done all the sojourning of life. Today, Moses is an unforgettable character in the Bible. What about Samson? He was not a giant but a man of normal stature. However, he made life unbearable for the Philistines who had Israel under servitude, without an army of Israeli soldiers. Looking at these men, they were just ordinary men with flaws like every other person. God called them from a very humble beginning and used them for His glory. They all started small. Are you small enough for God to use you also?

The opening Scripture clearly tells us that our ability is futile. Only the Spirit of God can bring about exploits. Daniel 11:32. Exploits are the supernatural works of God wrought through a man like we have the abovementioned heroes for our examples. Mountains are only moved by the Spirit of God. We know that mountains represent age long strongholds and problems that confront man. We must be little in our own eyes, and before God. Apostle Paul knew this when he said: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities...: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
2 Corinthians 12:9‭-‬10.

Truly, we have been given authority and power. Let us never forget we can only wield it by alignment to God, His Will and Word. We are warned not to magnify ourselves. We must cherish humble beginnings. Even when God has made us great and greatly envied by all as Isaac was, our glorying must always be in the Lord. The beatitudes was the first sermon preached by Jesus about the kingdom, and He highlighted the character of the believer in those things mentioned. It was the first, and as such, the most important thing a believer must never ignore to exhibit. For instance, if we hunger and thirst after righteousness, and we are filled, does it mean we should no longer hunger? Matthew 5:2-11. Think about it. �

� Wise as Serpents?

The Spirit's Word: Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
Matthew 10:16‭-‬17‭, ‬22‭-‬23 KJV

Firstly, let's correct the notion of being wise as Serpents. I have seen many who quote this Scripture when they operate in deception, guile and white lies as they call it. This is definitely not the wisdom Jesus was talking about. The devil is a liar and deceiver. How can our Lord admonish us to be like that? Definitely not! The serpent being referred to here is the actual animal, a snake. What are the characteristics of a snake that makes it so wise? Genesis 3:1. The snake is one of the most inconspicuous animals. It knows how to hide from Invaders and prey alike. It is also a good predator. It is a very patient animal, and when it goes for a kill, it barely misses. Most times, a snake sees you before you see it, that's if you get to see it. These are the attributes a soul winner must acquire, because soul winning is warfare.

Jesus made this statement only for the purpose of soul winning. Read the opening text: I send you forth...Take time to read the whole chapter. They persecuted Him and He told us we shouldn't expect less. Jesus only surrendered to them because His time had come. Matthew 26:2. Recall how He eluded the Jews when they tried to kill Him earlier: And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. But he passing through the midst of them went his way,
Luke 4:28‭-‬30. See John 10:39. Apostle Paul was warned by the Holy Ghost on different occasions not to go to Jerusalem as He would not survive the persecution. But his passion for the Jews and Gospel made him disregard the warnings. So he was martyred. Acts 21:10-14.

We must have it settled that as we go out to preach the Gospel, we are like sheep amidst wolves. We cannot afford to be stupid or undiscerning. The way the Holy Spirit dwells in you, who do you think dwells in the body of the heathen? We were once under the bondage and power of the devil until God delivered us. Colossians 1:12-13. The enemy, Satan, will never fight fair. He is violent and full of wickedness. The world is his market place and he has been trading since the fall. Ezekiel 28:15-19. The Lord would not want our time on the earth to be cut short when there is still so much to be done. Let's be wise. �

Reminder: But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

� Spiritual trafficking

The Spirit's Word: Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
Revelation 18:10‭-‬13 KJV

Many of us know that the world is a market place. Spiritual buying and selling is a constant at any given time. What do I mean? After Satan's rebellion, he was cast out of heaven and every good thing he had became corrupted as filth. Isaiah 14:19-20. In order for him to survive, he has to trade or steal. John 10:10. Now, he has his eye on man because man was made in God's image and has access to all that God made - spiritual blessings. If the devil does not steal or trade, he remains as a carcass. The opening Scripture is figurative of prosperity, redemption, riches, purity, righteousness, Anointing, strength, health, prayers, etc. We trade these things when we slumber, or are disobedient to God, or accept the enemy's lies and doubt God. Satan is an unauthorized merchandizer and trafficker. Ezekiel 28:16-18.

We are in the last days and the Antichrist is already at work. Jesus warns us that even the Elect will be deceived, and hence, the time was shortened. Matthew 24:22-25. Let me warn you: don't ever take lightly the deception of the enemy, especially that Antichrist. Hear it again: don't think you cannot fall for the deception of the Antichrist. He would use the same Word of God to deceive the Elect, and shall also come out of the Church of God before manifesting himself. The enemy has nothing to offer anyone but filth and death. If he promises you riches, it's the one he stole in the first place, and now gives you with sorrow, corruption and bondage. He is a taskmaster and slavedriver. I have said it before that no one desires filth or corruption, even Satan detests it, hence he targets God's spiritual blessings.

God also trades but fairly and righteously. This is brought about by the fall as man went a different path from his Creator. He desires obedience and sincerity. He desires truth in the innermost parts. He desires faith and trust in Him. Most importantly, love for Him and our neighbours. His blessings make rich and adds no sorrow to it. He does not bring us under bondage or impose on our will. Keep yourselves undefiled from the pollution of the enemy. If only you can see his true state. No one settles for the gutters, sewage pit, refuse dump or graveyard. That's the habitation of the enemy, and all he can give you is from his cesspit. �

Reminder: God has called us to buy from Him without money. Isaiah 55:1. He is a good Father who has given us all things richly. 1 Timothy 6:17.

� Ananias and Sapphira

The Spirit's Word: But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, ...why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things...And it was about the space of three hours when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things. And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch. And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)
Acts 5:3‭-‬14 KJV

Many of us know the story of Ananias and Sapphira, the couple that planned to deceive the Spirit of Truth, and met their death. The Holy Ghost killed them as the Bible recorded. The Apostles were in one accord, and this was the beginning of the Holy Ghost's ministry in the new testament. There was a synergy of both God and man, that nothing could interfere or disrupt it. Ananias did not just sin or transgress, they plotted evil and had enough time to plan their iniquity. Iniquity is the highest kind of rebellion. They allowed the devil come into the fold, but they ought to have known better. Jesus said: whosoever this Stone shall fall upon shall be grinded to powder. Matthew 21:44.

Let's talk about Peter. He had the anointed for that kind of operation of the Holy Ghost. The extent of our alignment with the Godhead determines the extent of gifts, callings and operations of the Spirit we receive. We don't see this kind of operation today because many men and women are not ready to pay the price for it. It calls for a deep and intimate walk and fellowship with the Holy Trinity. The Bible records: Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
1 Corinthians 12:4‭-‬7. There is a reason for every gift, administration or calling, and operation - to bring profits and dividends into the Kingdom.

The latter part of our opening text tells us great fear came upon them all in the church and them that heard abroad. This led to many signs and wonders, which eventually brought multitudes into the Kingdom. Everything the Lord does is for His glory, and for souls to be won. Let's pay attention to this Scripture and reintroduce the fear of God in our conduct as believers. This way, there will be a mighty move of God in our midst, of which no element of darkness can thrive. �

Reminder: The Anointing comes in different shapes and sizes, but with only one purpose - service. By all means, souls must be won and God must get all the glory.

� Do you know the Father?

The Spirit's Word: And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
John 11:42 KJV


The Father knows all His children as there no knowledge hidden from Him. But do we know our heavenly Father? This is a question everyone must honestly answer. The Scripture above is part of the discussion Jesus had with the Father at Lazarus' tomb, just before calling the dead out of the grave. Think about that confidence and trust which is so profound. The statement only tells me one thing: Jesus was more aware and conscious of His Father than the people around Him. He told us that the He and the Father are one. John 10:30. This is perfect fellowship, intimacy, and marriage. He could not be separated from the Father, no matter what was happening around Him. As a result of this oneness that surpassed knowledge, the Father always came through for Him during His earthly ministry.

Think about it. What are you conscious of? How many times do you find yourself lost in thought just thinking of the Father? When you wake up in the morning, what is the first thing you think about? There is no morning when I wake up that I don't hear from the Father. It's not possible. I know the secret. I am God-conscious all the time. There was a night when a demon came into my room. I was asleep but my spirit was well aware of what was happening. The second it came to my mind that this has got to be a demon, I lifted my head in spiritual anger and it was my spirit that rebuke the demon, and it fled. I'm saying my physical or bodily ear heard my spirit's voice. This is one of the possibilities when you are constantly conscious of God.

Honestly, this is all the Father asks of us. Fellowship. The more we are in fellowship with God, the deeper He takes you into dimensions untold. Who wouldn't want to dwell on God's holy Hill. The conditions are not grievous. Psalm 15. We must make up our minds on issues that concern God because He will never double deal or be intimate with one who does. It's all or nothing. God is calling us into a deeper place everyday. Psalms 42:7. He wants to own us - body, soul and spirit. When we surrender, He comes by Himself to dwell in you - His temple. Believers need to know that when you receive Jesus into your life, the Holy Spirit resides in you. However, there is a point when the Father Himself comes. Your body, soul and spirit must be prepared by sanctification of the Holy Spirit before this can happen. Please read John 14:23-26. �

Reminder: The baptism of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are all different from one another. We must not settle for one and think that's all there is to this life. Have you experienced the Father, Son and Holy Ghost discussing about you? It's beautiful.

� Sanctification

The Spirit's Word: But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
1 Corinthians 1:30 KJV


The Lord Jesus has made us holy. Sanctification is a separation unto God as holy for His use. It is a work of the Holy Spirit. In the old testament, when the items of the tabernacle were anointed with the holy anointing oil, they became holy and fit for use of service to God, and the glory cloud usually descended. Numbers 7. It's a dedication unto God. God will only inhabit a holy place. Darkness cannot coexist with God. John 1:5. God requires and demands our holiness because He is holy. He also desires to use us powerfully and mightily for His glory. For this cause the Holy Spirit sets us apart with a seal. Ephesians 1:13. This is purely a separation from the world as a natural man, but now as supernatural. We still have the responsibility of cooperating with the Sanctifier for a thorough work on our body and soul.

A pig that is washed can only remain clean if it will not go back to the miry clay or mud. The same way the Scriptures admonishes: If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
2 Timothy 2:21‭-‬22. To purge is to totally remove everything within a vessel that is not consistent with the original content. If we sin after being in Christ, we are defiled. We allow the filth of the enemy into our lives, and perhaps Satan sows evil seeds that leads to corruption and death.

We purge ourselves by abstaining from sin and the pollution of the enemy while following after God. Purging takes a lot of time . If you are a man of visions, you would understand that the Holy Spirit takes His time in this process of removing every filth that defiles a man or woman. Don't forget we are a city set on the hill spiritually. Matthew 5:14. When a believer lives in sin, you have no idea the kind of defilement the demons of hell bring into your life. They are always looking for habitations that aren't theirs. Jesus said when an unclean goes out of a man, he will come back and find the place swept clean. They always bring in defilement. Matthew 12:43-45. Hence, they are unclean. You cannot be clean and unclean at the same time. Grace is not a cover up. �

Reminder: God's habitation is light, void of darkness and filth, while the enemy dwells in rottenness and all things that offend.

� Stillness and Spiritual Strength

The Spirit's Word: For thus saith the Lord God , the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
Isaiah 30:15 KJV



In the old testament, the most holy place was God's dwelling place. Only the high priest could enter in. It was a place of quietness. The secret place is noiseless. You will not hear God if you don't know how to be still. Psalms 46:10. The opening Scripture tells us how to find spiritual strength: by quietness and confidence. Think about all the noise and activities surrounding us, which are constantly bombarding our minds. The soul is the bridge between the spirit and body - what we see, hear and feel. With all this, it is clear that the spirit is most times not involved in our daily lives. This ought not to be the case. This is why we don't see spiritual entities like angels and spirits as we would like to see them. However, God has shown us the way to touch His heart and mind.

We must be a people of stillness and trust. God is always easy to find when we just put off all the natural things that distract us. Remember Elijah could only find God in the still small voice. 1 Kings 19:11-13. This is the wisdom God has unveiled to His saints. It doesn't make human sense to just be quiet, patient, and not do anything. However, that's the way to strength, power and the voice of the Lord that's powerful and full of majesty. Psalms 29:4. This is the principle. The flesh fights against the spirit and vice versa. Galatians 5:17. If you want a higher spiritual activity in your life, you must reduce the natural and environmental activities. Remember Mary and Martha. Mary sat still at the Master's feet while Martha was busy with chores. Jesus testified that Mary had the better part. Luke 10:38-42. The more we allow the noise, confusion and distractions around us to speak to us, the less we are able to hear, see or touch the mind of God.

In our quietness and stillness before the Lord, we build up the altar of the secret place where there is a transfusion of God's ability into our spirits, and consequently, it imparts our minds, consciousness and bodies. Sometime ago, I had a stomach trouble. I had done all I knew to do: pray, anointing oil and communion. In my pain and distress, the Spirit of God told me to be still. This happened in the middle of the night, and I obeyed. After a minute or so, I felt the Spirit of God just coursing through my body and then, I fell asleep. By the time I woke up 20 minutes later, the pain was gone like it was never there in the first place. This is one of the benefits of stillness, and doing it God's way. �

Reminder: God won't subject Himself to our ways. The earlier we start cooperating with Him, the better our lives become. He will distinguish you if you will honour this call.

� No Secret Place, No Safety!

The Spirit's Word: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord , He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
Psalms 91:1‭-‬3 KJV

The title of today's message is a direct Word from the Lord. He has instructed me to warn His people because we have entered a season of shaking. God is shaking all things and anyone that is not founded on the Rock (Christ) may not be standing at the end of this shaking. Psalm 91 is a popular chapter of the Bible that talks about divine protection. It was the third Psalm I learnt and mastered after Psalms 23 and 1. So many Christians can recite it like a good song, but is that your current reality? It talks about a secret place where we dwell with God. We know that God dwells in the light where no man can approach. 1 Timothy 6:16. What does this mean? Only a light of like substance can approach Him. We are the light of the world. Matthew 5:14. God has also shined in our hearts. 2 Corinthians 4:6.

Christians must know there is a big difference between what is written and making it our experience. Many people claim these blessings and promises when they go through crises, but eventually succumb to the unfortunate vicissitudes and vagaries of this world of corruption. Thereby, making the power of God null and void. Many christians have vowed never to grow up into sonship and take their rightful positions. This is why many see Christianity as a child's play, and are busy mocking men of God. We think Christianity is about Church gatherings, offerings and tithes. Christianity is the life of God expressed on this Earth. A life of power, authority, glory and dominion. We can only live this life by faith. How many battles has your faith gotten you victory? The Bible tells us severally that the righteous (justified) shall live by faith. Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Hebrews 10:38.

Child of God, have you been ignoring the call to faith because of the limited possibilities we see in science? What will you do when science fails? This is that period we are in. We see the failure and flaw in the world so clearly in areas like global warming, cancer, COVID-19, Tsunamis, hurricanes, etc. This is why God said we must come out of the world and its systems, and be separate. 2 Corinthians 6:17. Only God has the answers to all of life's problems. It will take more than confessing Scriptures to be victorious in this trying time. We don't prepare for war on the battlefield. The secret place is a dwelling place and not a resort where we visit once in a while. It's never too late while on Earth because God is merciful. Build that altar of a consistent and daily prayer life, confession, word study, waiting on God, etc.�

� The Soul Restorer

The Spirit's Word: He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Psalms 23:3 KJV


Our Lord is the good Shepherd that looks after His sheep. John 21:15-17. Pastors are only caretakers of the flock of God. One of the responsibilities of our Lord to us is restoring our souls. To restore is to bring back into an original state; an original condition. It is not to repair but to take something back in time. When you repair, it is most likely the effectiveness of that thing has depreciated or reduced. However, restoration does not in any way reduce the strength or potency of the thing. The soul of man is the core of our existence on earth. God is more interested in our souls, even the devil. Our bodies will return to dust. Jesus said the flesh profits nothing. John 6:63. Our spirits are one with the Holy Spirit when we got born again. 1 Corinthians 6:17. However, the battle of life takes place in the soul. The soul is composed of the different thousands of emotions, the will to decide, and a mind that thinks, ponders and meditates.

Whether we are victorious or defeated is determined in our souls. Whether we make heaven or hell is decided by our souls. The devil trades for the souls of men. Revelation 18:12-14. We must never take lightly the matters of the soul. This is why King David prophesied the Soul Restorer who should come. Most people who are troubled in life is as a result of the state of the soul. Think about all the ills of life. It comes out of the soul. The Bible says if we faint in the the day of adversity, our strength is small. Proverbs 24:10. This is not physical strength but inner strength. Hear what Apostle Paul said: That He would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man. Ephesians 3:16. The inner man refers to the soul. All things are ours in Christ when we became born again. 1 Corinthians 3:21. He also set eternity in our hearts and blessed us with all spiritual blessings. Ecclesiastes 3:11, Ephesians 1:3. This is all a reality in our spirit man.

The real deal is to bring out what is in our spirit into the soul. This calls for the breaking of the outer man. There is a shell that keeps what is in the spirit inside. Out of our bellies shall flow rivers of living waters. John 7:38. Belly refers to the innermost being or the spirit. And with joy we shall draw waters out of the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:3. These wells are in the spirit man. We must understand that only when we focus on the things of the Spirit, we allow these different streams to flow. We must live according to the fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22. We must renew our minds with the Word of God. Romans 12:1-2. We must also learn to rest in Him. Isaiah 26:3, Psalm 116:7-8. Jesus, who is our good Shepherd, will not force His flock to do anything. Remember, a flock is made up of sheep and goats. Sheep are meek and obedient, while goats are stubborn and rebellious. He has laid down the principles for us. Engage the Spirit of God in you, and He will show you more. John 16:13. �

Reminder: The soul is the most complicated aspect of man, and so, it takes quite some time to be perfected because of the interface it makes with a corrupt and fallen world.

� Satan's Devices

The Spirit's Word: And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. Then there arose certain of the synagogue, ...disputing with Stephen. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake. Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God. And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council, And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:
Acts 6:8‭-‬13 KJV

The devil will always attempt to put out a burning and shining light. He is the prince of darkness and all evil, going about establishing domains of darkness. He can only do this through men because spirits are not permitted to operate on the earth, except man grants them permission. Psalm 115:16. If the enemy can't make you yield or fall, he will go through those you relate with. The Scripture above is an example of how he does it. Stephen was anointed, and became a threat to the kingdom of Satan by the great miracles he did. So, what did Satan do? He knew the anointed of the Lord would not easily yield to his temptations and fiery darts because he must have tried. He stirred up most of the people that Stephen would interface with; people Stephen respected, and would not easily ignore being that they were members of the house of God

This is why prayer is very important. If you are able to resist the devil and he flees from you all the time, it's good: glory be to God. What about the people next to you? No man is an island. The Anointing is for serving the people; and hence, you can't do without interacting with people. Satan's craftiness is the same all throughout history. He doesn't have new tricks. His minions are all over the place in the form of jealousy, pride, heaviness, fear, doubts, lies, infirmity, slumber, divination, perversion, greed, lust, covetousness, bondage, whoredoms, antichrist, death, familiar spirits, etc. He's never out of options to use against that highly prized believer. He watches and monitors you by means of any of these spirits to know your weakness and weakest point. The enemy is ready to kill anyone that is a threat to him, even though that soul would go to heaven. It's a good deal for him to lose one to heaven and win many to hell.

We can now understand why daily prayer and watching is important. We don't have control over people around us. However, we can stop the enemy from greatly influencing or inciting them against us. Jesus always addressed the spirit and not the man. The same thing they did to Jesus was what they did to Stephen. Old tricks like I said. We must not be ignorant of his devices. 2 Corinthians 2:11. When we go out for evangelism, it is warfare. Prayer is the preparation for such. No one can win in the flesh against the enemy. He is full of all craftiness and wickedness. We must never take it lightly, because God expects us to be wise and give the devil a hard time. What's the point of being martyred when there is so much to conquer for the kingdom. We must always watch and pray because the adversary is always up to something. �

Reminder: Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

� A Gentle Spirit

The Spirit's Word: And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
2 Timothy 2:24 KJV

Gentleness is a fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22. Jesus is gentle, and so is the Holy Spirit. We were told not to grieve the Holy Spirit, because He is the gentle Spirit. Ephesians 5:30. Gentleness is calmness, softness, mildness, amiability, politeness, having a kind and considerate disposition. I feel sad for my generation as many have despised this precious quality of God. People don't want to be tagged gentle because stereotype has connected it to being dull, docile and weak. This is a lie of the devil. If you are a Christian, and you think being gentle is being dull or weak, that's a myopic view. Many go by experience, and most of us don't use the right words in context. This is why it's being abused and despised. Gentility is one of the qualities of God that reflects innocence. I have heard some tag others as ''slow poison'' or a ''green snake under the green grass'', because they are quiet but still reflect a terrible personality. That's far from gentility.

It will take discernment to not be deceived by pretentious people. The Lord said we shall know them by their fruits. Matthew 7:16. Love is the fruit of the Spirit, and every other fruit mentioned in this category proceeds from love. Gentility is not stupidity. People who despise true gentility don't know the Lord. He is meek, lowly, gentle and peace personified. Matthew 11:28-30. Isaiah prophesied about our Lord Jesus thus: He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
Isaiah 42:2‭-‬3. A gentle person is never self-seeking. They don't strive or quarrel because there is no anger, pride or jealous traits in them. They are quick to forgive and let go of issues because they don't have the heart to carry unnecessary burdens.

Examine the fruit of the Spirit, and you will know that's the cheapest way to be more than acquainted with the Father. Being gentle doesn't mean people would love you; that's not the point. Gentleness ensues peace. It also fosters unity and pacifies anger. Proverbs 15:1. People can't seem to remain angry around a gentle person. It attracts the wisdom of God. James 3:17. There are many possibilities in being gentle as many would find it easy to approach you. People are always an opportunity to either solve a problem or receive God's favour. Let's not continue to neglect it as the world is so harsh today because of that. Like the opening Scripture said, it is required for service.�

Reminder: Gentility can make you a person of positive influence as it attracts men and woman, both great and small.

� The Antichrist Spirit

The Spirit's Word: Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that Antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
1 John 2:18 KJV

John the beloved had so many spiritual encounters just like Paul. The end time is a ministry in itself, and so was the revelation granted to him. I believe he functioned in both the prophetic and apostolic offices. He was very dear to our Lord Jesus. We could state many reasons for his intimacy with the Lord, but that's not the topic for today. We have all heard about the Antichrist, who is a person. The opening text tells us many antichrists have already come which is a sign of the end time. The Antichrist is the person that says Jesus didn't come in the flesh, and that He is not the son of God - the Christ. 1 John 4:3, 1 John 2:22. Christ means the Anointed One of God. Since the days of Jesus, many antichrists have come. The only mission or mandate of the Antichrist Spirit is to deceive and take many to hell. We should never be ignorant of Satan's devices. 2 Corinthians 2:11.

The Antichrist is full of guile, wiles, craftiness and deception. There is no one he (they) won't try to deceive. We that have believed in Jesus are their targets. Think about it. Why would they try to deceive those on their side already? Whether they know it or not, that's not relevant to the devil. The Christian is the target. The devil will never come in his true form, nature and character which is full of all sin, evil, wickedness and deception. 2 Corinthians 11:14. Many humans are already cooperating with the antichrist spirit today. We hear of abortions, perversions, and all manner of error - all hinged on human rights. Christians who sow to the flesh will be easy prey for the Antichrist, because the enemy cannot win when it comes to the things of the Spirit. He tempted Jesus based on appetite, lust, greed, pride, etc. Matthew 4:4-7. The devil would never tell you to do anything that would please God.

If you will survive the deception of the Antichrist, then you must be walking and living in the spirit, without any inclination to the flesh. Your flesh and soul must be ruled by your spirit. Galatians 5:15-26. We must remove selfishness from our lives. Selfishness is the foundation by which the Antichrist can build upon his deception. He would tell you things you want to hear; things that would make your ears to ting because you have a high affinity for me, myself and I. Most of the human rights legislations today are geared towards meeting people's selfish, perverse and inordinate desires. Also, if you are stubborn and rebellious, and show no respect for authorities, the Antichrist can get you. This is because their agenda is to make you feel emancipated when you were never under any yoke or servitude in the first place. Make sure you know God, and His Word dwell in you richly in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Colossians 3:16. �

Reminder: We are under God's authority. Let's live as such. If you are loyal to your Master, no taskmaster can pluck you out of His Hands. Our God is the Monarch of the universe. We must be a people of order, righteousness, judgment, faith, love, mercy and justice.

� Strait and Narrow Gate

The Spirit's Word: Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:12‭-‬14 KJV


Jesus came to the earth with one principle for man to live by, which is love. John 3:16. He summarized the lengthy old covenant. He showed us that if we would love and do unto others as we would like them to do unto us, we won't need to even go to the archives of the law. This is the golden rule. However, He did testify in another place that light has come into the world but men love darkness. John 3:19. This is why the Holy Spirit came to reprove the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. John 16:8. He reproves the world of judgment because the devil has been sentenced to eternal destruction, but why is the world still being deceived? After knowing this, men still choose that wrong way. By the works of Jesus, it is clear the devil is the enemy. When we cast out devils, heal the sick and raise the dead in the name of Jesus Christ, it is clear that Satan is of an inferior power. The world sees this and still choose to go against God, rather than receive the sanctified Son of the Most High God.

The Scripture talks about gates. Jesus also talked about the gates of hell. Matthew 16:18. Gates are entry points into a place that leads to a destination. In those days, because of the hostilities where strong nations or territories prey on their weak counterparts. So many of these territories had gates which were fortified to prevent ambushment and wanton attacks. Hence, the gates would tell you the strength of the territory. Gates are symbolic for might and power. Sometimes, a gate can be deceptive. A gate can be so beautiful but the territory being impoverished. A gate could depict falsehood where you find a slaughterhouse down the road. Many have entered gates they thought were the ways to paradise and utopia, but met their untimely destruction. Even the devil has gates that lead to hell and he has been deceiving many into it with all the falsehood being displayed and advertised: fleshly lusts, pride of life and worldliness.

This is why the Lord warns us to only go through the strait or difficult, narrow or unattractive gate (unattractive to the natural senses). Jesus has given us all the knowledge we need to make Heaven. He has also given us the roadmap. Tell me: Is that greed, lust, or quest for ungodly power worth an eternity in the lake of fire? Think about it. Everything is becoming clearer now, but many will still be deceived or choose to turn a blind eye. The world is on a time bomb now, and everyone can see that prophecy is being fulfilled everyday. It looks like some people are just destined for destruction. But it doesn't have to be you! You can make that decision now. Let him that is unjust remain unjust; and let him that is righteous remain righteous still. Revelation 22:11. Either way, the King of kings is on His way. He won't tarry. �

� Spiritual Flexibility

The Spirit's Word: The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
John 3:8 NKJV

A genuine child of God must possess qualities of the wind. The wind can't be tamed, neither can it be captured. Nobody can tell the wind how to blow or where to blow. The wind is always felt but never seen. The same way the anointing works in the life of a believer. No one has seen the anointing but the effects can't be denied. The wind can be gentle or rough depending on the situation. Don't forget the kingdom suffers violence sometimes. God has made us as indefinite as the wind, so that the devil can never figure out the believer. The wind is hardly ever on the ground. It blows on top. Even God rides on the wind. Psalm 104:3. The wind can be applied to generate power. Some countries have gone deep with respect to wind power. Power is needed in every sphere of life.

I saw a movie many years ago. They relocated some folks to Mars and were experimenting survival there. What actually kept them alive was a wind generator. Without wind on earth, grasses won't grow; neither would humans survive. Hear it from God's mouth: Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God ; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
Ezekiel 37:9. So wind here means breath. No wonder Jesus breathed upon the apostles to receive the Holy Spirit. John 20:22. We are carriers of these breath with which we introduce new life into our sphere. Adam was a living soul, and Jesus is a life-giving Spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:45. And we know we are just like Him, even now on earth. 1 John 4:17. What have you been doing with this ability in you? Is the devil still catching up with you at every turn?

This spiritual flexibility granted us by God is one that makes us operate just like Him. Remember, He has given the earth to men. God's jurisdiction is heaven while ours is earth. Genesis 1:28, Psalm 115:16. The connection here is tied to our mouths. Breath can only come out from your mouth and nose. But the nose can't speak. We connect God's Word in our mouths, with the spirit that proceeds from our breaths, to make any kind of impact within our jurisdiction. Our lives as Christians must not be one that drives people away, but rather attract them. We have been called to show forth God's praise. 1 Peter 2:9. A peculiar people is what we are. These things are not automatically activated here on earth. It will take revelational knowledge backed up by the One who rode upon the wings of the winds as He hovered over the face of the deep, and turned what was ugly into a beautiful wonder. Genesis 1:2-3. �

Reminder: God used the wind to part the red sea. The wind is an essential entity any time and day. We are essentials on the earth.

� Friendship With The World

The Spirit's Word: Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
James 4:4 KJV

The above scripture may look out of place. A babe in Christ or an unbeliever may wonder at the the statement. God made the world and put man in charge of it, but something happened to the world and man. The enemy, Satan, happened. Adam and Eve made a very terrible transaction when they obeyed the devil. They disobeyed God who put them in charge of the earth. Rebellion against God means allegiance to Satan, and so the devil became their ''lord'' Genesis 1:26. Genesis 3. This brought back the darkness that was found in Genesis 1:2. The consequences of sin is darkness and death (Romans 6:23), because in God is light and no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5. The devil is in charge of the world and has tainted the creation of God, including man. Psalm 82:5, 2 Corinthians 4:4.

For this reason, the Lord Jesus came to destroy his works. 1 John 3:8. His death, resurrection and ascent to heaven was solely for man's redemption. This is why God already promised a new heaven and earth. Think about the destructive influence of sin. Even God needs to create a new heaven and earth. Revelation 21:1-3 This world cannot be cleansed just like that. Even our bodies will require a total recreation. We only sustain it by the Holy Spirit that dwells within us. Romans 8:11. We are still mortals in the flesh and this is why we die or sleep in Christ. Immortality must swallow up mortality on that day when Christ shall appear. 1 Corinthians 15:53-55. Some believers still love the world. Many are not ready to go to our real home because they still attach themselves to the lusts of the eye and flesh, and the pride of life. These are the elements of the world that makes it the enemy of God. 1 John 2:16.

We must make up our minds whose side we are on. Salvation is not a one time experience. It's a daily experience. We must work it our daily. Philippians 2:12-13. The Lord warns that we must carry our cross daily. Luke 9:23. Some cannot accept this. This is why we have casual Christians. This is the same reason the grace message is being abused. Truly, Jesus came to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18-19. It means God is ready to accept all who will believe in His Son and all He did for us. It's a simple issue. Why can't people understand that accepting Jesus Christ means rejecting Satan and the world. It is this same world he uses to trap men and keep them as slaves under his yoke of bondage. Apostle Paul said: Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?
Romans 6:16 NKJV. It's either one or the other, and not both.

� Revival

The Spirit's Word: For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
Habakkuk 2:14 KJV


Revival is simply defined as heaven on earth; the supernatural swallowing up the natural; light putting darkness to flight. It is the glory and power of God in great manifestation on the earth, and in the lives of men - believers and unbelievers alike. God makes His rain to fall on both the good and bad. He is not selfish or stingy with His goodness and mercy. Psalm 107:1. For He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Matthew 5:45. We talk about Revival like it's God's will to keep it away from us, only for Him to hit us with a bang at a particular season. Sadly, that's not the will of God. God desires that the earth be filled with His glory. He desires that all men be saved. 2 Peter 3:9. He desires that all His children operate supernaturally on earth. John 10:34. Revival is the effect and reflection of a genuine oneness between man and God Almighty, filled with all manner of supernatural encounters. Intimacy with God births revival all the time.

We must know that sin is responsible for a season of dryness and lack of power or the glory of God in manifestation. Isaiah 59:2. Satan and Death get their power from sin. 1 Corinthians 15:56, John 8:34. When men sin, they lack confidence in God and draw back. Genesis 3:8-10. The more sin is holding sway, the less the glory or power of God can stay. We give the enemy legal rights and it's open season for demons, principalities, powers, etc. The enemy tempts us all the time so we can be in rebellion against God by sinning against Him. When Jesus walked the earth, demons were trembling because the Holy Ghost was in the right environment to operate because He was a vessel unto honour and an holy temple. We saw how He made Satan look so little. Matthew 4:24. Jesus was one man. If we had just one Jesus-like man in every city of the nations, the enemy would have been in hiding. Then righteousness and judgment should prevail in the world. This is God's Will, even more.

Remember how Jesus asked the Jews, which of them can convict Him of sin? John 8:46. He also stated boldly that the devil has nothing in Him. John 14:30. We must know that the enemy was stripped of all his powers. Colossians 2:15. The apparent power the devil wields is as a result of man's continued disobedience to God. He steals the little you have when you sin. John 10:10. That's the only way he has power. Revival takes place when men become hungry for God and tired of the darkness, sin, confusion, sickness, death, evil and bondage the devil continues to orchestrate in the lives of men and women. Thus, drawing many to a place of consecration, prayer, fasting and devotion to God. This attracts God Almighty any day and anytime. Exodus 3:7. It doesn't always have to come to this. Men must reject the works of Satan continually, and live a life of holiness and righteousness. Then, the glory of God would never be scarce amidst us. �

� The Office of a Teacher

The Spirit's Word: And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.Ezekiel 44:23 KJV

For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.
Malachi 2:7 KJV

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:Ephesians 4:11-12 KJV

Many know about the fivefold ministry of our Lord Jesus as seen in Ephesians 4:11. In the old testament, the Priests offered animal sacrifices, rendered the service of the tabernacle and acted as intermediary between the people and God. They also taught and judged the people of God. Jesus has done away with the sacrifices and ordinances. Colossians 2:14. The old tabernacle was only a shadow of what we now have. Colossians 2:17, Hebrews 10:1. No more sacrifice for the Priest to present. However, the teaching responsibility has been given to the Teacher, because Jesus has become our High Priest forever. Hebrews 4:14-16. The Lord Jesus specially calls and ordains some into this office. We must know that the Priests of the old testament heard directly from God. Hence, the Teaching Office is a high calling.

If we knew how much God values and cares for His people (Luke 12:7), we must also know then that the one entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing them must be blameless. Hear what the Apostle said: Not many [of you] should become teachers [serving in an official teaching capacity], my brothers and sisters, for you know that we [who are teachers] will be judged by a higher standard [because we have assumed greater accountability and more condemnation if we teach incorrectly].James 3:1 AMP. The teaching ministry is very important to Jesus. In all His assignments, teaching was the dominant one. Teaching equips the believer with knowledge. Hosea 4:6. Teaching is also incorporated into the other offices. You cannot be an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist or Pastor, and not possessing an appreciable Teaching capability. It is a sensitive office because one error from a Teacher can lead to a lifetime of woes for the hearers, listeners, students or disciples

The Teacher should strive to be sound in all the doctrines of Christ. He must also be an example to the household of God. Students will do what you say and also, what you do. Your conduct must be that of Christ. You must know the voice of God as we are only custodians of these offices. The real Teacher is our Lord Jesus. Anyone who desires that office must think twice and examine his or her life. The Lord Jesus says whoever causes one of His children to stumble would be better off if they tied a milestone around his neck and cast him into the sea. Mark 9:42. This is not a light thing. Some folks don't know and are too proud to admit their ignorance in certain areas. Sincerity and transparency is the watchword for Teachers. Don't teach what you are not certain about. It's better we are humble to the point of saying ''I don't know for now''. When we act like this, grace and revelation is multiplied. �

� Today's Lazarus and Jesus

The Spirit's Word: Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom Thou lovest is sick. When Jesus heard that, He said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. When He had heard therefore that he was sick, He abode two days still in the same place where He was.
John 11:3‭-‬6 KJV

I came across the above Scripture and the Lord called my attention to something. Lazarus, Martha and Mary were siblings who were very close to the Lord. From the Scripture, it was twice stated that Jesus loved Lazarus. And they knew Him as a friend and miracle worker. However, that relationship looked to have failed them when they needed it to work for them the most. All the while Jesus was with them in their city, they must have seen all the mighty miracles and healings He did for others. Sadly, their trusted confidante was no where to be found when they needed Him the most. Hear what Martha said on the Lord's return: Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
John 11:21. Let's note that not all the dead were raised by Jesus. What if He didn't consider raising Lazarus from the dead? Remember Jesus said: For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.
John 5:21. Raising the dead is absolutely His prerogative (whom He will). It is not subject to our will, emotions or desires. Although, we can move Him to, with our faith. Sometimes, He says ''no''. (A topic for another day).

Now, this is what the Lord brought to my mind. How many of us claim to know the Lord, who is the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25), and yet are still destitute of this divine life He has freely given us? How many have tapped into this overflowing river of life and gained mastery over their health? Lazarus was of the old covenant, so we can excuse him. Today, many Christians who know the Lord to the point of dining with Him, hearing His voice, sitting at His feet, etc. still struggle with the basics of His finished works. Where are we missing it? When are we going to be willing to get on the ends of this supernatural life our Lord wrought for us. We know the Scriptures did not lie when it said: Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses. Matthew 8:17. Lazarus was counted blessed because that resurrection was originally planned into Jesus' ministry. What about the others who won't get that privilege? Do we leave our lives to such a risky probability?

This is a clarion call. The same things our Lord delivered us from still creep into the lives of devoted believers just like the rest of the world. Praise God for supernatural healing which is the children's bread. Mark 7:27. The Son of Man didn't heal everyone because He was one man who got tired and weak travelling from city to city. But He did teach everywhere He went, so we can be equipped on how to seize this divine life He came to give us. Let's stop making a mockery of our faith. The responsibility is on us to go after all the Lord has given us and apprehend these precious realities. We have been made partakers of His divine nature. 2 Peter 1:3. It's sad that even Christians read this Scripture and decide to remain as natural as the creatures who are waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. Romans 8:19. We are without excuse.

Reminder: We are only cheating ourselves of these blessings. Spiritual laziness is a curse. Rebuke it from your life today, repent and go after the Lord like never before. ✡️

� The Apostles' Prayer

The Spirit's Word: And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ. For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done. And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.
Acts 4:24‭-‬31 KJV

In the days of the acts of the Lord's Apostles, the persecution was so great. The threatenings were confrontational and extreme. Remember, they just killed Jesus, but He arose. Glory to God. The Apostles did not stop talking about the Gospel even with the threats. The above Scripture is the reason they didn't. They prayed to the One that sent them. They chose to obey God rather than men. Acts 4:19. They were persuaded of Whom they have believed. This is the right response to any form of attack, persecution or demonic legislations the people of the world try to bring against the Church. Satan is behind it all. We must not keep silent. God expects us to look up to Him. When we send one on an errand, he reports to the one that sent him whether he is successful or not. We are all messengers and servants of the Master. He is ready to confirm our words. Isaiah 44:26. We know the Antichrist spirit is already operating in the world. However, he has been held back with his agenda. God is still in charge of affairs by reason of prophecy.

We cannot afford to leave things to the clergy or man of God. An attack against the Church is an attack against us. Apostle James was killed by this same tactic, and Apostle Peter was next in line to die until the Apostles prayed. Acts 12:1-8. What is your attitude concerning the things you see and hear in the media? They fight churches but give licences to abortion or murder clinics. Some feel less concerned, while it doesn't even bother some Christians. You think you would escape when things go south. Find out what happened in the days of Hitler and Nero. Also, in the days of Esther, it almost happened. They fasted with incessant prayers, and God overturned their enemies. Esther 3-8. We only do valiantly through the Lord who is our strength. Psalm 60:12. Know that the enemy is ready to kill every single one Christian, and he uses unrighteous, godless sinners in places of government and authority for his cruelty. The Church has been empowered by the Lord Jesus Christ, but where there is cowardice or nonchalance, our faith suffers. ✡️

Reminder: Prayer is the key. We must report to the Master when these taskmasters are invading.

� Are You Offended in Christ?

The Spirit's Word: And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
Matthew 11:6 KJV


The above Scripture is the Word of the Lord Jesus. John the Baptist was offended in Him because after the Lord's manifestation to Israel through him, he expected something more; perhaps a collaboration. Now, John the Baptist was in prison and the Lord Jesus didn't do anything about it. How about that? John the Baptist must have been overwhelmed by that. He asked his disciples to go and enquire from the Lord, whom he already confirmed to the whole Israel, whether they should expect someone else. Think about that. That was very cynical. But the Lord, being the Prince of Peace, was not offended. He told those disciples to go and report what they see. Many of us expect the Lord to fit into our box, but we will wait forever. He is Lord and we are His subjects. We are the ones to fit into His box - plans and purposes. God told the prophet Jeremiah to learn from the Potter and clay, who is subject to the other. Jeremiah 18. The Potter owns the clay and can do whatever He chooses to do with it. This is His prerogative.

Many of us have been there. We have all gotten offended in the Lord. It won't do us any good. It's one of the enemy's lies to deprive us of what God has for us. Newly born again Christians get offended when they start growing and see that the Christian race is a ladder that they must climb. Mommy won't keep breastfeeding you forever. Some Christians get offended by Malachi 3:10 that commands us to bring in to the Church our tithes and offerings. Some would argue they can use their money or 'tithe in hand' for other good works such as helping the poor, widow, orphan, etc. That is rebellion. God has instructed we do all and not to choose one of them. When we try to dictate to the Word of God under our twisted minds, we become a judge of the law. Hear what Apostle James said: ...but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
James 4:11. The law is the law, and it was given for our good.

We do not make laws for ourselves, neither are we self-governing. We have a Master who is the Lord Jesus. Sometime ago, the Lord told me, ''I can only work with the faithful''. If we won't be faithful to little instructions from God, we resist Him. Are we stronger than Him that we should provoke Him this way? 1 Corinthians 10:22. We know that in man is all manner of pride, rebellion, disobedience,etc. However, the work of the Holy Spirit is to help us see past these things because truly, all things work together for the good of them that love God. Romans 8:28. If we love Him like most of us claim, we won't be offended in Him. Rather, we would submit to Him in all ramifications. There is nothing God would demand from us that would add to His stature or glory. We can't add anything to Him but rather, He keeps adding to us until our joy is full. ✡️

Reminder: Take a deep retrospective dive into your soul and uncover those things you have tucked within that have brought offence toward God. Repent and just love Him no matter what.

� Spiritual Communications

The Spirit's Word: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 14:26 KJV

Communication is a bridge between two or more parties. The name of this bridge is understanding. We can say we have communicated when both parties have an understanding of the information or substance being transferred. This substance could be sound, picture, words, energy, etc. We have a Teacher in the Holy Ghost. He is the One ordained by the Father to take us into depths of spiritual communications and encounters without limit. Truly, the Holy Ghost is not limited to the popular channels of conveying knowledge and revelations to His students. Dreams and visions are the popular dimensions of the spiritual realm. Even devils have mastered communications through this means. This is why the Holy Ghost cannot be limited to just dreams and visions. The things of the spirit gave birth to the things in the natural or physical. The way we have five human senses, the spirit also utilizes the eyes for seeing; the ears for hearing; the nose for smelling; the tongue for tasting; and the skin for feeling. Your physical body is a reflection of your spirit and soul. Luke 16:24-27.

Jesus perceived virtue had gone out of Him when the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem of His garment. Luke 8:46. The Bible generally uses the term perception for all manner of spiritual communication. The Holy Ghost lives in the believer, and the more we give Him room, the more He explores all the possible channels.
The Lord told a parable about the rich man who went to hell, and Lazarus being in the bosom of Abraham: And he cried out and said, Father Abraham, have pity and mercy on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame. Luke 16:24 AMP. The rich man's soul was in pain, athirst and needed water. Our bodies are only an expression of the soul or spirit's desires. Man is not just the body. The body is an earth suit because the death of the body is a separation from man's spirit. We must be spiritually sensitive by walking and living in the spirit to experience these realities. Galatians 5:22-25

Think about the limitless possibilities we can encounter everyday with the Holy Ghost. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Romans 8:14. Most believers feel the Holy Ghost making impressions on their bodies during prayer, worship, impartation or when making a wrong decision. Sometimes, it could come as an electric surge, pricks, pulses, oil drops, water trickles, like being submerged in a river, and many more. Sometimes, people go down under the power of God because their bodies could not withstand the spiritual energy it was subjected to. Truly, we walk by faith and not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7. However, all these are ways God uses to reach out to us. He wants us to be aware of His work in us. Some have smelled the rottenness of demons around without seeing or hearing them. Everyone is not the same, and so we must all grow in the Holy Ghost. This can quicken our apprehending of all that God has for us. ✡️

Reminder: Whatever channel of communication that has been established between you and the Holy Ghost, you can still ask Him for more. Study 1 Corinthians 12.

� Vessels of Deception

The Spirit's Word: But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
2 Timothy 3:13 KJV

Deception is the devil's nature. The Lord said he is a liar and the father of it. John 8:44. You must know that anyone who has this nature is capable of any kind of sin. This is true because he or she will be ready to fabricate a lie to cover up. No liar would be found in heaven. Revelation 21:6. It doesn't matter the other good works you do, it's founded on a lie. Hear what the prophetic psalmist said: Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts:
Psalms 51:6. This is a spiritual issue. Jesus is the Word of God, and He is Truth that sanctifies us. John 17:17. Any believer who still retains this lying nature must give it up before it sends you to hell. Seven things are an abomination to God, and a lying tongue is only second to pride. Proverbs 6:16-18. It is impossible to retain the Spirit of Truth when you are always found in one deception after another. You create a conducive home for a lying spirit, and also a seducing spirit. 1 Timothy 4:1. Many so-called believers think they hear from the Holy Spirit when they don't even know how to tell a simple truth. Don't be deceived. Out of the abundance of the heart (spirit), the mouth speaks. Luke 6:45.

People in this category think they are wise, but they are the most deceived by the devil. See the opening Scripture. They keep sinking deeper and deeper into darkness and the devil's stronghold. They are wallowing in a quagmire of demonic filth without realizing. The Lord is always out against them thus: that frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;
Isaiah 44:25. They never make progress because they are turned out of the Way, Truth and Life, which is the Lord Jesus Christ. A lying spirit is parent to the following: false prophets (Matthew 7:15), false teachers, slanderers (Proverbs 10:18), gossips (1 Timothy 6:20), religious bondages (Galatians 5:1), craftiness (Job 5:12), guile, flattery, superstitions (1 Timothy 4:7), exaggerations and hypocrisy.

Recall, it was a lying spirit that deceived King Ahab through the mouths of all his prophets. 1 King's 22:22. This led to his death. Also, Jesus taught us that we are the light of the world. However, when the light in you is darkness, it is the worst kind of darkness you can find. Matthew 6:22-23. He talked about the eye being single, which means you are set on the path and focus of truth. Lying is such a terrible thing, because it takes you into the dark realm of iniquity where you are concocting falsehood in the night time and plotting mischief on your bed. Psalm 36:4 & 74:20. The Lord Jesus cursed the fig tree because it was living on a lie. It gave a false appearance bearing fruits, whereas it was just leaves. Matthew 21:19-20. If He would do that to a harmless tree, how much more we, who already know what is expected. Don't play games. There are no white lies. God doesn't use hyperboles. Start meaning what you say. ✡️

Reminder: And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
Daniel 11:32. Even flatteries are tantamount to corruption with God.

� Selling the Truth?

The Spirit's Word: Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.
Proverbs 23:23

How can we buy the truth? What is truth? Truth is that which goes before God's face - God's point of view. Psalm 89:14. It is divine and pure. It is God's reality. The path of truth is straight and never winding. Truth is God's standard. We cannot dwell with God if we don't know, accept and live in the truth. Truth liberates. John 8:32. Truth sanctifies. John 17:17. Truth is found in the Word of God when the Spirit of Truth reveals it to you. Bibles and anointed materials will provide you with truth. However, without the Holy Ghost, Who is the Spirit of Truth, we cannot access it. We need to acquire truth in order to dwell with God. The Lord Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. He is the Word of God, and we must labour in the Word to own it. 2 Timothy 2:15. This would require our time and resources. When man fell, the truth in man was exchanged for the lie of the devil. Truth is constant irrespective of times, seasons, individual opinions, etc. It is different from facts. Facts change with time. Summarily, everything that is found in God's nature, will, character is an element of truth.

Selling the truth is to conceal it. It is to subject it to a lie which is a travesty. Although, we can do nothing against the truth but for the truth. 2 Corinthians 13:8. However, many place the truth second to their opinions and vain imaginations. Apostle Paul calls them strongholds. It is a stronghold because it is orchestrated by the father of lies, the devil. Selling the truth can only mean exchanging it for a lie. Some believers lightly esteem truth, when they ought to make any sacrifice required to acquire it. They have joined the rest of the world to see things from a carnal or natural standpoint. The natural we see is only a false reality from the carnal man's point of view. This is because nature and its various systems are in corruption or decadence. Romans 8:20-21. Anything that has a touch of the fall from Adam's rebellion is no longer eligible to be called real because: dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour. Ecclesiastes 10:1.

The Lord brought back grace and truth which man lost in the beginning. John 1:17. One of the works of the Spirit of Truth is to guide us into all truth. John 16:13. Truth is revealed, taught and lived. The Lord Jesus prayed for His murderers because they did not know the truth. Luke 23:34. If only the people of the world knew the truth, imagine how the world would have been. The sanctity of truth will override the lies and bondages of the devil in which he has held men in captivity. Many follow the enemy because they can only see what is shown to them in this earth realm, which is just facts, and far from truth. If God were to open the spiritual eyes of some; and they see themselves all bound up in shackles and fetters; I can only imagine the spiritual awakening that would flood the earth. The Lord came to help the blind (spiritually) to see, but many claim to see already. So sad. Truth is seeing with the eyes of God. What are your convictions? If it won't cost you your entire life unto death, it is not truth. Don't sell out: stand fast. ✡️

Reminder: Only in heaven and in hell that nothing is secret or hidden. Don't let the devil, who is masquerading in a damaged and condemned earth, to fool you. Ask the Lord Jesus to reveal truth to you today, and every other day.
