Seem most people here have lost their Dad which is quite unfortunate. Its like Mums kills the Dad with lots of load work at home, poor dads

My dad: RARE GEM!

BTW: I never knew him as much as l would have loved to; fell out with Mum when l was still young and being very impressionable, l took all the "stories" women tell kids in such cases, too seriously!  (Anyway, l have forgiven Mum for her part in that)
When l became "an adult" and had the opportunity of getting close to him once more, all the good memories we shared as a kid, came flooding back! I wished l could go back in time but alas, he passed on just when the romance was just waxing strong!
But the little time we shared together was worth a "hundred years", every second of it.
He was a 'naturally good' man. Kind in the heart, firm and strong but most of all, his YES is ALWAYS his YES!.

And to those wondering why "most of the fathers are dead",  my Corper-friend in those days, commented that in Benin City (and it seems its not just Benin!) ALL YOU HEAR IS "MAMA LANDLADY"! Nothing like Baba Landlord who actually built the house!

Women are just smarter than they make the world believe! Even God knows this from the garden of Eden!!
