I know an Igala family that six of their seven children are married to Yorubas, only one is married to an Edo man.
When you ask them why, they will tell you that we are related, about 35% of their language is Yoruba, and their ancestor too is Oduduwa.

If you enter delta then u need to take permission on Igbo section of the state...that's all.

Why do you think there are OPC in all these lands - Edo (akoko Edo people ), Delta ( Itshekiri people ) ,Kogi ( Okun land ) ,kwara ( all the 12 Yoruba speaking LGs) ? For the avoidance of any doubt, not an inch of Oodua land will fall outside of our territory in case of Nigeria's break up. The guy was not making an empty threat,we are more prepared and ready for this than any other tribes in Nigeria. It is not about calling for war or secession on the pages of newspapers that shows how prepare anybody is or killing defenceless farmers on their farmlands in the name of cattle herding. We will secure all Yoruba territories and ruthlessly deal with any opposition to that effect.
