We are the same, I always what everyone else is praying for so long.
I just go straight to the prayer point and done in few seconds or minutes.

Who put the burden of praying for a long time on you? The Bible says pray always. The Bible did not tell us to pray for a specific hour. The instruction is pray always. God always listen to our prayers as long as it is in line with his Will and his character even if it is one second prayer. If you can pray for many hours, no challenge. If you can also pray for either a second or a minute, all the same our heavenly Father hears our prayers always.

Prayer is not how long but the praise and appreciations in it. It is just like pricks, it is not how long or how big but how you use it.

I pray that serious needs do not necessitate serious prolonged prayers. Keep thanking God for your situation. What others pray for loudly and endlessly are better imagined than experienced.

The thing is this: you don't need that prayer; you can do without the answer.
when you come to that point of ' I will never let you go unless you bless me', you will not even know what and how others are praying.

So, in church during the prayer session, and after the prayer topic has been introduced, I find I can't pray for more than 30 seconds, 1 minute tops.

After that, I have nothing else to say. Yet I see others praying until whoever is leading the session intervenes and introduces another prayer topic.

What exactly are they saying for that long or are they just repeating themselves. I can't speak in tongues too, so that doesn't help my cause.

I also cannot pray loudly, I always whisper under my breath even when the pastor says to shout at the top of our voices, because that's just how I am.

Do these things I mentioned n hinder prayers from being answered?

Put yourself in God's shoes. God is very busy hearing everyone's prayers, so I am sure he appreciates people who keep their prayers short, genuine, and too the point. Being quiet also allows you to listen for his answer. It's an important part of a reciprocal conversation.
(Maybe loud prayers seem to God, more like people making prayer a performance about themselves and their apparent holiness, and not about conversing with him.)

Pray to God and walk up to your Pastor to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. Once you're baptized, one of the evidences is speaking in tongues.

The Bible says we don't know how to pray but the Spirit helps us to pray to the Father according to His will. Speaking in tongues helps you pray longer, and not limited by your knowledge of what you think you need.

Then have a consistent prayer schedule every day (or night). You can even start with 10 mins every day. You will be surprised how your prayer life will gradually improve (alongside speaking in tongues) that you soon pray for 30 minutes, 1 hour, 90 minutes, 2 hours, 3 hours etc.

The things of the Spirit are not acquired by human determination. And don't let anyone deceive you here that even if you pray for just 2 minutes, it's all the same thing. IT IS NOT. God is looking for His children that are willing to communicate with him AND ALSO LISTEN TO HIM FOR FEEDBACK AND INSTRUCTIONS.

Prayer is first a mode of communication to our Father, before it is a spiritual exercise.

Praying to an imaginary God is a total waste of time!

IntroVAT they don't however when you put more effort into a thing and you get results then use the same energy into prayers. The truth is those cool prayers doesn't work all the time especially when faced with difficult challenge. If you spent less in prayers you get less result and vice versa.
