Chief Nnia Nwodo, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, in an open letter to the Inspector General of Police, Adamu Muhammed, said that Ndigbo will not fold their arms and allow Fulani herdsmen to continue killing, harassing and raping their people.

Nwodo in his letter noted that the Igbo were ready and capable of defending themselves.

He further revealed how two Fulani boys openly carried AK-47 rifles in a community in Anambra State, yet the Commissioner of Police refused to arrest them because they were Fulani from northern Nigeria.

The apex Igbo group further asked if carrying unlicensed firearms is no longer illegal?

Nwodo noted that not only has the Igbos been marginalized in Nigeria, they have being pushed to the brink.

He noted that residents of Umuawulu community in Awka south local government area had alerted the police when they sighted the Fulani herdsmen with AK-47.

“When the news of the brazen wielding of firearms spread across the council area, as law-abiding citizens, stakeholders there convened a crucial meeting with the police and Fulani leaders and raised the matter for deliberation,” he said.

“The stakeholders told the Fulani leaders in the presence of men of the State Investigation and Intelligence Bureau (SIIB) Awka that they were alarmed and surprised that their boys were flagrantly displaying arms in the public, unmindful of the legal implications of unlawful possession of firearms.

“The stakeholders expressed disappointment that security agencies did not make any attempt to arrest the offending Fulani boys, adding that if it were Igbo boys they would have been arrested, tortured and charged to court.

“But rather than explain what led to the carrying of arms by the boys, or even apologise on behalf of the boys, the Fulani leaders told the stakeholders to do their worst and walked out on them, saying that their boys must always bear arms to protect themselves against religious, ethnic or tribal attacks from any quarters, and there is nothing anybody can do.

“This in the presence of law enforcement agents and nothing was actually done to arrest either the Fulani boys or their leaders for overtly declaring war on the people of Anambra State.”

The Ohanaeze president wondered if “unlicensed firearms” is no longer illegal in Nigeria, asking: “Do we now have different laws for different ethnic groups in Nigeria?”

“If it were to be members of IPOB or any other group other than Fulani that bear such illegal arms, what fate would befall them?,” he asked.

“We are law-abiding, hospitable and always ready to coexist with others as friends and brothers but not as foes and at a supreme price. Enough is enough.”

Stop complaining. Any group of Fulani herdsmen that you see with guns, get your youths, round them up and beat them mercilessly. After that, keep them as slaves, make them work on your farms, sweep the whole community everyday, fetch water from the streams, feed your chickens and goats, wash your clothes, fetch water and water your crops until the crops grow and harvest your crops.

Never ever let them go, keep them as Slaves forever. Anyone of the captured Slaves that break the laws of your land, behead him and sacrifice him to Amadioha. If their fellow evil brothers want them freed, let them wage another Jihad or whatever they call it, be ready for them because it will get really dirty.

In 1965 Yorubas were KILLING themselves in Operation Wetie. Awolowo was already imprisoned at Calabar. Eastern Nigeria was peaceful.
When Igbo Army Officers intervened the sophisticated people joined the North to CRUSH Igboland.
They will do the same again if any Igbo dabbles into the CRISES BEDEVILING these victorious warriors. Let them stew for a while.
