The passport upload is so critical, try edit your passport to 200kb, white background, the width i.e vertical and horizontal ratio should be the same 600x600 or more.
Since you're doing it via phone try download passport maker and background changer.

Ur passport must be with a clear background or preferably a white background. Crop it such that ur face and shoulder occupies over 80percent.

1.U can download JPG image size reducer on playstore . U can use to resize u documents using ur phone.

2. U can use an online image reduer

upload , resize and download to ur phone one by one
