In my understanding, he should be patient. He should know he doesn't have to get in one day. He should keep encouraging her and possibly do more of kissing while trying to penetrate as a way of helping her to take get mind off there act. If water based lubricant isn't working, he should try oil based or possibly vaseline or olive oil. When he finally penetrates, he should be calm to let her adjust before humping.
