Why limit it to countries with 1000 cases.

Ban all incoming traffic and quarantine all returnees.

It is the only way to have peace of mind, cos all you need is one careless case, and it is over.

It is a move in the right direction regardless of the fact that it’s already coming late. However, it’s better late than not done at all. At least Nigerian govt is waking up from their dream of denial

Now that the government has escalated things I have no doubt that Nigeria social media will soon be aflame with people asking for more. I also have no doubt that people affected will call it over reach. We see life through very very dark glasses - yet we call our the colors with authority. What a nation!
