They should have sent his parents a letter or even send him home instead of this, even after the letter, nothing gives them the right to cut their hair without consent of the parent

My right my right crew. The society we damage today will revenge on us tomorrow.

Go and ask the American military why they insist on clean cuts for all soldiers... Does a full hair make a man less soldierly??!

Y'all will just come here and be misyarning... Mtchewww!!!
America military?? Guy you have no point.. Why do stylist keep different types of hair cut.. Why do lawyers wear wig.. The white men that gave us the mentality to build schools sef most of their kids have bushy or different hair cuts and don't that hair cut make them inappropriate in anyway..

Hmmm.... what exactly is bushy hair?....Afro?...dreadlocks?... we seem to have very little or low tolerance for our natural hair. I hope this send a message to other self appointed hair police.

Na my child.. Why can't she come and tell me first.. 5 year old for that matter
Oga if you want dreadlocks for your child, better still train the child at home. No wonder we are having badly raised adults.

Very glad we are getting there as a country, honestly I my kids will have full hair until 18 years. if he or she doesn’t like the hair at that age , they can have a cut.

Please no teacher is supposed to shave a students hair without their parents consent.

UNatoto what do you have to say ?

The kid is 5 for Pete's sake and a baby, why shave his hair without consent. If you so care call the parents and nicely tell them or just do your job and let them be.

Aunty Florence failed at her job. Her job was to teach you academics not how to be neat. God cannot be blessing an Aunty that is doing the work of a teacher.
If you had had Teacher Florence, you would have been a great man today.
They should send more aunties to prison until they learn to be teachers and not aunties.
As old as you are, you should have been aware that what she did is a crime and not a course for blessings.
No teacher should touch a child's hair without the consent of his parents.
Stop this radicalism in Nigerian schools and send more to of those unprofessional teachers to prison
Davash222:
Aunty Florence, you shaved my hair back in primary school. I went home, my mom gave me 100 to go to the salon and have a clean cut. I went to school the following day, Aunty Florence used me as example of how good and neat pupils should look.
Aunty Florence taught me how to keep clean hair cut. I was wondering then, how come my mom didn't notice my bushy hair?

Today's parents are worse!! Yes, I said it.

God bless our Teachers!

Did your mum gave birth to you via CS?

Why will a teacher cut 5 year old pupil hair as a way of discipline the child? At your age you should know any child under 10 is not matured enough to be blamed for any crime.

You are blaming modern days parenting whereas teachers of these days are worst.

Truly... The parents would apologize and thank the teachers, while promising never to allow the hair grow that bushy again.

Those parents will reap the destruction they have sown.

Seriously its just hair, you guys in this thread are acting as if the child beat up an old lady.

Some parents of nowadays and our judicial system are inexplicable really.
How is discharging ones responsibility as a teacher becoming an issue in a country like ours?

The case is a double sided coin! If you don't like the rules of the game, then take your ball to another playing ground!
If you must live in Rome, then do like the Romans!
I know a lot of Private schools who don't allow weave ons and attachments of any sort in the primary school, children weave or plait ordinary hair and it is written in the school rules. They only allow it when they want to do end of the year or Christmas Programs. Anytime outside that, they write notes to the parents, if they refuse and still continue bringing the child, just like this one, they remove it! What if everyone decides to be disobedient? You can't allow some children to be bringing attachments while sanctioning others.
Some said they should have told the parents, it is written there that the parents disobeyed deliberately.
Some said they should have sent him home, a 5 year old?
At times you need to see the way these private school students go to school, some will even cut uniforms to micro mini.
