First he fell and hit his head but from the narrative the fall or the hit wasn't serious. Then about an hour later vomiting... Lets wait for the autopsy there's an intruder in the system of that late fellow

May God confort the bride, her family, groom's famliy and grant the groom eternal rest.. My fiancee and I suffered similar fate during our wedding as well but we thank God it doesn't result to death.. I felt sick and nearly died on the day of my wedding and only my wife was present on that day... Bad day I don't pray for my anyone

May his soul rest in peace. lesson for others, avoid unnecessary movement when your wedding date has been set. The moment he fell and hurt his head the clock of Death start ticking. In addition, only few Hospitals in Nigeria can treat Head injury.

This is a case of Epidural hematoma. He had a lucid interval before he started having the symptoms of raised ICP.
Borehole at that time could have saved him.

The HISTORY they gave is straight forward.
He died from a slowly EXPANDING EPIDURAL HAEMATOMA.
He could have been saved if intervention was carried out early.

..... a NEUROSURGEON would have done justice

You are correct about the LUCID INTERVAL but
Not BOREHOLE.
BURR-HOLE is the right spelling.
and again that's not the ideal procedure for an expanding epidural haematoma.

He would have benefited from CRANIOTOMY and not burr hole

BURR-HOLE is done for chronic subdural haematoma

He had traumatic brain injury with a rapidly expanding extradural haematoma. Subsequently developed raised intracranial pressure which culminated in a tonsillar herniation and cardiorespiratory failure. So sad.

-Nothing suspicious about his death.

-Any head trauma should invoke close medical observation: any following nausea is a classic indication he had internal bleeding from the fall which resulted in enlargement of the brain beyond it’s elasticity. A hole in the head would have eased the pressure and subsequent gradual healing follows...
