Nevertheless,the number of confirmed cases is going to rise significantly if the testing rate increases by at least 50%

Nigeria should not rely on these test kit from china there have been reported cases where the test kit give false result. someone might be positive and the test result will give Negative allowing the person to go and mix with the population and infect more people. It has reported positive for some people that are negative thereby making them to go into unnecessary isolation where they eventually got the virus because they were isolated with people with the virus... Some countries like Spain and Czech republic have returned back the test kit to china..

Do the maths yourself, Out of 265 tests carried out, we have 81 confirmed cases.
Compare this with S/A that has carried out over 20,000 tests with about 1000 comfirm cases.

This means by the time we carry out up to 20,000 tests we maybe registering over 5,000 positive cases.

The testing rate in Nigeria is horribly slow. We need to be really alarmed. Testing 262 people and getting 65 confirmed cases means 25% of the people tested are positive. South Africa with 1,000 out of 20,000 shows a rate of 5% positive which is five times lower than ours and yet they declared curfew well before we did.

Research from New York and Wuhan case show that people may be positive and not exhibit symptoms and yet be highly contagious! It is stupid to base matters on those showing symptoms only!
