It is a spirit. Until the spirit is dealt with he will continue even if you tell your mom.
He needs to first surrender to Jesus that is if he is willing. Then he will go through the process of deliverance. He should renounce every of those acts. After then, check the songs he listens to, movies and the friends he keeps needs to be checked.
