He's playing on the desperation of the vulnerable for cheap popularity, which is callous of him. Just like he did with the media, he's making it seem FDA is against the people while he's the 'liberator.'

FDA have not stopped off-label use, but before they can give the seal of approval, the drug must pass through very rigorous test and trials.

The fact that a drug worked on a few people doesn't really tell us much, especially when it's not done in a controlled trial where potential confounders are eliminated.
