A military commander General Adeniyi in the battlefront on the fight against boko Haram records a video to send to his superiors, but the video has since been viral on social media.

General Adeniyi who was speaking on behalf of the other soldiers denied running away from boko haram. He explains that though many of his men are injured, their morale is still high; and that boko Haram is more equipped than they are, attacking them with 15 gun trucks on every flank during the fight, and having fired more than 100 RPGs at his men and put up so much resistance but eventually being pushed back by the gallant soldiers.

Continue watching to hear more of what he said.

Without the airforce not being very effective in this battle.. boko haram would rage on forever.

The soldiers in the field needs to send in coordinates to the airforce team, and the air force team needs to be battle ready to face them.

I mean no disrespect but the Nigerian military do not know how to fight insurgency warfare.
Insurgency warfare is 50% actual combat and 50% propaganda warfare. You have to win the propaganda war to win the actual war.

Win the support of the local population and deny it to your enemy. Without local support Boko Haram will weaken and die.

Another mistake the army makes is to patrol the the terrain in convoys. That gives you the false impression you're in control while giving the enemy lots of space to attack you.

Nigerian army mostly repel the enemy you hardly see them attack. You have to continuously bring the war to the enemy. Boko haram are human beings. They eat, shìt, and sleep. Find out where they do these things and exterminate them like cockroaches. If that means waterboarding some of the captives then by all means do so.

This is an attritious warfare not church thanksgiving.

I tell you air support is always the deciding factor in all battles. That is the only way. I just wonder what the airforce is doing. Army sef suppose get it's own fighter jets instead of relying on air force.

I watched 3 clips on FB. I felt touched, especially the part of a young soldier who lost a friend in the wave of attacks.

The MRAPs are supposed to have run flat tyres but the ogas at the top supplied usual caterpillar tyres.
The helicopter only came to hover around them and left.
There was poor intelligence gathering.
Under equipped men just to mention a few.

So I ask;

What happened to the newly launched Army Air wing and the gunships supplied by Russia?

Does it mean we don't have drones to conduct areal surveillance and troop excort?

What are these generals learning in the War College sef?

So the NAF Special Forces only does independence day parades alone abi?

God bless the dedicated soldiers. As for those transporting the troop allowances in Ghana must go bags, Corona will visit you.

Gboko haram is a fraud hence the war is still on and some people are benefiting from it. We have airforce plane and drone, who supposed to complement the effort of the foot soldiers to wipe out gboko haram, but never. What we hear from the leaders/government is that 'gboko haram has been technically deafeted'.

Ordinary to deploy drones to drop explosives in their camps, they can’t afford.after they finish their selves finish, the govt will now allocate billions to cushion the effect and rebuild the communities that were filled with bamboos and palm.
